That was a bit of a bullshit ending. But other than that it was pretty bad ass.

...Except...

I still have no fucking idea how to play Mah Jong. I had a better idea of how to bake bread from watching Yakitate Japan, for God's sake
>>
are you trying to say you want to learn

At the time of the ending, the mango was still on the washizu arc too, hence the lack of actual material to work with.

Still probably my biggest gripe with anime in the last few years. I really wanted at least the Washizu arc to end fully.

Just try to get in tenpai

I never understood how people could watch this whole series and still not understand the game. I guess that's because I knew how to play beforehand.

It's just assembling a few groups of 3, along with a pair. Whoever does that first wins.

well, instead of realizing how awesome it is that akagi was on a hell wait for a sha, you see it as him just mentally dominating the guy

Akagi is a prequel to another series so It's a pretty good ending
>>

Not really.

Akagi: MAGICAL HELL CIGARETTE ASH BLOOD FUSION!
> Washizu is revived!
Washizu: BEHOLD MY SUPER-SECRET SPARE HUNDRED MILLION YEN!
> Akagi looks ready for battle!

...

Cut to older Akagi walking on a city street.

WTF?
