Alright, /a/. What is your profession?
But we have one rule. You must post an anime character with the same job as you.
it's still /soc/ blogging shit
saged and reported
I am not a proud man
The closest to a psychobiologist I can think of.
Any character that goes to college.
Can't say I've seen an anime or read a manga that does so. At least as far as characters go.
Who TADA BANRI here?
Shit man that sucks. Do you make what, 5 an hour after taxes?
Hey, Shift Manager beats dead bottom burger flipper. At least there's a glimmer of hope.
Don't worry bro, it's just for now, your real life hasn't started yet
> software engineer
Prison guard. Yay.
Saved me the trouble of looking for my bps pics.
I'm a community college degenerate.. Are community colleges even a thing in japan?
>your real life hasn't started yet
Is that supposed to cheer him or make him wanna killhimself?
Not a huge step up. Shit load of more work for $1 more an hour.
I'm trying to find a character who's a Trust Officer, but I'm drawing a blank.
So who pays you to be a NEET?
This man is right.
I haven't actually watched it yet. Is it good?
You have to play the long game and think about your CV, a year or two of doing that and you can move out of fast food, if you so wish.
It's an old one but a good one imo.
The whole point is that you get more because you get to work more hours this way.
I don't know what kind of twisted mentality a person needs to want to work more, but normalfags are always happy when they get more hours.
>tfw no anime about devilering mail
College for software engineer though
>tfw no anime about devilering mail
>tfw I had a dream about a mail delivery anime someday around last week
So you work AND study? How is that even possible? Do you still have time to fap?
Are you saying you're a Spartan OP?
Tegami batchi is comewhat close.
I don't know why there is stigma for community colleges, good for you if you want to continue learning.
I really don't think there's an anime about warehouse logistics
Study and classes monday-friday, only work on saturday.
It's a pretty easy job, I just listen to my k-on playlist while walking in nice weather.
Pays suprisingly good too compared to other shit-tier jobs.
So you work with shit papers?
Its ok to be a newfag.
Just kidding, gtfo off my 4chan.
Where are you from? Brazil? Every worthy country in the world is in the middle of winter right now.
And how much do they pay you? 10?
Not a lot of NEET to choose from.
But if it counts for anything, I have a job interview today.
The taxpayers that's who.
Wow, someone other than me liked Shigofumi.
Cant think of a single DIY salesman
Well the weather is pretty shitty this week, but usually around 15 degrees and sun is nice to walk in.
Around 10 yes
I work as a Resort Rep for a ski holidays company. I suppose "Tour Guide" would be the closest pass at it you could expect to find in anime, but I'm honestly turning up a blank for any characters who'd have that job.
>no anime about delivering mail
I don't know of any other practitioners in anime, to be honest, and Phoneix being anime is not Wright.
I am applying for an LLM now and I'm gonna join the Inner Temple after it, though I am still considering solicitor's work, since they get more low profile commercial cases
Perhaps this guy?
>because you get to work more hours this way
Bottom feeder burger flipper can get more hours, and his hours are more flexible.
So, what are you, a city planner?
The OCD is strong in this one.
>tfw no cute girls working at a mail company anime doing cute things
There should be a SOL about a company delivering love letters and helping people get deitos.
Wasn't MC job in usagi drop logistic ? ( At first he's in sales, but after hes with rin, he need to reschedule and asked for position change ).
But townie isn't real. Shut up you know what I mean.
Not really. Every little shit can flip burgers so they usually have like 200 high school students to do that and every one of those work for like 2 days a week for 3 hours a day.
Not law, but close enough really.
Holy shit, he looks like my coworker
You're better off spending your time getting a cert or a license if you want to make your resume look good. Unless you're planning to stay in fast food/retail it won't help you as much as you think it would.
>all these boring jobs
You guys are boring.
You're not even trying to hide it.
I work as warehouse manager in a freight forwarding company, so i get to see all kinds of stuff, not only shitting paper
I beg your pardon?
Seriously, don't do the same mistake. It's like lunatic assrape mode on all time. I barely have enough time to catch up with new anime.
Right now I'm a NEET, but I was a spare parts warehouse manager some months ago and I'm gonna work in a hotel's chains' room reservation services
I draw for a living.
I don't know any land surveyors in anime.
Programmer and PC technician.
I hope you're talking about being a doctor and not about being a nurse.
>>tfw no anime about devilering mail
Do you get to browse 4chan very often? If yes then teach me how to get your job.
>MC-tan goes to deliver the last love letter of the day
>It's addressed to her.
>Doesn't know who from
>Spends the series trying to figure out who loves her while also continuing to bring happiness to others.
You only have to work as hard as you want after residency. Even a lazy doctor will make a comfortable living (supposing that loans aren't raping you, and even then, you have ways to manipulate loan repayment so that you never have to finish paying all of it).
Which specialty, medicine-bro?
If we were international men of mystery it would cut into our moe time.
>Jake the Internist
You are nobody's "bro" tripfag.
10 out of 10 would watch
I'm a economic lawyer at Brazil.
Don't know about anime anime related to economic lawyers.
occupation in the 1st season
this guy is my fucking idol anyway
Right now I'm a NEET, but I was a spare parts warehouse manager some months ago and I'm gonna work in a hotel's chains' room reservation services.
I don't think there are any anime with the later, but the former is probably some random character in an /ak/
Actually, yeah it was.
>look, mom, I'm projecting
Go away Jake is one of the non obtrusive tripfags we have.
The issue is that a lot of people end up "stuck" in community college so to speak. They go in thinking they'll be there for 1-3 years getting general courses done and then come out 4-6 years later having half the credits they need and with no more direction than when they first started going. I mean its not the worst thing, its fantastic for people who would otherwise do nothing or just get a wage slave job, but still its not something good for people who have aspirations or want something great for their future.
I'm gonna guess some sort of surgery. Your own damn fault for choosing the specialty that is well-known for having shit hours. Shoulda done derm, bro.
Someone from this terrible movie.
>Removing your nick so you can defend yourself
Unemployed computer scientist.
Not him but I'm in So Cal and it was like fucking 80F last night.
That movies pretty great. It's not very fun, but it's fascinating to watch Oshii's metaphorical contempt for the anime industry.
Are there even any chemical engineers in anime?
shit dude, you're a pirate?
I know, it's ridiculous. And yet he uses it.
What is Aus?
I'm a AH-1 Cobra gunner for the USA Army.
Needless to say, you're all boring, holy shit.
My job is a combination of bitching, suffering and healing.
Hentai has plenty of what I do, but this is close enough.
Same as that one guy in Chobits that worked on a farm in the beginning .
Ruler of my farm
Not a worthy country?
You're a therapist. Or a lawyer.
sounds cool as fuck
I don't know how it's done there but here you need to take an exam for being a specialist and I'm still taking prep school for that while working overnight at ER 3 days a week. Working min 2 years at state hospital is mandatory to take your goddamn license.
Also I think you can guess I'm not that guy.And sorry for late reply.
You're some kind of special ops?
I sell propane and propane accessories.
Wish I was joking.
I have my own small office room, so i rarely have to talk to people and can browse 4chan.
Most of the workers and truck drivers are minorities, so they barely understand english which can be frustrating, but it's pretty chill work.
don't expect pay that is above average though
CEO of an app development company.
You dig holes?
Replace law with Pre-Med
Deck seamen in the navy
Don't know of any maritime defense based animu
I'm a computer engineering student which is probably going to drop it because I can't take it anymore.
I bet you're a hipster
Is that what he was getting at? Shoot, I need to rewatch it now.
N-No just a "C-Cleaner", Anon.
>I have my own small office room, so i rarely have to talk to people and can browse 4chan.
That's what I want, but I have no idea how to get such a thing as someone who knows nothing of anything.
Which boat are you in?
Armyfag here, I'm an Apache gunner.
Im not a cute girl though.
No anime about sanitation man. It isn't cool job.
Ally of justice?
Profession musician in an orchestra, right?
Then you don't belong on /a/
closest thing to physicist I could think of
That's fucking hilarious.
What? Army and Naivy fags have time to lurk 4chan? Shouldn't you be doing push ups by now or anything?
>take an exam for being a specialist
Huh. Where are you from? Somewhere in South America? The mandated 1-2 years as a GP after you graduate seems like a common provision down there. Here in the U.S., we match into a specialty during the fourth year of medical school after doing a gazillion interviews. After residency, you get boarded and get qualified to practice in that specialty. And after that, you can choose to pursue a fellowship if you want, which requires another round of applications and interviews. Since most people who pursue a subspecialty via fellowship right after residency, that happens in the last year of residency.
In the U.S., it's very difficult to practice medicine when you're not officially boarded by the governing board for your specialty of choice. A plain old medical degree gets you the title of M.D. but not much else.
Hell yeah my Pre-Med brethren.
Physics bro reporting in. I do more programming work lately though
Oh boy here we go....
I'm a banker.
I don't think there's any anime that's even mentioned banking?
Nope, brother is though.
I believe you are thinking of president. There is a difference.
Armyfag here, I'm on vacation so I have plenty of time to lurk.
banri is in law school. you're not in law school anon
>tfw no lolis at work
Foxy Spicy Wolf
I'm on the uss Denver. Oldest amphib in the navy and its forward deployed. As a deck seamen, this shit is rough.
I know ;_;
I'm a carpenter.
I don't know of any anime characters who are carpenters. I feel like tradesman are a drastically under-represented group in anime, and all other media.
>tfw all I want is an anime about a big, burly construction worker who secretly likes moe anime and has a waifu and such
Okay, but what are purely college students supposed to post?
How many peoples fortune have you taken?
Apparently it was a metaphorical telling of his rejection of the youth cultural and repetitive protagonists of anime in general. Everyone's replaceable, everyone consists of the same tropes, and everyone's stuck in a delusional adolescence.
It makes a lot more sense when viewed in that context.
Ignore this faggot, that's literally the worst anime I've ever seen. Can't speak for the manga though.
Wasn't the Denver supposed to be decomissioned?
Totally legal bussinessman.
Probably shouldn't be posting with all these army fags here.
I'm a GM of a fast food restaurant. It's not a bad as it sounds. I'm enjoying it.
Pic related my subordinate and I.
I work a full-time job monday - friday and do online courses.
It's hard and I'm dropping out of this job and college once I get into the military.
This is the most ignorant thing I've read all day, and I work with people who average 30 on the ASVAB
What's wrong with being just a MD? Anyway, you guys sure have it easy.
I'm a lawyer.
Is your subordinate a cute busty little girl?
You forgot to mention
>Does she want the D?
It is Q4 of this year but not before one last 4 month underway in the freezing cold S Core-ee-ah.
Shigofumi. Lurk moar.
Well, there's Honey & Clover. One of the characters later decides to become a shrine restore, which involves a metric fuckton of carpentry.
does living in a van count as homeless or does the van count as a "home"?
Military intelligence. This guy is the closest to what my job is, but not quite so.
car parts sales for a scrap yard.
Considering the "Guide for homeless people: How to not fucking die after loosing your house/apartment and job" tells you to keep your van at all fucking costs or you'll be completely at rock bottom, yet still considers people who ONLY have their van as an accommodation as dirty hobos.
I do not agree with that sentiment.
In short: it's up to you.
I thought army was all about discipline and dedicating yourself 100% to your job, so I had no idea they had free time to lurk around the internet. At least not in work days.
You can't really get a job, for one. You're pretty much limited to being a PCP in the middle of nowhere where there are otherwise no other options for the residents, or maybe being a doc-in-a-box at an urgent care center of ill repute.
And I'm not sure if you call it "easy". Residency is shitty hours for minimum wage-tier pay for several years. $45K/year gross pay is okay, but less okay when you're working 80 hours and 6 days a week for 3-7 years.
>ACGME duty hours regulations
Actually I do
Not sure. She just got a wreck and is out for a few months. Just found she is a prego too.
a student who spends all his time gaming
Used goods confirmed. Do not go there anon.
>/a/nons educating our youth
I don't have a character :^)
Never said I did want to.
I do have a waifu to take of you know.
Me neither. :^)
Currently a NEET. I'm on my phone though so no pic. I'd post a pic of Fraw Bow from robotics notes if I could though.
Also, which one of you fags is watching anime on their tablet at the LAX? Hide your power level yo, at least wear earphones.
I think it still means homeless.
Maybe you're a Mobile Homeless.
Specializing in auto racing and general automotive, but I shoot other shit too. I also write from time to time.
Shit job though. Thinking about going back to school and becoming Tada Banri.
Pretty much all of the main characters in Golden Time.
Home is the place you go back to after a busy day. A home is not necessarily a house.
