When did you make the coming of age jump from dub to sub? What made you take this massive leap?
Who the fuck cares?
when i got sick of the fucking horrendous voices and music of the funimation dragon ball dub. just can't watch any other anime dubbed now
You should stop trying to act superior from such choices.
i watch them equally
Holy fuck there are already 3 threads up about dubs, why can't you cancerous little shits stay contained in one thread?
>I just watched a single series with subtitles, better make a thread
Do we really need yet another shitty unoriginal thread like this, OP? Kill yourself.
Watched a few episodes of a show online, (streamed at first too) the next few episodes were in nip, loved it, never went back.
I started out watching dubs, then switched to subs, then did both, then did mostly dubs, then went back to both, and nowadays I do both but am starting to lean toward subs again.
the third season dbz dub was really shit
You are not anime or manga.
I was tired of waiting a week for the next episode of Naruto...
Back in 1996-1997 when I found a rental place near my house that was renting both sub and dub tapes and compared them. I had figured out that anime came from Japan long before, but never had access to actual subs before then.
It was like turning on a light switch. After watching stuff like Sailor Moon, Slayers, Blue Seed, Ranma, Escaflowne and etc subbed, I never looked back.
Ever since I was born because I'm deaf.
Which one. Doesn't each DBZ season have like 2-3 different dubs?
I know there's like 11 different people who've played Goku. That alone would keep me from watching it dubbed.
Well, let's see here, I believe it was the first season of Shana that I first watched German subbed back in the days. I wouldn't remember for sure, though. It was good, so I never turned back.
Couldn't say when it happened, but it happened because I had watched all the dubbed stuff, and wanted more. Of course there's more subbed than dubbed, so started watching subbed, and well never went back.
>not watching both dub and sub if the dub is known to be good
Cute girls don't get dubs on my language.
Given that logic, not a single dub should be watched.
No, fuck Baccano, and fuck Black Lagoon. The shows themselves were great.
not really a conscious choice for me
>saw a (dubbed) episode of anime on TV
>wanted to see more, but didn't want to deal with TV troubles, so I found it online
>it was subbed
subs ever since
