What's everyone watching this season?
Is there anything not too generic?
Since Monogatari finish there really isn't much of anything.
nope nothing, might as well move on to another board OP
HDTV Imocho HorribleSubs

Monogatari Second Season — HorribleSubs

Thinking about just subscribing to HorribleSubs in my torrent client and I'll just watch everything until I finally travel. Picture related.
If I had to recommend something to watch this season it would be Noragami. Everything else just seems really bland, and Space Dandy disappointed me. Still hoping it gets better, though.
Recently I'm into 1930's cinema. Yesterday I watched The Scarlet Empress about the life of Catherine the Great with Marlene Dietrich in leading role. Fun movie with amazing sets and lighting. Today I'm planning to watch I'm a Fugitive from a Chain Gang.
Oh, about anime... I'm sure there is one or two series not about stupid teenagers doing stupid things. Too bad this medium sucks so much, eh?
Yeah Noragami looks really good and started well. A shame the beautiful main girl gets told she can't do jack shit in the second episode though. The true face of the show was also revealed to be about yaoi subtext. Kinda disappointed.
Seitokai Yakuindomo S2
Tonari no Seki-kun
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren
Mikakunin de Shinkoukei
Robot Girls Z
Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta
Witch Craft Works
Plus the last season carry overs of
Gundam Build Fighters
Kill la Kill
Strike the Blood
I was pleasantly surprised by this season, I wasn't expecting to pick up this many shows going in
Everyone, use this
You're in the wrong board.
This season is beyond my expectation with Sakura Trick alone.
Also watching Chu22, SYD*, Nisekoi, and last season carry overs
Witch Craft Works
Chuu2, cuz I never finished the first season.
Playing catch-up with other animes + the carryovers hence why there aren't many here. Dandy didn't impress me.
Everything else is haven't seen but still might get around to.
KIll la Kill
Well I think I'll watch The Scarlet Empress, sounds pretty good.
Currently watching Last Year at Marienbad, people were recommending it because I like Bergman a lot and it's actually pretty good so far.
So many short series this season
Repostan from last night as well, though I did make one extra drop.
Every season there are always several. It's just that until recent years they often went unsubbed.
That shot is fucking beautiful.
Thank's for making this, anon
I'm still thinking about picking up some blue shows, and giving 3-episode rule to green/red
Houzoki's probably the only thing I'd suggest you pick up.
>actually using HS
I bet you use VLC too.
Congratulations on having pretty good taste.
>people saying World Conquest is good
I really wish I could see that.. but trice burnt by the director.
What's wrong with HS?
Noragami is pretty good so far, I just wish it won't turn into a yaoi fanfic.
Nobunagun is not very good but entertaining nonetheless so I'll give it a chance and continue watching.
Same could be said of Space Dandy and Samurai Flamenco season 2.
Log Horizon remains more of the same which is a very good thing in my book.
I really didn't like Sekai Seifuku's first episode. Is there really anything good about it beside the blatant lolicon bait?
Thanks i guess.
Isn't the director the dude who made DtB?
I love the designs, they are outlandish and extravagant. I liked the artstyle with the thick eyelids and other minor details. Characters looked like they had potential, none of them screamed too much "generic" in their first appearance. Liked the pacing, didn't felt we were going through things too fast or too slow. The OP was pretty cool, even if a bit uninspired.
To be fair though, it has been one episode, so i can't really say much of story or characters nor can i say i will like it to the end.
They are very hit or miss, some of their subs are completely wrong and ruin the feel of the show.
Yup, along with Wolf's Rain and Blue Exorcist. I'm not convinced that the show is as smart as it, or some people, makes itself out to be.
I won't argue much since i haven't seen the series you mentioned, but blue exorcist was a manga adaptation, so it can be only as good as the book is, and he didn't write wolf's rain, he just directed, while the idea for DtB and Sekai Seifuku are actually his ideas, so i say you should give him the benefit of the doubt.
>I'm not convinced that the show is as smart as it, or some people, makes itself out to be.
I don't think it will try to be smart so much as it will try to be fun.
Space Dandy and Zvezda.
I typically stay away from anything with young characters, but Zvezda has my attention, if mostly for Plamya and Pepel.
Also continuing Kill la Kill and probably starting Flamenco.
Oh boy, hope you enjoy crazy rides because if you don't
Already dropped Space Dandy, Nobunagun & Nobunaga
The only real pleasant surprise for me this season is Noragami, everything else is either bland or not my cup of tea.
This list pretty much explains what this season is made of. Also Tonari no Seki-kun is great.
Only Wizard Barristers, because the creator of Kite is in full control of everything from the direction to the character design.
Watching? Tonari no Seki-kun, Kill la Kill, SamFlam.
Three episode test? Hoozuki, D-Frag, Nisekoi, Zvezda, Witchcraft works, Noragami, Nobunaga the Fool, Chuu22.
Dropped? ...Too many to list.
Kill la Kill and SamFlam were the best series last season (Noukome was probably third).
You're on the right track this season but you need to pick up Tonari no Seki-kun.
I agree with you about HS, but what is wrong with VLC?
It's retarded to put >Haven't watched yet, and >Don't want to watch, in the same category.
