"Where is Kaku?" Edition
Old thread: >>100331475
What the fuck, that wasn't my image
this is not the kaku we're looking for.
but i think she found a kaku better than kakku
Why doesn't Oda show Sabo's face already
We will see his face when Burgess knocks his helmet off
Because Sabo lost his face.
Probably horribly deformed from the explosions
rip hoverhand barto
what the fuck happened
It somehow changed to porn originally
Luffy wouldn't have recognized him
Because sabo is kaku
So this isn't accurate?
Will Barto and Sabo be cooperating? They seem to be acting like bros so far.
I'm guessing Barto still doesn't know who Sabo is since he's not gobbling his semen.
>We can no longer say that every new character is Sabo
It's a "what if", so no.
Lucy is Sabo
Bullshit. Lucy is Lucci, just look at the names.
>tfw no fem apoo
>luffy goes gear third
>don chinjao flies at him
>the clash of two titans
>a short silence
>don chinjao's head flies away
>inside is sabo
>sabo breaks apart
>inside is akainu
Half of those don't make any sense.
Post your theories /a/ on everything and anything one piece related!
Angel devil fruit.
>Blackbeard's devil fruit and why he can have two
His fruit obviously let's him gain overpowers. Would go well with it's "void" ability.
Blackbeard is probs the most powerful pirate at this time , other than Shanks/Pika Pika
>Next member of the crew to join
Jinbe I assume as helmsman
>Who will get the Ace's fruit
While I really want anyone else to get the fruit, it seems more likely that Jesus will get it. It builds them up as enemies more, and quite honestly, Jesus hasn't done anything bad. This will give them a reason to face him later. Blackbeard is getting hyped up, and this will be the last straw
Welcome to One Piece threads
This nigger is literally all of my fetishes. What the fuck, Japan? How did you get it so perfectly?
>the last straw
It probably is how he draws the fruit in but it would be nonsensical for the devil fruit to allow him to keep more than one since it is still one.
Posted this in the last thread, but it 404'd before I could find a response. Does anyone know the name of the piece of music in the bulk of this clip?
Tried looking all over youtube, found tons of OP anime songs but never found this or it's name.
I posted a shazam result and hoped anyone would understand moon speak
Look at Luffy's chest and Ace's tattoo.
>go down on FemApoo
>suddenly playing the tuba
>this happens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvyAqL3H4Js
Being Law is suffering.
Look at the lack of showing Sabo's face
I know it's a what-if, but I'm pretty sure that Oda did it on purpose
Bellamy is the one truly suffering
Will Kin'emon and his kid join the crew? Or at least the kid , he has a fucking dragon paramecia. Cabin boy perhaps?
>tfw the big family is gonna die soon
Nothing lasts forever.
Doflamingo confirmed him as the Kinemon as a strawhat on the newest chapter, does get more real than that
I like to imagine that, if Sabo were still alive canonly, he would be a Zoan DF user. Completes the DF type trio.
Question is, what would the animal be?
I'm dying for some ADVENTURE and was thinking about starting One Piece, but because I'm a lazy piece of shit who just wants something to watch while relaxing it'd have to be the anime, which I've heard a lot of negative things about. Is that in comparison to the manga or is it unwatchable? Is there any filler I should skip?
>The Big Family
You mean Doflamingo's, right?
He'll probs die and they'll adopt the kid and at the end of the series he'll be shown as the new captain with his own crew or some shit. >>100387846
Well it'd have to be something mid-tier to be on the same level so maybe some sort of jungle cat?
That second part of the chapter was all about "Doflamingo doesn't know jackshit about what is going on". He still thinks that Usopp is Sogeking
Well that too.
>Usopp is Sogeking
Bullshit. Everyone knows that Sabo is Sogeking.
Fuck you and read the manga if you are interested. Watch your favorite moments if you want, but don't watch the whole thing. The pacing is fucking awful and the animation is getting shittier and shittier
Just watch the anime, these guys just complain about it because they are elitist about their manga.
But their complaints are understandable, the problems that they don't like occur mainly once the second half of the story starts, where the animators have become lazy and draw the characters retardedly, another complaint is the pacing of episodes, because they now do 1 episode = 1 chapter, they have to stretch out scenes or put in little filler scenes that can seem to just drag on. It does make some fights better but when they make a phone ring for a solid 2 minutes then it gets annoying.
Sabo has a shapeshifting and clone fruit
Everyone is Sabo
Anime is fine up until it switches to a 1-chapter-per-episode pace in EL/W7. Even then the content is enjoyable enough to make up for it. After that saga is over it is a downward spiral. The last two (maybe three depending on who you are, I dislike anime MF greatly) arcs are damn near unwatchable.
G-8 is the only good filler in the anime.
In short manga is better.
Actually read the first chapter because for some reason the anime skips parts of it. Read a bit more and watch an episode and just decide for yourself. Most people get hooked roughly 30 episodes in so it may take some time.
see a doctor, looks like tourette's to me
>mfw we'll never see Jonathon again
He was the chillest VA the WG's ever had.
Anime is fine up until about the halfway mark somewhere. Except the first arc is kind of boring either way imho.
>G-8 is the only good filler in the anime
>not including Davey Back Fight II: Electric Fehaloo
I hope all your nakama die in a fire.
Domination fetishes are exceptionally popular, conglaturation.
>implying I watched anime Davy Back
I missed that due to be distracted by a youtube clip of a bear eating someone's hand. Care to post it again?
What was Toei thinking?
Marguerite best girl.
>be a shonen
>only 12 percent of readers are under 19
>Mind/Body Control on top of regular domination.
>Turning people into animals (and then fucking them)
>Dressing up some of them in girly clothes, even males (and then fucking them)
This isn't a coincidence. It's a conspiracy.
Think about how old the people who started reading OP when it first was published are.
>Law chained to the heart seat
Who's ready for a flashback?
>watching filler episode of an already filler arc
Does anyone have that image of Barto taking a picture of Luffy with Hoverhand?
I posted it at the start of the thread but it got replaced by porn
You're just a developed case. We can't help you here, son.
Not my fault if it's a Tumblr image
Not only was I slower, but my picture is smaller and I couldn't have dubs. My life is a failure ;___;
>next nakama will never be a flatchested tomboy with a great ass
If you were 16 when One Piece was first released, you'd be 33 now, over double that age.
If you were 10 when One Piece was first released, you'd be 27 now, nearly thrice that age.
Most people here are decidedly younger than that.
Huh, nice. If I could find the website that came from, I could just copy-paste the spigot m'kachenese into google translate.
Yep, kill yourself.
I too lament the decay of modern society, we have gotten to the point where the majority of adults are stupid enough to be genuinely entertained by media for children. Shonen doesn't mean "for children", though.
IMO Sabo(and Koala, Hacks cool too) are the best part of this arc, but what do you guys think about the other warriors? I personally love their diverse designs and abilities, Cavendish and Ideo especially. Fuck I even like the goofy Funk Brothers dynamic. But once they're all untoyafied I have no doubt they will assist in the defeat of Doffy/Marines, and I'm fairly confident they will all become the Strawhats first division/s. Thank God, cuz after that anyone can join and we wont have ___ for next nakama BS over and over.
Anyway whos your favorite new character out of the Gladiators. Barts an easy one but I really like the Flower country guys for some reason, fighting with sound is cool, was pissed when Sai was toyified, something about that power makes me uncomfortable.
I don't need any kind of help, and I wasn't looking for it. I was just admiring the uncanny similarities. >:^)
The fuck happened to Capone's ship? Enel? Kid?
>not able to parse humour
It's the autism you need help for now.
Capone and Enel are both in the big list of thing Oda is saving up for shenanigans in the future. Kid was seen pretty recently, declaring a war on Kaidou and all that.
The second he finds out they'll work together, this works well because it will show that it takes 2 to defeat Jesus, showing his strength, while still being able to showcase Sabo's strength and make Bart even more bro tier if that's possible. But unfortunately some bullshit might make Becca win
I really like Cavendish after this chapter
>yfw Blackbeard has a massive boat
>yfw he killed Capone and gave his fruit to Juan
>yfw Juan releases battleships, sea kings and giants from his body in battle
So what is Hakuba's purpose gonna be after this?
Inb4 neither Robin or Usopp can beat Trebol and Kuro Cabbage busts out of the toy pit.
Yada yada yada,... ehum... Buggy D God...
mite b cool
It annoys me how the Yami Yami fruit has gravity + storage powers yet those are the powers of two other fruits.
Wait wait, I just remembered Luffy used some Gomu Gomu powers as Lucy. The motherfuckers is legendary at this point, everyone knows about him and only what 4 dudes picked up on who he was? Off the top of my head two were invested in knowing who he was (Don and Bart) and two know him (Bellamy and Sabo) But come on, strechy small dude with incredible power and black hair and a clearly fake white beard, not to mention two signature scares. Someone must have picked up on this
So Bellamy is joining Bart's crew, right?
Bellamy couldn't fit into a role in the Straw Hats
That shitter can make way for the true pirate king
A fight with pic related
What makes you think they'll be tag-teaming in an actual match? From what we can see, it's mostly likely either the four champions will each go against a Doflamingo Family officer, with the winners squaring off for the right to challenge Diamante, OR it's a free-for-all sort-of affair.
Becomes a toy, Cabbage laments about how none can remember him, ends up falling asleep due to narcolepsy, and Hakuba ends up taking down a lot of the guards on the inside due to coincidence.
He ends up scaring Sugar into fainting, but Cabbage wakes up and feels in some way that he was cheated out of his infamy and fame once more somehow.
Yeah, that bothered me as well. What with it's third power, fruit cancellation, being basically doable via Haki and seastone, there really isn't much that special about the Yami Yami.
>people think bb is weak
>scars shank's *yonko tier* eye
>almost breaks ace's *admiral tier* neck
>kills white beard
>fights off sengoku and garp
You're forgetting this is One Piece, where improbably shite disguises work improbably well 24/7.
Who thinks BB is weak?
The officers are all heading towards Franky right now. Jesus mentioned that it was time for the final. I think it'll be the four block winners and Diamante in a battle royale.
Yeah I think Oda fucked up with it's design. Cool idea but terrible execution.
>inb4 b-but it's still good because he can steal other powers with it
Man. The days when the crew could just lean against a fence, looking like ordinary people, with a group of awkwards kids standing not too far away and a Michael Jackson Cosplayer with a funky beard was considered pretty strange.
Absolutely no one has ever said that Teach is weak you fucking plebeian.
people also think he cant use haki
I suppose if the format's change since the tournament opened, which I think Doffy mentioned at some point. If that's the case, then this should get pretty interesting pretty fast. I'd expect a Yonkou fleet commander to outdo an admittedly-powerful shichibukai's not-even right hand man on his own, but we'll see.
Completely agree. Also, giving the storage ability to Caribou was just unnecessary, and went outside the realms of Logia-powers into paramecia stuff (oh yeah, and there's also a paramecia who's ENTIRE ability is storing things as well, eff eff ess)
Speaking of Teach though , his mention of sky island in the impel down arc and Laffite having wings has made me think that the Blackbeard crew now have Enel's devil fruit. If so , who do you think would be the best match for it?
Uh, what? Enel is on the moon, m8
Not even once anon, come on. They're worse than the people who though Kaido was Meadows.
Not one part of that made sense.
And? It's one of the best Logia so Teach would surely seek it out. Plus i'm sure Laffite could fly up to the moon somehow once they figured out where he'd gone.
>Teach visits sky island to rape and pillage
>Hears about a guy who could control lightning
>Woah that sounds like the type of fruit I could cause havoc with , where's this dude now?
>Dunno but I heard he flew off to the moon
>Aight , Laffite you have wings so figure out some way to fly up there
People actually think he doesn't have haki, how retarded could you get. After all this hype if Oda did not give Blackbeard haki he is doing it wrong.
Right, because a guy with wings can fly in fucking space.
Enel's special, he doesn't count.
>Even Don Krieg can kill him
Might be possible, seeing as he's stronger than jozu
its "three towers"
When was Don Krieg strong than Jozu
this actually seems pretty good
goes to show how dedicated the jap fanbase is to see the ending of a manga they started reading years ago
At least he didn't make preposterous claims like Jozu being able to kill Blackbeard
*Looks up from under fedora*
"Does a Game Boy lie at the end of the road of the darkness?"
*Flips out cape, revealing a katana*
"Yo white boy I said gimme da Game Boy, dis ain't Chinatown"
"What this place is will no longer matter soon enough..."
*Begins to slowly unsheathe katana*
"For you will soon be in Hell, oh foolish primate."
*Prepares to perform the Suteki no Morenatsu slash*
"Cracka the fuck you doin', Imma fuck you up if-"
*In a flash of black light, teleport behind him, cape blowing in the wind*
*I tip my fedora and my eye glistens, and the black separates into thirteen pieces and showers the area with blood*
>cum too early
YFW Bart will never join because Zoro has green hair ;_;, don't bring up black hair you're allowed to have multiple of those. Cavendish is fucked too fuck you Sanji.
I laughed more than I should have
Well, come on. Enel can fly with his fruit, why did he need the Maxim? And Enel's DF is the only reason he can breath in space, so Lafitte's goosed on that front as well.
*THANK* you! What's the name a reference to?
bellamy's going to be the next op to kick it anon
>this chapter calls Kinemon a straw-hat
We're gonna have so many crew-members after this arc it's not even funny.
Because he thought of himself as a Rap God, and wanted to Ark is way to the Moon.
You sure he can't make himself a space suit somehow? Weirder things have happened.
Nah I think Viola might join as she actually has a reason to leave Dressrosa.
Also you forgot the three eyed chick with big tits in Big Mom's crew.
Wait a minute so Bart, Sabo, and Rebecca are obviously going to team up...how strong can Jesus really be?
Also you know Sabo is going to win, and Luffy will tell him to give it to Rebecca, and then she'll join the Strawhats.
You know it's going to happen. Along with Law surviving, Kinemon going back to his home, and Bart stalking Luffy on a rowboat.
>Rebecca, Bart, Kinemon, Viola, and Sabo all join the crew
>Monet is still dead
Law I love you man...but damn...;_;
Rebecca joining is fucking dumb and hope Oda doesn't do that.
She has a dream... to live stay with Toy Soldier in Dressrosa. Even if TS dies, leaving Dressrosa would basically be dishonoring him by shitting on everything he fought for. There's no fucking reason for the bitch whorebecca to join.
Viola on the other hand. She's a princess but she's been a pirate for 10 years and probably might be chased by the government for helping to overthrow a warlord and celestial dragon. Being wanted by the government was enough for Jinbe to leave FI and for his crew to come out of retirement.
Man, you can just see where this is heading at times
>Donfla- "Gyahaha, Strawhat it looks like this is the end for you. You're still stuck in the tournament with no hope of beating Diamante at this rate. Of course a third rate like you never had a chance. Just look at him Law, the man you pinned all your hopes in has no chance anymore of saving anyone"
>Lucy's helmet flies off to reveal Sabo in a big turnaround moment
>Donfla - "Wha?"
>Soldier - "Sir, we have reports that the factory is under siege. All main systems are already lost within the last hour, Sugar was taken out, most of the family has already been wiped out, the factory entrance was broken down by Cyborg Franky, and it seems the one leading the charge was.. Luffy. The only one still remaining are Diamante and Bellamy."
You just know it's been set up so that everything is going to come crashing down on him at the same time as he's just sitting up there thinking himself untouchable. He's a guy who thinks he has all the cards, yet he doesn't realize that three of them have already been lost even now as he brags about it. The guy who controls everything like puppets, yet in the end not on puppet danced to the correct tune.
when will strawhats get a second division?
Because TS will tell her to go, to escape the bloody past of Dressrosa, she also has a bad past, and will get the Mera Mera no Mi.
Also I expect this to happen honestly. >>100394035
>tfw Law has been playing dead all along by using his DF
>tfw Law delivers the killing blow to Donfla when he's about to shitstomp Luffy
>tfw Law is even more overpowered than we thought
>implying the heart pirates aren't the 2nd division
They wont. Law is the Whitebeard to Luffy's Roger.
It's called The Heart Pirates.
She's not joining. There's no damn way this arc will finish without Dressrosa being returned to the Riku's (or at least Doflamingo kicked out). Rebecca is going to stay.
That's what we all think Anon, but Kubo will be brought on board for maximum trolling.
those are alliances im talking about a second crew under tha flag of strawhat pirates with their commander
Yeah, it'll be the heart pirates, they'll just straight up join the strawhats at this rate.
I wonder if Law actually plans to have them do something and all the talk to Dofla about having no intentions of going after Kaidou was a lie, or if Law just didn't want them to see him commit suicide.
>Chinjao & friends
>Violet or Rebecca (whichever one doesn't stay behind in Dressrosa)
And Kinemon becomes nakama after Wano, and Jimbe comes in to save the day and beat Big Mom
It won't happen. The crew is always going to be small and anyone who thinks they're going to get a giant fucking fleet is an idiot.
They'll have a lot of allies at the end of the series, like the kingdoms of Alabasta and Fishman Island, Galley-La and the Franky Family, the Heart Pirates and all those guys they hung out with over the timeskip, but that's it.
Nah it was pretty clear that they're working towards beating Kaido. As Doflamingo pointed out, Law just said that stuff to stall for time.
>sea stone doesn't work on alvida because it's effects slide off.
>As Doflamingo pointed out, Law just said that stuff to stall for time.
No he didn't.
Dofla surmised that Law's plan to fight and distract him was to stall time for the SHs to take out the factory. He then guessed that Law's strategy was to get Kaido angry so that Dofla would die even if Traffy didn't manage to kill him. Law said that assumption was correct. Maybe Law was lying but Dofla doesn't believe he is.
The hoverhand really makes this image.
whats the worst arc
and why is it Skypiea
Davy Fight Back if it counts as an arc. Also, bait harder next time
I've been stuck on skypiea for months. I can't bring my self to read it very often.
Because it was Fishman Island
Skypiea was the One Piecest arc
>Really exotic island
>Nice fights (only arc whre Robin has a serious 1 vs 1 fight)
>Backstory filled with feels
>Update on poneglyphs
So just how powerful are Brook , Nami , Robin and Chopper compared to the rest of the one piece universe? I had always thought that the Strawhat crew were top tier but thinking about it now it's only really Zoro , Franky , Sanji and Luffy that have reached basically legendary status so far.
>Backstory filled with feels
>He said "feels"! Haha, what a looser!!
Okay then, the backstory had many emotional moments and you could understand Norland's struggle.
Not that anon, but that does sound better.
What the fuck are you talking about? He was always canon stronger
I felt a twitch of PTSD.
Winner of the D block without just dumb luck. /a/udience, what say you?
>Watching the episode about Luffy helping a little girl find her old, blind Sea Horse.
Used to be I could watch these kinds of episodes and be completely unphased. Damn dogs and their short lifespans.
How do we know she's not Sabo in disquise?
I always felt they as a crew were weak but had the 'I CAN'T GIVE UP' charisma. Nami and Chopper are shit, I can't describe my disappointment in monster point. Everyone else is pretty damn strong but plot stops anyone except the monster quadro+Ussop from having many shining moments, the weaklings just have very important ship value. Also I'd put Brook as 5th strongest he's been great since the TS. Shit Kinemon is probably as strong as Sanji.
I like imagining the whole pre TS crew facing one of the post timeskip crew, what would happen if the Arlong arc SH crew faced off against just Franky or Brook post TS for example
Out of curiosity did people claim Bart just had dumb luck? I think their circumstances are very similar.
>Bart spends 95% of the fight lounging at the side
>Only hurt Hack for interrupting his pissing session
>Punishing Bellamy is acceptable
>Suddenly Elizabello takes everyone on the floor out
>Bart wins because of his DF
>Becky isn't as cool but she's actually putting in some effort
>Suddenly Dark Cabbage awakens and takes everyone on the floor out
>Becky wins because she's spent her time mastering evasion and speed
Bart chose to, Rebecca didn't.
No, he's just a massive troll. But otherwise yes their circumstances were kind of similar, even the audience hated both of them.
>Bart chose to
...Chose to what?
Kinemon is pretty beast. I mean he was able to push back Brook with his torso alone. I think he's probably pretty similar in terms of strength to Zoro.
Brook is probably 5th strongest with Franky ahead of him. Robin could probably be pretty strong too but she only gets fodder fights and grunt management.
There was a bit of skill as Sabo noted that she was the only one to just barely see Hakuba's image in that split second and dodge just an inch away from it being a knockout hit. It was still a lot of luck on her part, and she couldn't stand up to something like that in a real fight, but since she spent all of her stat points in Evasion she was able to hold out in that one moment.
I am that anon, and That does sound better
>Not knowing Jozu is weaker than Don Krieg
Jeez come on man
Screw around. If Rebecca had Bart's abilities do you think she wouldn't just knock everyone out of the arena before they knew his powers?
Still couldn't even react to Luffy, let alone dodge him.
>Skypiea was the One Piecest arc
And agreed. I loved Skypiea. It was by far the most enjoyable arc for me. I absolutely loved the way Oda tied up every single loose end by the end of it (spread related). I mean when the other half of Cricket's house was shown covered in moss, it was the beginning of a fucking awesome ride. In my opinion, there hasn't been a single arc as good as Skypiea and there probably won't be.
And that isn't to say that the other arcs are bad or unenjoyable or future arcs will be shit. I've really liked pretty much all of One Piece. It's probably the reason I've reread it so many fucking times.
She wasn't trying seriously, or closed her eyes in the crucial moment as she thought it was over and couldn't watch.
Well I get Bart's a troll. I don't see how that affects things.
Becky wasn't breezing through the tournament exactly, and while Bart felt comfortable with his hax DF he was clearly worried when Bellamy found a way around his defense and was only saved by the punch.
It's weird, I feel like Kinemon was built up to be a SH or atleast a Vivi and out of nowhere he kind of got forgotten and bland, he's just there. I mean he's strong and has what I can only assume is a mythical zoan that is useful as the ship's tailor/disguise master. I feel as though his son fucked everything up. I find myself forgetting where the fuck he is every few chapters. Most people are against it but I wouldn't mind the one sword(ICE) two sword(FIRE) and three sword(WIND)
P.S. I'm always a huge fan of costume change in shounen rather than 'this clothing is part of the character', I don't watch the anime so I don't have the privilege of pre TS Luffy's vests changing color.
Why would a character with a kid even be potentially a part of the crew?
I did say the kid ruined him. Also members have been known to drop family members/crewmates to join.
Anyone get the feel that everytime Oda has to keep Nami relevant when it's not navigation related he's regretting creating this character?
Pretty sure the only reason Kinemon was on Punk Hazard was so he could get Momo back. I don't think he will abandon him for the Strawhats.
Perona should join, she is at least slightly less boobalicious than the others and doesn't dress like a slut
His son was the first fucking thing he mentioned.
It's Oda's fault for making such terrible female characters. Nami and Robina aren't good for anything besides fanservice.
>Implying Kinemon is Momo's real father
Navigator and essentially a witch, and the one that pieces together the hidden story.
Oda wrote Skypiea to distract readers while he developed Water 7. It's like canon filler.
Just skip it. Nothing important happens.
Skypiea and FI arc are largely disliked yet so far the most referenced in important story points.
Also the three shadows after Thriller Bark are shown as a statue on Skypiea or Mock town, don't remember, Don't be surprised if we see them by the end of this arc. Skypiea and Noland have been brought up way too much for this not to be true.
What are you talking about? Skypiea and Fishman Island have almost no connection to other arcs. Almost nothing would change if you cut them completely.
You serious? There is nothing wrong with Skypiea. Are you all hating on it because it's not happening in your precious blue sea?
>People constantly shit on Skypeia and the Davy Back Fight, yet they're my two favorite arcs alongside Jaya.
>Marineford is often praised as the best and I found it really mediocre since it revolved around dozens of characters that were just introduced, giving me no reason to get emotionally attached to them.
Fishman Island is still shit though.
>Ponelglyphs or whatever
>Ancient races documented on the moon
The list goes on and on
Never said I dislike it, people just bitch
I'm surprised Doflamingo is so easy-going. Even if we're to stick strictly to the four Strawhats he singled out... one of them is Zoro. Yes, Doflamingo could probably take him out, but that's still a pretty shitty person to have running around. To suggest he will just be another piece to be taken out just like Usopp or Robin is sort of dumb. Dude's a tank.
Also, couldn't Luffy have escaped the Colosseum by entering the ring, stretching his arms to the upper stands and performing a Gum Gum Rocket? ...It's not like Luffy has to escape via the front door; it's a colosseum for Christ's sake.
Oda's writing is crummy these days. This arc is extremely flawed.
>entering the ring, stretching his arms to the upper stands and performing a Gum Gum Rocket
Yeah, way to not reveal who you are. But eh, I guess the marines already guessed he is here (based on the fact they saw a bunch of straw hats already)
Luffy clearly wanted to kick Doflamingo's shit in after he saw him shoot Law. I highly doubt Luffy would care about his identity being revealed if it means he could save his friend. At that moment he realized that his friends were in danger, so of course he would have done something drastic like that if he needed to.
Barto wouldn't leave his new pal behind, r-right?
>assuming Luffy is smart enough to think about that
Non-fighting Luffy = Dumb
Keep in mind the characters in this manga haven't read it and don't see all the behind the scenes stuff like we do. Plenty of people have figured them out. Marines sort of have there hands tide a bit due to the whole Shichi and nobility thing Dof's got going on, Dof says no marines in the tourney.
I think this arc is actually pretty damn good, especially when you consider what preceded it (Punk Hazard and Fishman Island - yikes). I do think that the writing would benefit a lot from Oda toning it down a bit.
I'm interested in the whole Sabo thing and really really interested in Big Mom's ship, but I feel like he could have left some of these things out. The arc has way too many players right now. In a sense, that's actually why it's so fun: total chaos. But it would have been nice if we could have eliminated a few characters in order to further develop the more central contenders and their motivations.
Bellamy left with Luffy, no doubt in my mind, he'll end up part of the SH alliance
I don't know, man. He was basically in fighting mode the second he saw Law get trounced. Plus, he's used Gum Gum Rocket in similar situations; it wouldn't be out of character.
Didn't he use Rocket to launch himself off the sea-train back in Water 7, explicitly so he could kick as many marine asses as possible before the others could catch up?
I thought this at first but I think hes doing great at making me interested in all of this. My only gripe is the lack of screentime the gladiators get, I love all of these new characters
Are you full of shit or what? Seriously all you horse fuckers still can't read manga properly.
Go read chapter 720 again and again, because clearly once isn't enough for you.
>POWER MANGA CHAPTER 720
>Rebecca hesitates (page 15 )
>Prisoners encourage her (page 15)
>Rebecca's face changes to determination (page 15)
>Rebecca stabs Luffy (page 16)
>Luffy dodges (page 16)
>Rebecca swings at Luffy (page 16)
>Luffy dodges and stomps on Rebecca's arms (page 16-17)
Nowhere was she not trying once she made up her mind, nowhere did she close her eyes, all of that is in your head.
Shut up for once and accept the truth before your eyes.
I really want Barto and Bellamy to have to fight together against someone this arc, their powers seem like they could have fun synergy
Barto making barrier-walls for Bellamy to bounce off of
Too bad it's almost inevitable that Barto will get one-shotted by Burgess in the finals through his barrier to show off how OP Burgess has gotten.
Will Oda ever make a good female character?
Just like Bart was clearly worried Hack was gonna hit him right?
>Can make barriers move to knock people around
>Scared because a half-dead guy manages to grab onto him
You guys misinterpret every time people start making shocked faces. It's pathetic. Next you'll claim Luffy had a hard time against Don Chinjao because he whined like he does even against fodder.
What's wrong with Perona?
Oh, don't get me wrong. I definitely like it. It's just that this is a problem in general with the series. Way too many characters. Almost all of the Strawhats save Franky and Luffy have become husks, pale imitations of their characters. They're these weird flanderized versions of who they actually are, precisely because the crew's too big. It's become so big that actual, real character interaction and development is sidelined. Sorta sucks. It's a lot more apparent in a more tame arc (it's being disguised here by all the crazy shit), but it was quite clear during Punk Hazard and Fishman island.
>ignoring the fact that Luffy said she didn't truly have the intention of killing her
fund this co-op fight
She's bland and forgettable.
Koala would like a word
She has a distinct personality, so I wouldn't call her bland. Being forgettable would be up to the reader I suppose.
How does that affect her ability to REACT?
Oh shit I can't attack someone, MUST MEAN I CAN'T DEFEND MYSELF.
Do you even have any experience with your motor controls other than typing with your keyboard you armchair athlete?
Are you saying that Don Chinjao was fodder tier?
Luffy had to get a little more serious and it's not like Don Chinjao was at full strength (pointy head is way stronger). Luffy also hit his weak spot
Why does this even matter? Hakuba is Cavendish's power up and assumed full power.
Luffy managed his feat while eating lunch completely not giving a fuck.
Do you really think Hakuba is Luffy tier when Luffy goes all out?
Full of shit.
I don't even know what this debate is about (I just read your post) and I was only pointing the fact that Luffy stated she wasn't really trying. Also, she said that she accepted her punishment. So yeah, she didn't really try to dodge either. By the way, you should think about maybe calming down.
Don Chinjao was fodder to Luffy when he lacked his head spike. This is not up for debate.
Go back and look over every single fight for Luffy in the history of One Piece. It's a common shonen trait.
If the opponent is strong, Luffy will start breathing ragged. This is very evident with Croc, Lucci, Moria/Oz, Pacifista, Impel Down, Marineford, etc.
Guess what Luffy has never done in his fight against Don Chinjao? Get tired. A fucking sweat drop doesn't mean you are tired.
Well, maybe for you, but for those of us who exercise regularly, this is common sense. Luffy wasn't even breathing hard against Chinjao. He only whined about it after the match because he's a whiner to begin with and was making excuses to Cavendish.
The guy spit in his hands and caught Cavendish bare handed. You think he can do that to Zoro even when Zoro's only at base?
> snake comes out of akainu's mouth
> snake opens mouth, it's orochimaru
Caps lock is needed to get through to Hakubafags, because they don't understand common sense.
Rebecca didn't accept her punishment until she was grounded. So that has nothing to do with it. Stop bringing up useless shit into this.
The dimmed eyes tend to be those of hesitation, depression, or anger, not determination, ie Bellamy being told to assassinate Luffy or finding out Doflamingo ordered him to be killed too.
Yeah, and we are totally sure that Rebecca was at full power too.
That debate is pointless because no one knows how strong Hakuba, Rebecca and Luffy are. It's obvious that Rebecca is the weakest and Luffy the strongest, but we don't know the scale.
Rebecca was caught off guard and even after standing up, she was still confused about what the fuck happened. Hakuba's apparition was short, so we don't know what he can really do. And Luffy didn't sweat one time since the timeskip.
Oh, come on. A truly determined person would still be trying to fight even after being stomped. You saw rebecca fighting twice and Habuka once and now you think you know everything about their abilities. You guys would say that Luffy has no chance of beating Crocodile after seeing their first fight. But that's not the point. You're right about the power levels, but for the wrong reasons. The only persons Rebecca would truly have the guts to hurt is the Donquixote family
is senor pink suggesting he is into milfs. is this guy a diaper fetish guy...
And she cleared it when she started attacking. Does she retain those dimmed eyes as she fights? No. Is her face strained in any way once she actually attacks? No.
Go and read One Piece again, read the fights where people who were hesitating while fighting and restraining themselves. Look at their faces as they fight. Compare them to Rebecca.
And none of this changes the fact that Luffy wasn't trying. Are you claiming Hakuba still has 2 tiers left of upgrades set aside?
It's still dim in the next page too, though you'll have to wait a minute if you need me to load it for you since your memory is poor.
Page 16, bottom right panel
Yeah, big determination. And don't just analyze what is happening during the fight, but also after and before.
Not sure what your last sentence is supposed to mean, who's saying what about Hakuba?
It doesn't matter because what I am determining is not her ATTACK but her DEFENSE.
Think for a minute okay?
>You are in a death match
>You have a gun
>Someone else has a gun
>You hesitate to shoot that person
>That person aims his gun at you
>You now have two choices, to shoot, or to dodge and you already don't want to shoot
>You now hesitate to dodge?
Is this your message? /a/ #1 motor control.
Wow, by your fucking logic a UFC fighter is a complete savage before and after he fight in the ring.
Today I met a complete shut out online.
You are assuming that Luffy was going to harm Rebecca
How does that matter to Rebecca? Are you saying she saw through Luffy and knew he wasn't going to kill her? That's clearly why she readied herself for punishment right?
Rebecca treated Luffy as an opponent, and Luffy completely blitzed her. This is a fact.
Rebecca was blitzed by Hakuba, and she managed to dodge. This is a fact.
Regardless of outlying parameters, Hakuba can never be Luffy tier.
>Rebecca never tries to kill someone
>She never even attacks in fights
>The only time she was shown attacking was against luffy wich she didn't want
>OMG SHE IS SO WEAK
She bases her whole fighting style around dodging, so her not beeing able to dodge hakuba would have made her complete shitter tier. And someone like that wont become a nakama at this point in the manga.
Rebecca obviously had mix feelings about hurting Luffy. Deep down she was fine with Luffy punishing her. The Riku family was dishonored because "the king" hurt citizens and her father taught her to fight without hurting. That's her whole philosophy. And that defense crap doesn't hold because Luffy wasn't going to hurt her. How did she know that? For the same reasons Luffy knew she wasn't really trying: it's part of CoO.
I don't know who is the fag who said that Hakuba is Luffy tier, but it's not me. I just jumped in the middle of the debate to say that Rebecca still has more to show.
Well Sanji bases his whole style around kicking, and lost twice, time to kick him out I guess.
It takes pretty high CoO affinity to sense emotions, not saying she doesn't have it, but given she asked Luffy why he wasn't going to punish her, I don't think she can sense it that keenly yet.
Are you implying that this wont actually happen?
>It takes pretty high CoO affinity to sense emotions
Yeah, we don't really know that. Also, sensing killing intentions is more or less basic in shonen. Anyway, Rebecca is pretty good at observation haki.
>but given she asked Luffy why he wasn't going to punish her, I don't think she can sense it that keenly yet
But this stuff only works in a fight or when someone is about to throw a punch. It's not about reading emotions, it's about reading the body language. Again, I'm assuming stuff, but I think those are fair assumptions since it's recurrent in shonen and it's even a thing in real life.
>Hakuba uses a rapier to slash everyone
Hope that's the explanation for why everyone survives. The edge is for cutting, the tip is for killing.
> but given she asked Luffy why he wasn't going to punish her
No, she wanted to know WHY. She already knew he wasn't going to punish her. She just couldn't get her head around the why.
>cutting cant kill people
>Efficient at cutting
We've only seen Otohime really make use of it.
Oh yeah, I forgot about her. She has top tier observation haki (except when she is emotionally troubled)
Define "good", I don't see how Vivi or Robin aren't what I see as "good" characters.
Well the monster quartet are doubtlessly all capble of OHKOing a pacifista, and the SH crew in its entirety could barely beat a pacifista at the end of part 1.
I think pretty much anyone post timeskip could beat the Arlong Arc SH crew. The monster quartet would stomp, obviously. Brook is probably too fast for them. Alabasta arc Robin was shown to be capable of disabling Luffy and Zoro so post timeskip Robin could certainly beat Arlong Arc SHs. Monster Point chopper would beat them too.
Usopp and Nami are questionable. I'm not sure either of them are fast enough to defend against Arlong Arc Luffy/Zoro. Nami is slow as fuck and is pretty much still a bottom tier pirate despite her amazing potential for offense. I doubt she'd even beat Arlong let alone the Arlong Arc strawhats. Usopp might have some plants that could make life difficult but we haven't really seen a great deal from him yet. I think Usopp could make the crew struggle but he'd ultimately lose.
I fenced, and if you use it right it is extremely efficient at it. My fencing master said I inflicted more cuts with the rapier than the sabre fencers were.
I would be totally fine with Aphelandra, Keimi, Whitey Bay, Perona, Madam Shirley, Marguerite, or Monet joining provided they had become important in their arcs because they're all pretty fucking UNF.
Speaking of UNF, Hancock is literally uglier than Sandersonia.
That dude probably forgot you can "cut" people with a whip. And yea, rapiers can be a fucking bitch.
>Dat voice acting
>Dose shit drawings
Oh my, the anime truly is a waste of time.
The fuck was up with Monet?
Law replaced her legs with bird legs right? Weren't her wings just snow she made though? Where's her fucking arms?
Are you the same faggot that keeps bringing those shadows up every fucking thread?
They're a mystery. They were always supposed to be interpreted as a spooky mystery and not something to actually look deeply in to. They will never be mentioned again or expanded upon in any way. All of Thriller Bark's spooky shit was explained away logically in the end as being part of Moria/Hogback's shit. The shadows were thrown in to add one last unexplained mystery so the arc could keep some of its spookiness. That's all. Fucking deal with it and stop trying to make the fucking shadows your waifu.
somewhere in OP world there's a bird with lady arms and legs and someone here will fap to it
Democracy will settle this once and for all
Joy Boy was the king of the ancient kingdom who designed the weapon "One Piece" to blow up reverse mountain and mariejois and unite the four seas in to one more easily navigateable ocean. Noah's arc was built to ferry the fishmen to the surface so that the mariejois area of the red line could be blown up without the fishmen being killed by the falling debris. Joy Boy's apologetic poneglyph was him apologizing for not being able to give the FIshmen a home on the surface after the world government stopped him.
This will all be VERY important in the final arc when Luffy destroys reverse mountain/mariejois/fishman island.
This is the best thing I've ever read.
>>next nakama will never be a flatchested tomboy with a great ass
Oda, oda plz. I want this.
It's gonna be Vivi. They will just go back and pick her up
>Unfortunate Harpy appears!
>No none option
There's always room for error
Oda's been holding out on a new crewmember for six fucking arcs.
It's time anon.
The time is now.
We have loads of arcs ahead of us still and we barely have room for another crew member as it is. In fact we'd probably be better off without Brook so that the rest of the crew all got more screen time. We don't need another crew member diluting crew screen time, and if we get one now we probably won't get another one for the rest of the series.
If we're getting another crew member we're better off waiting a couple more arcs, otherwise by the end of the series it's going to feel like fucking forever since the crew was added to. Because I guarrantee the next crew member will be the last aside from MAYBE Jinbei, but I'm expecting and hoping that Jinbei dies.
Anon we need another crewmember.
I'd settle for zombie monet at this point.
What do you have against Brook? He fits into the crew perfectly.
He was sodomized by a musical fencer.
Must have been a terrible boning, then.
my dick is diamonds
captcha: Hyde upspros
says it all.
Because all he does is make skull jokes or ask to see panties and neither are funny. He has no personality. He is a walking gag character, but his gag is tiresome. I love his design, but he is a waste of panel space with his current "personality" and he detracts from the screen time that the more likable Straw Hats get. Sanji is the same post-timeskip, but at least he had a lot of badass panels and subterfuge shit in the first half so he's not entirely irredeemable despite also being a worthless gag character post timeskip.
I'm certainly fucking glad both of them have fucked off to Zou for now. By getting rid of Nami, Sanji, and Brook for the time being, the three worst strawhats are no longer taking the focus away from the better Straw Hats. (Not that I hate Nami, I just don't like her either).
If Sanji goes back to being Mr. Prince and stops being such a beta white knighting faglord, he is welcome to start getting screen time again. If Brook develops a fucking personality outside of skull jokes and perverted requests, he can start having screen time too. But at the moment they both do naught but detract from the quality of the manga by consuming valuable panel space.
Been a while since I kept up with the threads. Wanted to let some chapters pile up, don't regret it because holy fuck Sabo and delicious Bart.
But damn, y'all weren't shitting on the ladies this hard back around the end of Fishman Island.
Bonnie and Ivankov for next crew members. Also, rename Strawhat pirates by Loli pirates
Eh, pre TS Robin was acutally really, really fun (at least for me), primarily in Skypiea. After that she got pushed to the sidelines, just like Nami. Now they're both the SH whores (seriously Oda, why did you make their boobs bigger!?)
Also rename One Piece "Cute Pirates Doing Cute Things".
Ah yes, because all the other Srawhats are so well fleshed out. Please explain how they're any different from Brook.
They're young, and still growing?
Is One Piece worth watching? I like the idea of a pirate anime , but I don't like how there are so many damn episodes , most of the stuff I watch only have around 30 episodes
What will Fujitora do? Help Doflamingo? Help Luffy? Go home? Buster call? Eat ramen?
Just watch it at your own pace.
It's worth it.
Watch until the end of Enies Lobby, then read the manga. The anime goes down the drain at that point, but the manga just keeps improving.
It's better to read
Why do peopel still believe we get another crewmember?
Because luffy said he wants 10 at the start of the manga? Oda had no idea where he was going back then. Just look at shanks losing his arm to seaking fodder.
The crew is already big enough, another one, let alone two more (if you go with the 10 nakama theory) are way too many characters to give them all screentime and more importantly fights.
Also a new member after the timeskip would never fit into the emotional bonding the strawhats already have
Well Brooks persona didnt have enough time to get fleshed out because he is a skeleton Yohohohoho!
If Lola was from the New World then why was she weak as shit?
And people say Skull Jokes aren't funny...
I wish Perona had joined
She had awesome powers
>young and still growing
If Roger was from East Blue, how come he was strong as shit?
Oda said that, not me.
I guess if people can live to 140 in one piece then 30 could still be considered "young and growing".
Oda was drunk when he said that. Yup, definitely drunk
>Oda had no idea where he was going back then
Theres a shit ton of stuff that proves you wrong
Wouldn't that mean whitebeard was just a middle-aged man when he died?
But he was.
I'm not sure of his age, but he was past his prime.
Or horny. Probably horny.
Oda has the overall plot planned since the beginning. The nigga has been trying to hype us the final arc/chapter for years
I think he was around 70
So assuming he wasn't sick, he could have lived another 60 or so years?
Makes me wonder how much longer Rayleigh will be around
Probably quite awhile if we are assuming he will die from old age.
How many people have we seen die of old age? Kureha's in her 140's and Shakky looks decades younger than she is... what is the average lifespan in the One Piece world? Not taking into account death by flashback?
I find it strange that Nami had a sleepwalking problem at the arena. Why we didnt see it before? Also Nami spotting and dodging sleepwalking Nami, while she is supposed to be faster than soru users.
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
The irony is that the guy who smacked the lady probably ages slower than the people in One Piece.
If Lucci has no Haki, and we was just very good at Rokushiki, how fucking strong would someone be with Haki + Rokushiki?
I'd imagine that's the strength level of most VA's.
Why does this trigger my autism.
Nigga you best be fucking joking.
why is he so perfect?
This is honestly one of the only manga series I collect physical copies of in Japanese
Lucci is the seventh Shichibukai
Why is Kaku so based?
What's your excuse for not shipping Kaku x Jyabura?
So, why most strong people in OP are so large? Whitebeard was around 5 meters tall, Roger was at least 3 meters. Admirals are around 3 - 4 meters tall. Even Mihawk, who seems normal sized, is 198 cm tall - in real world he would be considered almost a giant.
It's almost as much an age thing as it is power. Look at Luffy compared to Robin. Shanks is probably on par with the Admirals and several of the VA's are almost certainly larger than him.
I prefer Kumadori x Lucci. Kumadori was seriously my favourite CP9 character, why he had to be smashed by fucking Chopper
>why he had to be smashed by fucking Chopper
But that was the best part.
Except Kumadori clearly won the fight until Chopper cheated
I liked this part, it was fascinating. But still would like if Chopper defeated some other CP9 member instead, like this chappapa dude (am I the only one who think that he is the creepiest character in OP?)
I like to call him humpty dumpty.
I like him
He reminded me of a friend of mine who at the time had the same stupid teenage goatee
I don't like him because he is extreme example of Oda's LOLSORANDUMBXD design - I can find explanation for zipper in mouth (although it's dumb) but why he has green skin?
>Hi, I'm anon, I have no reading comprehension and gloss over important characterization because I need dicks in my ears.
You have completely missed Brook's defining feature as a crewmember. He's THE most loyal crewmember by far, instantly searching for them or checking the surrounding the moment they're in danger, feinting and pretending to be a regular skeleton when it's convenient, deceitful to boot and able to trick opponents with relative ease, probably THE fastest crewmember, plus this scene? Him boasting that the future Pirate King Luffy "gave him new life"? Making it seem like Luffy could raise the dead?
Why even bother searching for his comrades, anyway? Might be because he doesn't want to abandon another friend? He's shown up in the nick of time to aid his crew a couple of times already.
He's just a joke character? Nigga eat a dick. Brook's cash as fuck.
don't do that
Can you imagine someone using both CoO and Kami-e?
If these 3 were in one crew we'd already have a new pirate king.
Do you guys think Oda will pull another Timeskip?
I am so sick of people using this shit excuse of a "term" to describe surrealism.
Maybe right at the end to see Luffy die or crew members as they grew older, or to see the kid that inherits the hat.
Other than that I doubt it.
surely for someone to be a zombie they'd need to be dead first which monet clearly isn't
Soru is basically RUN FAST and Kamie is basically DODGE SHIT.
Everyone is already doing it.
Doubt it, considering they're meant to be halfway through their journey.
That is, Unless Oda decides to do a Majin Buu/GT-esque saga after strawahats have reached the end of the grand line.
>Usopp confronts Sugar.
>Attempts to scare her by claiming to have 10,000 subordinates.
>Sugar turns Usopp into a Sogeking toy.
>Pinocchio jokes ensue.
>Usopp tells her that for once he isn't lying.
>Sugar is attacked by hundreds of fairies.
Which is best Rokushiki technique and why it's Shigan? Also try google "shigan", what the fuck is second result?
>Robin learns shigan
Jesus christ how fucking horrifying
Zoro/Kaku is superior
>robin stimlating your prostate
God damn why is Bisoromi Bear so OP?
So if Bellamy knows a way around Bart's barrier, why didn't he tell Dellinger about it if he wanted to die?
I think it was sheer luck that made him phase through the barrier.
god damn that a long scene for not much going on. I'm glad I don't watch the show anymore
Oh, its you again
>not much going on….
you really don't understand one piece anime or manga do you
Thank god! I'm so sick of that.
Anyone who didn't vote Jimbei is a moron.
He literally joined the crew during Fishman Island. Physically, he's apart from them, but socially they ARE crewmates.
What are you guys thoughts on viz release? Is there anything that gets censored.
I'm aware of the Zolo thing, but I honestly couldn't care less about that.
You are the moron.
This poll is after rebecca is introduced… if socially they are crew mates then obviously he can't be the next nakama.
Bart won because he was strong enough to block an attack no one else could block and knocked out said attacker.
Rebecca won because hakuba went back to sleep and decided to attack her head instead of her unprotected belly, plot basically. The circumstances aren't the same at all.
Good, because why on fucking earth would he abandon his own crew for luffy's?
>Being this stupid
Rebecca dodged the attack using CoO
All being is a becoming, i.e. a mode of passive synthesis resulting from pure difference. In this sense, friendship, and therefore, "the being of crewmates" is not a static thing, but one of essentially diachronic nature.
>she managed to dodge
Looks like she got hit to me.
Can't believe people are picking Rebecca over Kinemon. I think neither of them are going to join, but Kinemon definitely has more setup for an interesting backstory (Momo probably not being his biological son).
She did, after that page you can see her with blood trickling down her face
>Rebecca dodged the attack using CoO
She saw it coming, which is impressive, but she still got hit and was knocked out. She didn't dodge the attack.
That saved her. Hakuba probably thought his work was finished and left, thereby making Beccy the winner. Yes, her victory is partly due to the fact Cabbish was placed in block D. But luck is and has always been a factor in every battle ever, even in One Piece. She won fair and square.
Prepare yourself for her winning this tournament, because the plot armor is strong in this one.
>She won fair and square.
> the plot armor is strong in this one.
Bit of an oxymoron isn't it? Winning by plot armor isn't really winning fairly.
>she won fair and square
Doesn't change the fact that she was probably weaker than everybody else in the block.
Believe in each other, to the way each.
By shitty Google translate.
Why do you f/a/ggots always say the good guys are weak and
>Luffy can't beat Doflamingo
Why are you guys even arguing about whether or not Rebecca dodged it when fucking Sabo SAYS she dodged it in the very next page? Oda says she dodged it, so she did. There's nothing to debate.
She wasn't the strongest fighter in block D, but her CoO is impressive enough that she could see an attack few others could. She isn't some slouch.
I argue it is. The plot armor can be described as a virtual metaphysical phenomenon. It exists beyond the realm of what is fair and what is not. She didn't really poison the contestants before the match, didn't she.
That is true. That IS her thing. She's the underdog. You know what happens to underdogs in most fiction? They win at the end.
...what? She was beating back every opponent she was up against before Cavendish finished them off.
NO ONE ELSE IN THE BLOCK WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH HAKUBA'S ATTACK. NO ONE. Every one of them was speed blitzed EXCEPT Rebecca.
Her haki is strong as fuck.
She's just fast. Anybody else in the block could wreck her 1 on 1, she was just lucky that Cavendish happened to have an alternate personality. Cavendish was the true winner of block D. Everyone else was so weak that he fell asleep in the middle of it.
Confirmed for idiocy or troll.
Nice argument there.
>Anybody else in the block could wreck her 1 on 1
They didn't did they?
I always found it funny that the alabasta saga implied that Vivi would join, then ends up her deciding not to.....and then straight after the arc, Robin, who was a bad guy during that arc, decides to join out of nowhere.
Of course Rebecca was lucky, how is it not lucky that she just so happened to be in the same block as a guy who has an amazing power that just so happens to make him fall asleep afterwards?
She didn't have to do anything, she'll get stomped in the finals.
So...Diamante for new Straw Hat?
Diamante is a gigga toy that will be restored and join the straw hats.
So, Dadan for best mother character?
>Not Big Mom
>Not Portgas D. Rouge
>naming two awful characters with terrible development and characterization
I can't wait for the Franky vs San Juan Wolf battle with Franky using SUPER~Nun Chucks in the Franky Shogun with remote control support of the Sunny's cannon fire.
I miss that Chopper
so does hakuba have like a you know a devil fruit power
I hope not, would be more interesting if it was something else instead of 'Jekyll Jekyll no mi' or something.
>Having any characterization yet
>Not getting the joke
>Luffy poised over Donflamingo after a hard fought battle
>about to deal the final blow
Okama Sanji when
Would Gecko Moria win in a fight against Ryuko? I'd say he'd lose regularly, but he needs a little bit of trickery and then BAM, her shadow is gone and Ryuko is kill
I could win in a fight against her
>>Luffy poised over Donflamingo after a hard fought battle
Anon, there's something i need to tell you...
luffy's gonna get his boypussy stretched.
A lot of people don't know what Devil Fruit Luffy has unless they've met him. They've only heard that he is a devil fruit user and a lot don't even know what he looks like. You can tell when the imposter Straw hats were recruiting. There's so many rumors floating around about Luffy that most random people just aren't sure what to believe.
>Trebol somehow manages to capture Robin and Usopp
>Luffy goes full Power of friendship like in Enies Lobby
>Doflamingo still gets away somehow
I don't think he is as strong as people think he is but he isn't weak.
I will never be able to read that as One Piece.
I always see NEPEC, and I can never unsee.
That's so fucking shitty. If Cavendish is going down to the basement he is going to be fighting someone name. There are 100 dwarfs down their who could wreck any of the mooks down there.
At this point if Cavendish goes down there, he'll be fighting Trebol for sure.
so he has a something like a swim swim fruit??? so his power allows him to swim in pussy???
>replying to a post that old
Good thing I'm still here to see my post get a reply
Koala should be added there too.
He is a sleepwalker, did you even read the chapter, mate? Somnambulism is a condition where people move while they are unconscious, in this case, Cavendish is a beast when he isn't aware of it.
why would anyone draw that
>someone in the dofla family has the sleep-sleep devil fruit
>he sleeps cavendish
i can see it happening
Big Mom is going to be Luffy's 2nd division when Lola shows up.
I had my money on Marco of the Whitebeards but this works too.
>>Trebol somehow manages to capture Robin and Usopp
Usopp better have some more seastone cuffs or a lucky insight into Trebol's logia's elemental weakness or I don't see them beating him.
So, since we've been so divided on this, who do you think Lola's mother is?
Outside of some translation style choices, Viz does a fine release. The scan quality is better than anything fan scanlators can hope to put out.
I doubt he has anymore seastone cuffs. But it will be bullshit if the guy whonis supposed to be protecting Doflamingo's most valuable crew member get beat by fucking Usopp and Robin.
Daily fucking reminder
Who the fuck is Elmy?
Not him, but there is a One Piece Wiki.
Seems plausible since Lola also got some kind of swords.
Unless we get some more info, yeah sure why not.
>not in a long flowing dress with one leg showing
The cigarette holder was a nice touch.
I really love BB he is the most interesting villain/person in the whole OP series. One minute he is super evil and the next he is super based and telling luffy to fucking follow his dreams and shit.
Why is she handing out Blooming Onions?
He's essentially Luffy's counterpart, Luffy without the nakama vibe.
I like him for Big Bad...a lot.
The weird part is Teach actually likes Luffy
He just has no morality and puts his dreams above all else
And he's not invincible
I also like that he doesn't really think about things, but he's one of the "smartest" characters in OP.
give me violet's dress or nothing
>Sanji and Violet have to switch clothes in order to make Sanji's okama kenpo more powerful
>Sanji expects Violet to find him lame instead she really admires him
>"I will wait for you Sanji-kun"
>Sanji now crossdresses all the time and is not quite so perverted with the other girls as before with a girl waiting for him
>monster trio again
one can hope
Will Zoro's opponent this arc really be fujitora?
On one hand it seems fitting, but on the other hand it seems that Oda is setting up Doflamingo's side for a complete and humiliating defeat. Which means every strawhat will obtain decisive and satisfying victories.
On the other hand fujitora seems like a nice and humble person so if Zoro is fighting him, then the fight might get interrupted or be undecisive.
>Sanji and Violet meet up with the rest of the Straw Hats
>Sanji sees Nami and Robin and fawns over them as usual
>Violet gets jealous
My japanese pen pal happens to be dating Oda's daughter.
he told me that Kaidou will show up at dressrosa very soon and there will be mayhem
It's not time.
Bastille could be a decent fit though.
Then again, the marines seem altogether a side issue at the moment.
>everyone expect Sanji to have mastered okama kenpo
>instead he got syringes given to him by Iva
>Sanji injects himself with one of those thinking they are some kind of steroids
>they are actually genderbent syringes
>Sanji is now Mrs. Princess
Highly doubt it, they'll fight a bit but it won't be a 'main' fight.
Isn't Oda's daughter like 5?
Oda has seriously upped Zoro's badassery post time skip, even letting him OHKO luffy's first opponent. I doubt a "mere" VA at this point will do.
Even Maynard jobbed to Bart, and yes I know he's a rookie but the effect is the same, VA's just don't cut it anymore as end bosses.
>Don Chinjao was fodder to Luffy when he lacked his head spike. This is not up for debate.
Luffy didn't (and couldn't) oneshot him and only defeated him on a technicality.
They're equal in strength. It's just that you faggots interpret a character losing or getting punched as being "fodderized" or "jobbing."
>Guess what Luffy has never done in his fight against Don Chinjao? Get tired. A fucking sweat drop doesn't mean you are tired.
He said he wanted to relax after his fight and didn't want to mess with Chinjao at that moment when he tried to apologize.
>He only whined about it after the match because he's a whiner to begin with and was making excuses to Cavendish.
He "whined" because Chinjao cracked the floor he was standing on.
I really hate you battlefaggots, you single-handedly ruined One Piece threads.
>Rebecca winning by dumb luck
>Doflamingo suddenly turning retarded
Has this arc jumped the shark?
he'll pull off some seastone plot green.
That's what makes it feel awkward, because then Zoro will be the only guy who won't get a satisfying victory.
Unless he switches to one of the commanders.
But it looks like Franky or possible even Robin+Usopp duo may take one of those commanders so having Zoro take on someone of the same caliber doesn't fit.
Will they ever be happy together?
Yeah, he'll probably clash swords a bit then something will happen and he'll move onto one of Doffy's men.
In fact they might not fight again in this arc.
They'll get married and Luffy gives hat to their kid.
japanese penpal, not american prude-pal
DEATH TO AKAINU GLORY TO BUGGY
>Franky taking on a commander
lel delusional frankyfags. He's getting his ass suplexed by a guy in a diaper
Sanji will take on Trebol.
>he can now kick women cause he's also a woman
>Sanji vs Big Mom
Sanji is fighting Big Mom though
I just realized. What if Sanji is so weak now because Iva placed him on female hormone treatment and he's low on testosterone?
If Luffy and Chinjao didn't use finishers agaisnt each other. The battle would have been much more drawn out,he even landed a blow on him and dusted of a Hawk Rifle. Fodder my ass lol
Knowing Oda Big Mom will probably fall in love with Sanji on first sight
>Sanji will take on Trebol
lel delusional sanjifags. He's getting his ass beat by Big Mom's crew.
>Sanji joins Big Moms crew as a spy
>Mr Prince returns
Take this or nothing.
Sanji is in the middle of the ocean fighting a yonkou's crew and has officially been charged with protecting the weaklings on the ship as they head to another island. Nami+Chopper+an 8 year old+Brook can't take on the big wigs of BM's crew.
Is he gonna turn back for what, the 4th time?
I wouldn't be surprised if Hakuba surprises on Sugar before she turns Cabbage into a toy and he gets the honor of taking Trebol out.
I can't be the only one that wants Cavendish to be a Sogeking fan, can I?
VA's are tiered, like shichibukai.
Maynard is a newbie to the rankie, Bastille is a veteran.
Toppling an admiral raises the question of who remains to challenge his strength and by relation, Luffy's.
Oh my god, look at how Luffy jobbed to Ceasar!! I can't believe Oda fodderized him.
>every battlefaggot discussion ever
Both Maynard and Garp were VA's.
I highly doubt they are equal in strenght
Look at the flashback. Garp is in his fucking prime here, IE admiral tier
Even then he couldn't damage chinjao's head and had to specifically go through a special training regimen to harden his fists
Yet here Luffy was able to do it right away in their first fight.
Luffy > Young Garp >= Admiral
To be fair, Garp did reject the position of Admiral so he's basically Admiral tier.
Except Luffy, just two days beforehand, just got done two entire years of training against gigantic beasts. Not sure you've really incorporated that into your logic.
A sanjifag doesn't think that sanji is weak at all. Quit being a faggot. You're worse than sanjifags.
Except Chinjao was way off his prime when he fought Luffy.
chinjao was also stronger there
>VA's are tiered, like shichibukai.
To some extent, but honestly if there are extremely powerful VA's then obviously the marines wouldn't have to recruit civilians and just promote existing VA's.
So even if Zoro is fighting Bastille it shouldn't be a struggle for him.
Oh and Chinjao's head was stronger when fighting against Garp, compared to the flat head he had against Luffy.
You do realize Garp is an exception right? Oda went out of his way to tell the audience Garp refused a promotion, also he's the main character's grandfather.
Garp also couldn't increase the size of his fist to gigantic proportions either.
>special training focused on punching one specific guy's head is the same as two years of generic training
Nice logic faget
>a day training against 8 mountains
>two years training his haki and his strength, plus a year and a half with the king of haki and ends up enlarging his arm (garp couldnt), using super haki, hits a not pointed head, and hits the guy out of his prime
Nice retort, faggot.
>Garp beat Chinjao with less effort when Chinjao was much stronger
> Anywhere close to young Garp's level
Whitebeard's taller than that, but Roger is nowhere near 3m tall. He's shorter than Garp, probably around 6'6". The admirals are bretty hooj, but their body types are different and some are taller than others. And Garp is shorter than the lot of them, and was way stronger in his youth, same with Roger. Luffy has trashed countless guys and he's short by real world standards. And although we all know by shonen logic that Marco, Jozu and Vista are the most powerful of the Whitebeard commanders, Oda has officially stated they're all about as powerful as each other - from Haruta the guy shorter than Luffy to Blenheim the guy bigger than Whitebeard, in Kuma and Moriah's region.
The simple truth of the matter is that, so long as you are not in actual giant territory (40-60' and greater) then size can basically be anything, the difference in power is negligible and balanced out by drawbacks like clumsiness or being a huge target. Any body type, height, size and mass can be powerful in One Piece.
They'd never allow Marco in anything Gov related
What is Trebol's element anyway, boogers? also how can he overpower so many great fighters in a row? Granted they're injured but still. Did they not show Don being grabbed because he's too strong for Trebol?
Also Bellamy has a crazy good luck bad luck ratio, this arc alone he's avoided being toyified twice
probably snot snot no mi
Why would Doffy toyify his own minion, especially one that he needs to take out Luffy?
Dof put a hit out on him before he ordered him to kill Luffy....
