ITT: Anime names you assumed described the series but you were dead wrong when you watched it.
For me the farthest off for me was Attack on Titan, I thought it was going to be a story about a few people attacking a giant floating city in the sky called Titan, with the ability to transform into Skinless God-like creatures.
I thought Steins;Gate was some sort of portal that brought people into different time periods.
Mfw Geoffrey wasn't in Black Butler.
Let's see here... I thought that Discipline - Record of a Crusade was a hentai about crusaders raping Muslim girls (which needs to be made if it hasn't already) and I thought pic related was either a mecha series or a Dragon Ball ripoff where they blasted planets with lasers.
I'm so glad I was wrong.
Oreimo was pretty obscure.
>Attack on Titan
A friend though it was anime about Saturn
Expected laser shootouts and YOU KNOW TOO MUCH I'M AFRAID I CAN'T LET YOU LIVE shit.
Guilty crown. Expected a hardcore political sort of anime but got a supernatural shonen that transitioned into a political struggle. I would've been fine with the show ending at episode 12 honestly.
