Tonight on noitaminA, a new original series for the Spring season is being announced with a CM to boot.
Welp, looks like Spring is going to be busy.
I hope it's something retarded and fun
My dick is ready.
No Galilei Donna-quality, p-please.
It will be the new Yuasa original anime.
Guilty Crown retarded fun, Samurai Flamenco retarded fun or C retarded fun?
Guilty Crown retarded fun
>still caring about the rotting corpse that is noitaminA
Psycho Pass was good.
If you want to watch shit pick up the seasonal harem. Don't ruin the Noitamina block for that.
It can be:
-Some josei shit nobody cares about besides ANNfags
-Yuasa original because rumors
-Guilty Crown 2 - Void Bungalow
Psycho Pass 2 doesn't come that soon.
> ruin the Noitamina block
You say it like it's only masterpieces that come from there
>Don't ruin the Noitamina block for that.
>Implying the block hasn't been ruined for years already
Hey, having Guilty Crown and BRS airing at the same time was top.
There are some bad apples and opinions but Guilty Crown was by far the worst Noitamina show. Absolutely no one likes it, not even pleb-tier casuals.
You'd be surpried
Could it be the Watanabe-MAPPA project?
>Guilty Crown was by far the worst Noitamina show
Pff, Psycho Pass was worse and BRS even more.
Are you high? Pleb tier casuals love that shit. And Galilei Donna is probably the new worst Noitamina anime though. There's been a lot of shit on Noitamina
List of Noitamina anime.
Nodame Cantabile Finale
House of Five Leaves
Black Rock Shooter
Kids on the Slope
Silver Spoon 1
Silver Spoon 2
Nanana's Buried Treasure
Top 3 worst noitaimA shows:
2. Galilei Donna
Have there really only been three good anime from Noitamina?
Implying Natsuyuki Rendezvous isn't number one
Jyu-Oh-Sei is easily the worst. Fractale is second. Then you've got Guilty Crown, No. 6, [C], and Galilei Donna to play around with the ordering for.
There have only been two.
That's debatable. What I like about Noitamina is that they don't do generic shows (based just on plot outline). The execution is another matter of course.
My shitty palate thinks that there's at least 9 show that is good.
I see at least three good anime in 2010 alone so there's probably a few more than that.
Remember when they used noitaminA to advertise unique kind of anime?
Now, it's just the same bullshit each season by the same three studios.
I hope it's a josei romance.
1. Honey and Clover
Nodame Contabile, Tatami Galaxy, Kuragehime, Usagi Drop, Thermae Romae, Kids on the Slope, PP, Hourou Musuko.
I would call all this good anime, the others I didn't see or were bad.
I want DQ-like JRPG fantasy shit, the traditional ones.
Once was enough
basicaly just A1 and Production I.G. now.
Atleast for that season.
They already have one LN adaption there.
Hataraki Man, Ayakashi, Eden of the East, Shiki, Tatami Galaxy, Kuuchuu Buranko, Sarai-ya Goyou, and Usagi Drop are pretty good. Psycho Pass, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, and Natsuyuki Rendezvous are passable. AnoHana seems to work for people that like melodrama.
There might be others that escape my recollection; and I don't care enough to look them up.
Would be nice.
Some of the best Noitamina shows were pre 2010 though, Mononoke and Traoeze were absolutely amazing.
What the hell is this?
Why did WIT's animator draw this?
No. 6 was a noitamina show? Wow.
Is that character in a wheelchair? Is that just a thing now?
Stop talking shit about [C], assholes. I liked it, QUALITY and rushed ending and all.
Because they were paid to draw that.
Check your privilege, able-bodied scum.
There were rumors before that WIT will do a Beatless adaption.
Kenji Nakamura sucks
Nobody mentioning Paradise Kiss...
Fuck yeah, about time.
Didn't they do R;N?
R;N was terrible.
I liked Tsuritama a lot, Silver Spoon is also really good.
A full list.
2010 = god tier
2011 = pleb tier
2012 = trying to make themselves relevant again after 2011 tier
2013 = dead
Mountain of garbage.
There is no interesting anime. after a guilty crown.
2014 the glorious year of Originals.
Psycho pass is good? stop the lie please.
that's poor quality copy of SAC.
Does anyone have the skinny on Nanana's Buried Treasure? Is the novel any good?
But it wasn't like SAC, at all.
I went into it thinking that it'd be like SAC and disappointed, but it readily showed us that it was not going to be SAC, it was going to be Psycho-Pass, and that's something different.
I wouldn't count on Psycho Pass 2 getting done for another year since the butcher is busy cutting up fruits. It's the right time for a movie though.
Ayakashi and Mononoke was Noitamina, so no.
Betting its ao haru no ride.
2010 >>>>> 2011 = 2012 > 2013
PING PONG THE ANIMATION
The fucking artstyle
>directed by Masaaki Yuasa
Wow, it's almost ANH bad.
No fucks given.
>original anime being original or even good
They animated Psyco Pass, didnt they?
You serious? Thats really ugly.
The name is animation backwards.
>Aku no Hana all over again
Don't even care.
Fuck Ping Pong.
Should have done Takemitsu Zamurai or Sunny. Those are much better.
As >>100357035 said directed by Yuasa and it's an adaptation of a Matsumoto Taiyou work "Ping Pong" (also known for Tekkon Kinkreet)
>Ping pong. Table tennis. Fast, furious. You might have seen it - even played it - but never anything like this! The action is centered around Tsukimoto ('Smile') and Hoshino ('Peko'); childhood friends who have been playing the sport ever since they were elementary students.
>Tsukimoto - the impassive, bespectacled, seemingly-emotionless boy described as a robot by everyone who knows him, plays "to kill time". Hoshino, the passionate, out-going, charismatic 'hero' who Tsukimoto idolized during their childhood, plays because he "loves ping pong and hates to lose".
>How will the cold, cruel world of competitive sports treat these two who are so different? And what will happen upon their inevitable meeting as contenders for the High School Men's Singles Trophy?
As in looks like it came out of a horses backside.
>People calling Yuasa anime rotoscoped
God damn /a/
I like the setting of it being about Ping Pong but them character designs are disgusting.
I think No.6 and Samurai Flamenco deserve spots in the top 5 though. Un-Go maybe too. God, those shows sucked. Even though Samurai Flamenco isn't done yet, it has gone from okay to pure shit.
This is the least impressive CM I've ever seen. Even the ones with static LN artwork are better.
Why would they think ping pong makes a remotely interesting anime?
I liked Kuragehime, Homos on the slope, Tsuritama
I can almost picture the excitement you felt while typing this out.
>Un-Go will never get a second season
They should hurry with PP second season
Interesting artstyle, looks cool.
I'm just not sure if a show about fucking ping pong of all things can be that interesting.
>hating on Yuasa style
fuck off retards to reddit.
Robotics;Notes was great. Fuck the haters.
Go fap to your Steins;Gate.
>There will never be more Thermae Romae
yup this is Yuasa's handy work
It looks shit and chink pong is a shit sport, but I will watch it.
>>original anime being original or even good
Original anime tends to be about the best thing about anime in general.
Adaptations can be cool, but the originals is where it's at.
I know that it's a practically non-existant sport in Japan. But I just want an ice-hockey anime already.
>Original anime tends to be about the best thing about anime in general.
That's a funny way of saying "original anime do a half-assed job rehashing the same stuff again and again"
About cute girls punching each others teeth out?
LNs and manga already do a half-assed job rehashing the same stuff again and again.
And then the anime studios do a half-assed job at adapting it to the animated medium, making it worse.
Adaptations still make for better anime. Name an original anime (aside from Build Fighters) that has actually been good these last few years.
Tiger & Bunny
Too lazy to think of more
Pfft and just the other day an Anon was bitching about no ping-pong anime.
But none of those were even objectively good
Majestic Prince (It's hardly an adaptation).
Kill la Kill
Milky Holmes (disregard futari wa if you so want to)
Robot Girls Z (it's a spin-off, not an adaptation)
Free (it's a sequel not an adaptation)
I would like to count Leviathan as well.
And of course, Build Fighters, which would have been the #1 on the list.
There were other good original anime too.
