See you in a year, anon.
But why, it doesn't need one though if Shaft was doing it I wouldn't mind.
Shaft really would be nice. The LN's are perfect the way they are, but I'd like to see how they could be adapted to anime form.
Is it good? I thought about reading it.
Don't say that anon
You'll jinx it
The only studio that can possible pull this one off
would kyoani with takemoto at the helm
If not then either P.A Works or J.C staff at their A-Game
More like volume 7 fucking when?
If you want to read a slice-of-life mystery done right, look no further.
>no gothloli Kazuki animated
>no Kaichou murdering everyone animated
>no Kazuki slow descent into madness animated
It's either SHAFT or nothing. I think only they could pull this adaptation off without problem. KyoAni wouldn't have the guts to make all that corpses and blood.
I don't fucking want KyoAni. I fucking hate that shitty studio
Now, easy on the autism son. Hyouka was very good.
Though I admit they really aren't the type to animate something like Hakomari.
Maybe it would work if ufotable does it, just like the KnK movies.
I want the guy that directed the 5th movie.
I just checked and since then he has only done Gyo.
What the fuck.
Well, that convinced me. Thanks.
Can someone spoil to me what happens at the end of volume 6?
what is google?
Mild spoilers: Drama ensues. Kazu going mad yandere and Maria changed persona.
Kazuki kills Daiya with a screwdriver.
I got that far. Honestly since volume 3 and the tear drinking The LNs felt like fucking fanfiction.
Did Maria forget about him though? Did they use flawed bliss?
I'd love to see an adaptation of hakumari but it isn't as popular as it should be in Japan so (even if they like the LNs) no studio would take the risk.
Only shaft will be able to do this one
She definitely uses Flawed Bliss, but whether she actually loses her memories is left for volume 7.
Technically it is a huge risk. But personally, if any big name studio picked up and adapted this LN well, its popularity would spread like wildfire.
Shaft's destiny unlike monogatari.
>She definitely uses Flawed Bliss, but whether she actually loses her memories is left for volume 7.
Maybe David could pull it off?
I agree but the most of the studios want a series to have a certain extent of popularity, which other (bad, clichéd) LNs have like Mahouka.
Do not deny the effectiveness of these head tilts.
is she best girl?
I can't even see this pretentious style any more. Could not imagine a Kazu or Kokone head tilt that would look good.
She nearly hasn't any contest, but yeah she is.
>Implying Goth!Kazuki isn't best girl.
Not on Hakomari, no. Honestly, I think Shinbou's style is a bit too in your face for something like Hakomari in the first place.
In which volume is Kazu in that gothic look again? Need to rearead embarrassed Kazu and the reactions.
If I remember correctly, I think it's volume 3.
But if it's not Shaft, who will be able to adapt Hakomari good enough?
Thank you, based anons.
Shaft could still do it, I'm just not sure about Akiyuki Shinbou as the animation director.
Not so much a problem of animation studios but directors.
I personally like Brains Base direction.
Reading this is confusing the fuck out of me.
Go read the first few pages of volume one if you haven't, that will be more confusing as this thread at first.
link to online reading ploxploxplox... I"m the non-downloading master race... computers are not supposed to download things anymore
Shinbou made Nisekoi look shaft original with head tilts, weird architecture and stills. Hakomari would suffer of the same.
Use image search?
You have Google, use it.
Baka Tsuki has all the novels translated on the site, so you won't have to download shit.
Volume 7 when?
He's busy writing another LN.
I'm surprised Eust didn't pick this up. Is he working on a different project?
Eust said he might pick it up, IIRC.
When did he say this? That'd be amazing.
He's currently translating another of his LNs I believe.
You guys are fucktarded, this is the worst choice possible.
A lot of people are saying Shaft probably because of O.
SHAFT animating this is better than KyoAni turning this into a moeshit show.
shit.... where are the pictures?
is this a text only kinda thing???
Let me also add on, I hate it when Kyoani picks up LN's, they are 99% of the time, going to deviate greatly from the source materials.
That's only the case with adaptations of their own LNs.
What about Hyouka?
They only deviate when they adapt their own (shitty) novels.
KyoAni is worthless nowadays and this is will never happen, but if HakoMari was adapted like Hyouka, it would be amazing.
Shaft would kill the tension with their talking heads and visual gimmicks.
It's as well-suited to Shinbou's style as Dance in the Vampire Bund was.
>Reads the 1st novel
>boring, takes a month to finish
>starts second novel
>finish the series in one week
Volume 7 when?
That's funny because the second novel is the worst.
that's not your own oppinion, you said that because someone else said it was the worst novel. I saw someone else say it.
They're obviously waiting to announce the anime until after the series ends, so that we are guaranteed a full adaptation.
Or, it's actually going to happen. Dengeki Bunko is going to be announcing some anime adaptations soon, HakoMari could be one...in a world where HakoMari is actually popular enough to get one.
>I saw someone else say it.
You should probably give them some proof, and not make empty assumptions like that like a little kid. If you act like this on 4chan, you're probably gonna get a lot of shit.
>after the series ends,
I'm more inclined to think they'll make the anime to promote the last volume.
The chances are so low, though.
The novel is really not popular in Japan and there's several more likely options, like a new Horizon anime, Owari no Chronicle, or Heavy Object, or one of the endless harems that they produce.
I can't imagine it getting more than 12 episodes half-assed to cover the first...4-ish volumes, by Madhouse or someone. Sells like shit, sequel never.
Is this as good as mal seems to think it is?
It has some pacing issues, but is overall pretty good.
the only good thing about kyoAni is the animation, everything else is shit, they are awful at story telling
who knows, they are funcking wierd.
Only because they don't think the source material is good enough, I don't see them changing too much and if Takemoto is directing it it would be perfect.
Both Shaft and Kyoani could do it but Shaft is not as good at atmosphere as Kyoani and this would benefit from having it.
How would you do 'O' anons?
Have both studios working on it together.
This thing is too hard to adapt. I can't think about an anime adaptation without saying "damn, this is just not going to work".
Not to mention the painful thought that they'd not bother to finish it, or that they'd rush it awfully.
You're proving an amazing lack of imagination.
You should send your resume, you're ready for the anime industry.
