What did you guys think of the first one?
Is anyone else excited for the second one, and the possibility of a series?
It was wonderful.
It's far too early too start being excited for me though.
Will I like this if Kiki's Delivery Service is one of my favorite Ghiblis?
It gave me faith in the new up and coming studio of trigger.
KLK destroyed that faith
My opinion went from 'Gods of Animation crushing mortals beneath their feet and saving anime' to 'well, these guys are still fucking good'.
It's not like the animation in KlK suffers because of lack of talent, its obviously a manpower and money issue. I'll take cheap animation over poor animation any day.
My opinion went from 'well, they are pretty cool' to 'manchildren without interesting ideas'.
>'manchildren without interesting ideas'.
Manchildren yes, but not interesting?
Yes, over the top action and a plethora of cliches. This is Kill la Kill.
Over the top action and a plethora of cliches can be interesting. I'm holding off my judgment until the series is over.
>watch LWA a month ago
>watch Tai Arusu as a substitute
Damn it, it's not the same.
So how long until the second one.
This year I think?
is Tai Arusu still worth watching?
i believe late this year
The art style is really unique and the whole atmosphere is creepy. I'm halfway through and it's pretty good for a magic anime.
Then I'll give it a chance. Thank you
I think it's funny LWA 2 was on that List of Reasons Not to Kill Yourself in 2014. I also reckon this should be made into a movie instead of a series.
You realize LWA and KLK have totally different writers/directors etc?
What are they going to do after Kill la Kill besides LWA?
live action inferno cop movie, where everyone is played by real actors, except for inferno cop is still his 'cardboard cutout' self, and wont have any animations
Animation studios don't make live action movies.
Something stupid or amazing or both.
/r/ing Sucy images and also that .gif of the blonde girl wiggling around excited in her seat.
it's a good thing trigger doesn't do enough animating in their shows to be considered an animation studio then
They are too busy drawing their waifus.
Little Witch Academia was the most feminist anime I have seen, and whenever I show fedora-wearing dudebros it, they recoil in horror and their penis shrivels because watching girls do awesome shit(Like they always do) is too much for their primate phallic-envoloped minds. Based trigger is so based!
what does that mean?
Loved, so much I put 60 dollars on the kickstarter for the first time.
This, Inferno Cop and Kill la Kill makes Trigger tops.
I just watched all of inferno cop and little witch today. I have to say trigger is definitely my favourite animation studio
Thank fucking god!
Mfw dozens of anons gave $200 or more to Trigger hoping for LWA2, but instead it went to the 'animation' on KLK.
>possibility of a series
Please no. It's fucking awful what they're doing with KlK and them taking this for a season project would ruin it.
Wait, when did Disney license an anime version of Cinderella? Why did nobody tell me about this??!
I guess it is kind of disney-esc, but I don't see the comparisons with cinderella
So /a/ how many of you actually bought the LWA blu ray?
I still need to buy it
