So in the end "Tenshi" revealed to Otonashi that she was one of the people who received one of his organs..
But if she was in that world before Otonashi.. how is that possible? Either this Otonashi guy is the creator or this story is horribly flawed..
someone explain plz?
He didn't immediately end up in that world.
Why have there been so many Angel Beats threads recently?
>implying time in the afterlife flows in a linear fashion
idk I havent seen any.
Why wouldn't it flow naturally?
And unexplained event that would have if not for the episode cut. You've just got to accept that AB was rushed as fuck and that the loose ends will never be tied.
Nigger, the fucker was in limbo. It's implied subtly though. Go watch the epilogue, its like 2-3 minutes to finish off any hope for a sequel and come to the realization that you wont know anything until the VN comes out. Also, the manga is a thing. It gives backstory on a couple of the side characters.
fucking shina is like 300 years old
VN almost out, hopefully we'll get a relatively fast translation like we did with Rewrite.
While the anime was a disappointment, I do hope that the VN is gonna be good.
Any release date?
>someone explain plz?
Stop typing like a fucking retard.
>the loose ends will never be tied.
What is the visual novel?
No, but it sounds like it's gonna be out the first half of this year.
Oh baby I'm so damn hyped, I can't wait for that OST while playing. Hopefully it has a lot of cool DMG concerts
I dropped it a long-ass time ago. Is it still about Girls Dead Monster's founding members having lesbian sex?
Not this bullshit again, I have no idea anymore how many times this has been explained by now.
Yeah, while I'm not a fan of the anime, I do have to say that the OST was really damn good.
Also, the first release is just gonna have the common route (which goes to around episode 9 or 10) and 3 or 4 character routes. The rest of the character routes will be released in expansion packs, of which there will be 5, hopefully released consistently every few months.
They said Spring 2014 on the site. Probably around May or June.
Considering you can't explain something human beings know nothing about, its all speculation.
They'll most likely announce a definitive date of release on April 1st (Japan time) like they always do for their announcements so look forward to that date.
Looks like it's time to pick it back up.
>You weren't at the final GirlsDeMo conert ever
I might actually cry
I can't wait for the VN. Anyone know how long will it be until they release the next volume?
6 month intervals. Final volume in 2017
Holy shit then its going to be fucking massive. I knew it was going to be big but not that big. I hope it lives up to the hype.
I have no idea. I've seen like five in the past week. And it's always this same question.
Not that I'm complaining, it's a good show.
With Maeda back writing scenario and considering how long it will be, it can only be an improvement. At least it won't be so inconsistent between writers it ends up making the game shitty like with Rewrite.
Angel Beats is not a good show. I very much enjoyed it, but I also recognize that it was shit.
I'm afraid I cannot agree with you.
>I very much enjoyed it
If you enjoy something, you think it is good. Period. There is no such thing as "I accept it's shit but still enjoy it," that just means you're applying someone else's preconceived notion that you're making up.
You can enjoy something despite it being objectively shitty.
A measure of "good" in anime is always subjective. Anime can't be "objectively bad."
And no, if something was objectively bad you could not enjoy it. That would mean it is universally unenjoyable, a concept that does not exist.
Aku no Hana.
We're not having this stupid fucking discussion, just shut up
You can rattle off all the examples you want, but it's still not proof of objectivity. The most you might be able to muster is a majority consensus of an opinion, but that's still subjective and you shouldn't apply other peoples' opinions to your own. Try thinking for yourself for a change.
Then stop trying to say stupid shit like "opinions can be objective."
>If you enjoy something, you think it is good. Period. There is no such thing as "I accept it's shit but still enjoy it,"
That's an opinion. You can judge media based on your belief system that good=enjoyable, and I can judge media based on my belief system that "good" and "enjoyable" can be separate measures.
angel beats is my favorite anime and I completely love it
however I recognize some problems with it that keep it from being the best it can be. I don't think its bad but other shows are actually better
I can like a show that is completely horrible, and I can respect a show that is good when I just don't like it
If you enjoy something, you think it's good on some level, otherwise you wouldn't enjoy it. You might not like admitting it's good, or you might think that it's only slightly good, but you certainly do not think it's bad, or even worse "shit"
Well it looks like /a/ likes Angel Beats now. Where are you oldfags? WHERE IS YOUR WISDOM.
>I can like a show that is completely horrible, and I can respect a show that is good when I just don't like it
No, that's you just bending over to the opinions of others. It's the same shit that happens in the movie industry when pretentious faggots hail things as classics and people pretend they like them to suit some form of discourse.
An opinion is subjective. What you are saying is "I have an opinion that it's good, but someone else said it's bad and I think their opinion holds more weight than mine."
People liked it when it was airing, though there were plenty of people that were unhappy with the ending. But for the ride to the ending, it was pretty popular.
ok lets put in a scenario for that
lets say theres a show that does nothing original, has horrible characters, no plot, poor visuals, bad music and even the creators hate it
now lets say I like that show
I can't create a scenario for an actually good show because that seems like its 100% subjective
>now lets say I like that show
Then you think it's good. Or at least, you think the good aspects outweight the bad aspects.
>there are people on /a/ who doubt My song is best song
It's a plothole. don't let any other faggots on this board tell you otherwise
