How do you think Araki will end JoJo?
I think he'll end it with a retelling of Phantom Blood, but in a new setting with some new shit thrown in.
>I think he'll end it with a retelling of Phantom Blood, but in a new setting with some new shit thrown in.
Wrong board? I don't mind to discuss JoJo anyway.
You actually made me check, asshole.
Shit, I thought I was on /v/, sorry.
The JoJo of this new world has to decide whether or not his world gets to continue existing, or if the first JoJo continuity gets to exist again.
how fucked up is /v/ if you get that confused
>click the wrong board
>see the name of the board
>lurk on the board
>click on a jojo thread
>and THEN you find out its not /v/
Barely. Phantom Blood didn't involve Jesus parts and Dinosaurs.
Well there was a JoJo thread that day....
Full on homolust. He has been gradually moving towards it for years, it is inescapable at this point.
I don't think he has a plan for how to end it.
I think he'll just decide when it's best to retire, and just finish up whatever part he's working on in some spectacular, over-the-top fashion.
I want to fuck fem-Koichi
It'll end with the story of Joshua ben Joseph, born under a star AKA Joshua Joestar AKA JoJo AKA Jesus Christ. The star in question will be a meteorite from which the Arrows were made.
I'd personally like to see Kars return to Earth somehow. This time with a stand. He would make for a perfect final villain.
It'd be cool, but its doubtful. Unless he meets Aliens or sumthin
Anything's possible if Araki's writing it.
So, stands that are exclusively homosexual stereotypes made glorious and oddly noble, and boys who are in love with one another battling it out?
Maybe it'll be based around male models, and they'll encounter stand users on the catwalk, or in the audience. It'll take place mainly in Paris.
We'll have Josephino La Joestar as the main character, and his power will be to transform poses into conceptual realities. (IE: "I just shot you with my moe bullets~" with a finger outstretched and a wink produces a vicious spark of stars from his eyes and an actual bullet that causes heart attacks). It's called "Baby Don't Hurt Me".
Josephino himself is slightly more effeminate than his previous Jojos, known for being "The model with the body of Zeus and the grace of Athena".
His main enemy is a rival model, Diolo Pier Brandiano, the blonde-haired, tall-and-extra-scrawny "Master of the perfect chin". His stand is called "Origin of Symmetry", and allows him to force any object or idea to be "symmetrical" or parallel. (For example: A face with slight asymmetry can be forced to assume a symmetrical position; the change damages whoever is attacked, or if the asymmetry is too severe, produces a new version that replaces the old completely, along with the original identity. Conceptually, he could do something like "align the philosophies of industry with the philosophies of art" and produces strange results in reality.
It follows Josephino as he works his way up the fashion world, learning the trade; not only how to model, but how to design, choose fabrics, produce a proper fit on any person, do makeup, etc. Along the way, he is attacked by rival models and designers who have been pricked by the mysterious Brooch of Gaul; an alternate world version of the stone arrow.
He is joined by his best friend, Zeppelioni Pariste Von Vismarque, who's stand allows him to change any surface he touches into a type of fabric, and any fabric into a type of surface.
Maybe Mikitaka's parents can give him a lift.
>mfw I've confused boards once too
I mean who didn't die still alive in the alternate universe? Meaning GioGio, as well as Josuke and the gang still alive in the alternate universe?
Why wouldn't Kars still be wandering in space?
Vismarque's stand is called "Kashmir".
Zepplioni and Jojo have a strong romantic attraction to one another, which they both deny, but becomes inevitably obvious to everyone around them.
But there is another man who is in love with Jojo; that's right. Brandiano. But his love is of a different, smoldering type: He is a sadist that wishes to make Jojo his own sexual model; he sees him as the perfection of symmetry, but also as the epitome of how disgustingly muddled the art and passion of fashion has become mixed with the hideous nature of bourgeois vanity and the corruption of money and commercialization.
While Jojo grew up under a wealthy Paris fashion designer mother (and an absent mother, resulting in his somewhat effeminate body language and mannerisms), Brandiano had to scrape it up from the top, modeling after dropping out of school and leaving his father ( unemployed, but once a shoe factory worker) . He found modeling and designing clothing in his spare time to be the best way to channel his energy, though was disgusted by how easily those less gorgeous than him found their way into the fashion industry.
The final battle is a walk off on a huge catwalk in the center of Paris; Brandiano is resetting reality and physical objects, causing tons of backlash and damage, while Jojo poses so hard and perfectly that he creates his own miniature realities, which have symmetries not related to Euclidean geometry or even modern advanced topology, and result in Brandiano's stand being lost in an infinite set of readjustments.
Why was Emporio unaffected by the reboot?
I'm I the only one bothered by the fact that they brought back Dio with The World? Steel Ball Run was such a fucking fantastic story but by the time Araki brought Dio back with The World felt more like fan service than anything else.
Although....that The World.
Eh, not really.
It fit just fine with D4C's ability. If it'd just suddenly manifested, it'd be unsettling, but given the wonky powers of Valentine, I thought it was a cool way to reference his previous works.
My god...it's perfect.
>Kars crashed into a planet at some point
>Slowly, mindlessly evolved on the planet until it became a giant living mass
>In the far flung future descendents of the Joestar and Brando bloodline (best friends) are among the first astronauts to land on the planet in an attempt to colonize it
>Amongst the others the benefactor of the journey (a Speedwagon) and a girl both JoJo and Brando like
>The planet slowly reveals its true nature as being alive
>Mystery unravels where the planet has been shooting meteors (which the arrows came from)into the past and future in an attempt to create a being as evolved as itself
>All past stand abilities and even more ridiculous ones start popping up ad infintium on the planet surface
>Giant climax, the Brando becomes evil, Stands get crazy, turns out even the planet has a stand
Literally the craziest thing I could come up with.
Yes, so that means Irene Joestar and a version of Jotaro are in the same world as Johnny and Josuke.
Entire planet inhabited by intelligent Stands
I like the idea of a far-future Jojo in space, and Cars becoming a planet with a crazy stand, but I wouldn't like all the stands from the past being in it.
Maybe Jojo and Brando are part of a colony of first-generation terra formers that are setting up a civilization on a distant planet; they're sponsored by the Speedwagon Conglomerate. Jojo, naturally adventurous, wanted in. Dio to, but since he was poor, he's murdered and posed as one of the cosmonauts.
What causes the stands is a shower of debris from a comet, which goes through the atmosphere and become imbued with Cars' power; it strikes most of the inhabitants, killing some, and otherwise injuring others. Stands are also developed by those who study the remnants.
Space Jojo would be awesome.
I liked how Lisa Lisa was his mom and she knew it and didn't say anything when he threatened to pinch her all over her body.
Can you imagine how fabulous space Jojo would be?
He wasn't dead
Dead people who didn't carry over got replaced by similar people. All the people who did carry over were aware of their own fates, including emporio. The reason why it was important for him to continue the cycle was to include everyone both dead and living I think. Like, everyone who died up to that time would be aware of their fates, although they wouldn't be the first time around. I dunno, it wasn't explained well. I dunno why pucci needed to reset the world twice, but that's my guess
Just imagine the arc where Jojo is trapped in the remnants of the crashed seed ship, being prowled by one of the stand users, who has the ability to transform electromagnetic radiation into monsters.
I wonder what appropriate stands would be for the characters?
Maybe Space Jojo's stand (Major Tom) can close the distance between things (Objects and ideas); this is revealed later, and eventually evolved, into a stand that can harness relativity, and all the crazy things that would entail.
As for Space Dio's stand; (Back in Black), he can create miniature black holes; at first it seems he can just make objects disappoint into a singularity. You guys know what happens in the center of a singularity.
Of course, Major Tom will be able to do some weird shit in the center of Dio's final singularity. Cars will have all the powers of humanity's imagined monsters; including Cthullu's madness and the ability to suck brains out of humans or lay eggs in their chests.
The part is called "Shut up and Space Jam. "
Boss stand has to be DSotM
>Dark Side of the Moon.
I wonder what happens when you perform a chaos dunk in the center of a singularity?
So Major Tom would be The Hand 2?
>A fucking rat can find a way to beat someone who can stop time
That rat was the smartest thing to ever exist.
His goal was to eliminate Emporio who was the last obstacle and then reset the world again to make sure that he was gone again or something like that.
Pucci's plan was that everyone still alive in the reborn universe would be able to see there fate coming in advance and to steel themselves against it regardless of what it entailed finding a sort of happiness out of there own resolution.
I think he started accelerating time in order to beat Emporio down once and for all since his stand affects the entire universe.
I still don't get how the reboot universe happened and how that changed past events. I suppose since Jonathan and Dio were dead the universe created a "similar" yet different past to accommodate the existence of the Joestar bloodline, but how the hell did Jolyne and co come back I'll never know.
It was a really smart rat
>>Slowly, mindlessly evolved on the planet until it became a giant living mass
Kars becomes a zerg overmind
Rat did nothing wrong
Pretty much, until he starts using his ability to hyper-age himself into a future self that knows even better how to use his stand, while simultaneously going back in time (Inside Dio's singularity, where the laws of the universe break down, but the heart of a fierce Joestar thrives) to when Cars was a baby, and smashing him into pieces with a relativistic spinning ripple that starts at the beginning of time and ends never. He's trapped in an infinite loop of being baby-smashed; even Cars couldn't imagine how terrible it truly is on the Dark Side of the Moon.
New chapter when?
I flipped my shit man. That was cool, at least for me.
there is no dark side of the moon, matter of fact it's all dark
Jojolion Kira is Jotaro
I thought Part 7 was 1,2,3 and 8 4 5 6. Besides, he isn't nearly sperg enough to be Jotaro.
Did you seriously just create a time traveling offensive Gold Experience Requiem?
what about kyo
Makes too much sense. Rework it and get it back to me.
What if they also had to compete with space programs from other countries?
What if JoJo with Space Opera elements?
>yfw Cars doesn't even realize what's happening; he's just a fucking baby entering a world of infinite smashing pain inside of a singularity
Welcome to the Slam, Cars.
I always wanted to see Kars' reaction to MiH
Planet Cars in destroyed by Jojo closing the distance between the planet and the Sun, killing himself in the process.
an there were giant nigger cockroaches
>Kars is forever traveling space
>The only Pillar man on Earth was Santana
Johnny would have won if Valentine didn't spill the beans on his ability. Tusk could move in the stopped time.
What happens when a human or a vampire uses the stone mask that has the red stone of Aja in it?
He becomes fabulous.
Vampire would become immune to ripple energy
Human would become vampire then become immune to ripple energy
>What if they also had to compete with space programs from other countries?
We could have the stand-wielding future-android of the New Soviet Union save Jojo at the last minute using the glory of Soviet Science; he launches his hand at Cars as he's about to devour Jojo, which is equipped with a mini fission missile.
JoJo will never end, Araki will never end.
It is known, Khaleesi.
Shit, I really hope Araki does a part in space now.
Well, seeing as the new timeline 'skips' Parts 2 and 3 it's possible in the new timeline, but if there's a return to the old it can't be done. Remember the exact words of that ending? "Cars never returned to the Earth..."
Now I just want a Terra Formars/Jojo crossover now
You guys are thinking way too small.
Jojo needs to end, with a climatic battle with a Joestar vs a Brando, after the death of a Zepelli. The two stands have the power to fuse with objects, and as the fight, they fuse with even bigger and bigger objects. Planets into stars into Solar Systems to Galaxies. Then, Brandp fuses with the motherfucking fucking universe, and goes in for the final punch, but Jojo fuses with the Nothingness of the Universe, and collides fists, and both begin a MUDA/ORA contest, with each punch giving birth to a new universe. Then, Jojo fuses with all the Joestars from all universes, and using the Ripple, sends a Universe size punch trhough Brando.
I'll accept no substitutes, besides those written by Araki.
so you want gurren lagan with jojo characters?
No, I want something vastly cooler.
What would Simon's stand be?
>Never returned to earth
Which is why Jojo will go into space.
>each punch giving birth to a new universe
YOU FORGET THE FLESH-MELTING OF AN ENTIRE FAMILY
spiral energy = the spin
Well, compared to the years of poisoning, extermination and racism, I think one family is a small fee.
But Gurren lagann is very cool, and you just described the last episode of it.
That's just not weird enough to end Jojo with, though.
>Each universe contains a different version of Final Jojo and Final Dio punching each other
>It's Jojos all the way down
It would be like TTGL but fabulous
What if it had Cthulu fighting Buddha?
Piloting robot dinosaurs. God I love Getter Robo.
*You Spin Me Right Round
This sounds like Demonbane with JoJo, and that is excellent.
Cthulhu is now just a lulsorandom thing if used in popular fiction these days, anon. Best to keep it to Lovecraft-related stories and nothing more.
Gods fighting Gods is overrated anyway. I'd prefer it if the final battle was just repeating the earlier Parts' ideology of man vs. monster
Scary Monsters, but with the ability to turn metal objects into robotic dinosaurs, would be really fucking cool.
/a/ has sent the most vocal of the Jojo fanbase to /v/. Now if that happened to the Madoka fanbase it'd be swell.
Goddammit i'm enjoying Part 6 now so much
The late parts are really, really good
>that underworld fight
>On Part 8
>Depressed because I'm a few chapters away from being caught up
Don't read fast anon, ehatever you do. You'll regret it.
I agree. I think a more personal battle between the Brando and Joestar line would be a more interesting way to end JJBA than something trying to be as extreme as possible.
only to be saved by Dio who stopped time selectively only to have a final fist fight with JoJo in a time stopped world where only Dio and JoJo are able to move
This thread needs some music.
Jojo in space sounds fucking awesome.
As much as I love over the top crazy shit, and even though I made the Universe Jojo thing, >>100397099 is correct. The finale should be this, to the T.
I like the idea of JoJo in space but I feel like Araki could also do a Vampires vs Stands story
I agree, actually.
I just use any excuse to post that theme, because I love it.
It's too late Anon, i'm going to finish Part 6 tonight
Me too anon. Me too.
Just read Part 7 slow, savour it, don't rush, and get THE FUCK out of this thread. You do not want spoilers for this shit.
Part 7 is absolutely the best part.
So? Stairway to Heaven and the entirety of Part 6 was an excuse to get rid of Hamon/Sendou/Ripple system by rebooting the JoJo universe.
SBR is basically the equivalent to Phantom Blood. If you mean an exact parallel with a very similar story and setting, then no, probably never.
