How does /a/ feel about Redline?
I thought the animation and character design was bretty gud.
I enjoyed it immensely. Everything looked amazing and the story was good enough to keep my attention for the duration of the movie. Machine head had the best theme.
It was great.
Yellow Line is best line.
Is it just me or have we been having a redline thread every day recently?
It's good, but given how old it is and how I rarely saw threads before, this influx of popularity strikes me as odd.
It's pretty fucking amazing.
Worth the 7 days of downloading.
>not buying the bluray to show your support for SEVEN YEARS
seriously though, it's the only anime I've ever bought
Nothing like Redline will ever be made again
I downloaded the 1080p the day it went up on Nyaa
Then I bought the BluRay with disgusting yellow subs
Every put into animation and none into story or characters. It was the Space Dandy of its time.
It was fun as hell, would compete in an intergalactic race again. I also fell in love with Sonoshee a bit.
Wow dude. That was just uncalled for.
It's objectively true.
I don't like it, you don't like it, but it's reality.
Nothing like Kaiji will ever be made again
>Nothing like Redline will ever be made again
Because nobody is that stupid.
like i said the other thread, if we had a spinoff anime series or at least a short movie with lynchman and johnnyboya in their bounty hunting adventures it'd be awesome as hell.
looked promising like kill la kill, but ultimately disappointed
did pretty much the same. Also bought the OST because dat >MACHINE HEAD
I don't want anything Redline that isn't 20 years hand drawn.
THE KING OBU KING, MISTAR REDLINE MACHINEHEAD TESUJIN
How did it sell?
7 copies per day spent animating.
Like shit. In both Japan and America.
50,000 copies eh?
7 years x 365 days x 7 per day = 50k
u wot m8?
It was good. Great animation, great visuals, great music. Ending was disappointing, plot was nonexistent.
The joke was I was using 20 years >>100331250
I know it wasn't actually 20 years, I was using hyperbole to exaggerate the development time for humorous effect.
ED almost made up for the subpar ending.
It didn't really work. The humor missed its mark and you just ended up looking dumb.
Trava episode 2 never
Sorry, humor over the internet is difficult because I don't know my audience. In person I can better understand which jokes will be appreciated and which will not be.
That's why most comedians shoot for the lowest common denominator, it might not be "Funny" for most people, but at least it will be understandable.
Ending was great, the middle was the bit that let it down cause it had no fucking racing
The ending was fucking beautiful. GOAT ED.
Also I'm never going to get over the fact that the animated intro song will never be longer. The one where it goes DIRECTED BY TAKESHI KOIKE!
The ending is tear inducing if you disagree fuck you.
I'm a huge sucker for anything Key and this is the only work that didn't manage to break a tear from me. (Air and Kanon have not been read as of now)
are you blind ?
I liked the speed
