Is it gay to like shoujo anime/manga?
>Is it gay to like anime/manga?
shoujo is not a genre
Only if you insert as the girl.
Nobody said it was.
But that's how you're mean to watch shoujo anime, baka!
CCS is the manliest anime ever. Sakura is a total badass.
It's gay not to.
Hell nah nigga
shojo is the lick
It's gay to like bad ones
What is a good shoujo?
Nah. Some of the older ones are really nice.
I enjoyed Kare Kano, Kare First Love, and Sensual Phrase. If you ever need a good laugh go read Sensual Phrase or anything by Mayu Shinjo. She's horrible at anatomy and that leads to some pretty hilarious pages
That Maid one was ok
No one ever talks about josei anime and manga.
SSB last season was one, and it was great.
>Sakamichi to Apollon
I would watch more if there were good reverse harems.
I can only think of Ouran and that wasn't even one really.
and the answer is yes
FACT: all anime fans are bi-sexual in some fashion, male and female.
I tried to read some manga called Orange after hearing how good it was and god it was hideous. The story had no depth, the panels were ordered horribly, the art was bad, it was trying to be good story telling. I had to stop reading after two chapters.
Only if you want to fuck the male lead.
As expected of the protegee of the master of western and eastern magic.
No man, sparklebubbles are awesome.
Romance is great.
Nigga are you serious? Josei is very popular on /a/ outside of the retarded newshits and moefags.
Recent shows like chihayafuru are very popular/well accepted and are doing well in japan. Meanwhile almost all fans agree that the "big two" of josei (nodame+hnc) are outstanding.
Orange is actually Seinen, even though Takano Ichigo made it so it may as well be called a Shoujo.
It's different though. Most Shoujo manga are just standard teeny bopper dramas. That one has the whole future-past twist to it. Personally, I like it.
All shoujo manga have shit art by the way
>Orange is actually Seinen
No. It started publication in a shoujo mag, the author couldn't deal with the deadlines, and moved to a more lenient mag (ie seinen) after a hiatus.
I know it's all, but orange was even worse.
There's quite a few otome game adaptions with reverse harems
Are they really all horrible?
Hiyokoi is pretty good, despite how generically shoujo it is.
>Most Shoujo manga are just standard teeny bopper dramas.
Do you even sci fi shoujo. Or even adventure shoujo.
Will it have better drawings and designs this time?
Watch Uta no Prince Sama.
It's actually pretty good, despite how rediculous and sometimes hilarious it is.
I don't know. Could you name a few? I'll get back to you .
You don't say.
Do you even Kuragehime?
>despite how rediculous and sometimes hilarious it is.
But that's like 80% of the charm.
I still say the finale for s2 is one of the best episodes I've ever seen.
Uta no Prince Sama
>MC is a cute high school trap looking for love
>Thoughout the MC's journey, the MC comes across 12 badasses each fighting for his love, and when I mean fighting I mean literally
>best guy doesn't win
I agree. I adore that part of it, but I'm saying that even if you disliked that type of thing the first season especially, is still a solid show.
>tfw kuragehime defined hanakana and was probably her best/most fitting role, and now she voices like 8 characters a season and sounds the same and unfitting
>All shoujo manga have shit art
There is gr8 shoujo with gr8 art, you just gotta find it
OreImo had already.
Shoujo tend to have great OP/ED
Those aren't even made anymore.
Nowadays it's all romance dramas with at most some side gimmick to set them apart.
Except Natsume Yuujinchou of course.
I dont have any bait images saved on this computer, just know that I'm recognizing your pathetic attempt.
Guys, what demographic is Hapi Mari?
I'm finally downloading this show, it's the last shoujo from that season that I didn't watch. Gonna watch a few episodes tonight.
>not posting this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AzEFia1UEY
Outstanding art, amazing song. It all fits. But the biggest thing is that both the song and the art FIT the show. It's something shows have stopped doing to a degree, and is becoming very uncommon. Instead they rather just put in fan service, scenes from the show, or stupid unrelated garbage (see klk).
I'm actually not trying to bait. Kuragehime is shit.
I wasn't talking about the quality of the show, I was saying that it was her best casting. I dont know if you are legitimately retarded, or you think acting like a fucking retard will accomplish something, but you should step your game up.
Kuragehime is actually pretty great, the anime didn't turn out as well as it could have because of how the budget/sales/production went. Even then it definitely wasn't shit, and its not like the anime is the sole source.
The first I'll research, the second one is okay if you don't mind the most souless eyes in existance, and the third is terrible.
I am saying she had already had fitting roles like Kuroneko, Nadeko and Kanade.
>Is it gay to like shoujo anime/manga?
Nigga is my husbando.
>bakemono, angel beats and oreimo
Oh, so you have garbage taste. My bad man, I didnt know I was dealing with a dirt eating peasant.
I quite enjoy career(I want to be [x]) anime/manga and some of my favorites belong to that demographic.
You do realize that two of those shows were aired after kuragehime right? Fucking plebeian retard.
cool ad hominem bro
>you think acting like a fucking retard will accomplish something, but you should step your game up.
I won't talk with someone who switches opinion midway.
Liking dicks is not gay.
Are you dumb? Bakemono was 2009, AB was from April 2010, Oreimo was October 2010. Kuragehime came out at the same time as Oreimo.
Do you seriously think I give a single fuck? All three of those roles are the exact kind of unfitting shit that she is in recently as well. They are uninspired stupid roles, that are just "LOOK WHO WE HAVE VOICING THIS CHARACTER!" rather than her actually fitting and improving the character.
look who we have here, Mr I know whats better for my VA than she does.
You seem like the type of person who would kill themselves when she gets married.
Kurage-Hime is hilarious. So is Ouran.
Nadeko is pretty good. She has pretty different voices between being normal boring shy girl, pissed off yankee girl, and carefree shrine goddess
It's funny because you actually have it backwards. You retards that eat her up in a multitude of unrelated roles that are more or less focused around her voice are the ones that care about that type of thing.
I would just like her to voice characters that she can improve and fit, rather than whoring herself around to 8 series a season.
Is it also not gay to make love to a man's butt?
Not really, I happen to enjoy shoujo manga, if it's well written.
Pic related, it's getting an anime and I'm HYPED.
Casting for the anime looks good, with Kaji Yuuki as Kou, and Maaya Uchida as Futaba.
Kimi ni todoke
Hey buddy I think you got the wrong door, the leather club is two blocks down.
Kimi ni Todoke is shit.
Ah man, I don't believe that questions. Its too macabre.
Just answer the question, anon.
Not gay, just bad taste.
People on /a/ enjoy Nodame? That's the first I've heard of it.
Wow, the animation on this show is actually pretty good. And I like the characters.
that's because you are a newfag
I'm surprised you even know what Nodame is
>shoujo lead who actually has a personality
Nanami is a miracle of the universe.
Shame Kurama won't win the nanami, I hate that faggot Tomoe.
Worst guy always win
Yeah this, it's kind of lame
Why don't you like Tomoe?
Shoujo mangazines have had decreasing sales during a long time so maybe girls would like more variety
It'd be better with less rape and domestic violence. ITOH, that's what the audience expect from shoujo
Rape and domestic violence is great.
Yeah, what's wrong with a man taking a strong lead anyway? "Rape" and "domestic violence" are just feminist crap terms with no real meaning anyway.
Mizuki > Kurama
I thought the animation was obviously cheap, and the "go buy the manga" non-ending kind of let me down, but Nanami was the best and cutest shoujo heroine that season.
shoujo romance > any other type of romance
What is the best shoujo?
Kimi no Todoke and Chihayafuru are the best selling shoujo/josei titles so maybe nip females are ready for less sadomasochism
The animation might have been cheap, but it was still plenty enjoyable and I really liked the artstyle, particularly the line work. It gave the facial expressions real impact.
Speaking of Kamisama Hajimemashita, it's getting a second season, right?
No, it's manlier than men's entertainment.
Is there a single shoujo with romance that doesnt have a love triangle?
inb4 someone mentions Ore Monogatari
Your taste is shit.
Tiger-kun was clearly best boy.
I'd like Dengeki Daisy more if Teru did less.
But I feel bad for saying shit like that.
I like Sabagebu
This. Shoujo doesn't have to have a female protagonist
Stop setting people up for suffering.
>It's funny because you actually have it backwards.
No, he doesn't. Do you even read your own posts?
There are a lot of reverse harems I know of, but they're manga. You should try giving it a look.
But thats not a shoujo.
I really hope you're purposefully being retarded.
Yeah it is
I like shoujo that don't get all rapey...
Why do you think it's a shoujo?
I mean heck, it doesn't even have a relevant "shoujo" (as in, young female) character in the entire first season.
The classmate girl is practically part of the background wallpaper.
Also, I like side couples
It's publish in a shoujo magazine so that makes it shoujo.
me 2 i know how you feel
