Has there ever been a show that got really hyped up on the internet and then bombed drastically?
Nope. Never in the history of anything has that ever happened.
Last Exile Sequel
There's been several every year for a long time.
Yes, lurk more.
Also, dandy is flopping, remember that.
>not having recycled kawaii-desu garbage
>HURR ITS FLOPPIN FUCKIN CASUAL
kill la kill sure saved anime lol
But really, it's flopping on the preorders, lasti time I heard it was even lower than pupa.
Even if you are being ironic, stop that shit.
Kill la Kill
In the opposite direction everyone fucking sperged over Free
>Kyoani is FINISHED
But then it did pretty well.
Get out and stop shitposting ignorant shitstain.
That wasn't my image. This is the 2nd time my pic has been swapped with blacks.
Isn't Space Dandy flopping?

4chan is saying you're a nigger
That happens like two or three times a season. Predictions of top sellers are notoriously wrong.
Free flopped is too great of a pun to pass up but I don't think people expected it to do terribly in the first place. It was just backlash at Kyoani not making FMP or Haruhi or Lucky Star or Hyouka or whatever and instead making a show about scantily clad buff as fuck high school dudes. /a/ sure wasn't the target audience but Kyoani shows always sell. A better example would be Arpeggio, which everyone expected to sell like shit and instead came out at the top of its season.
But Kill la Kill is obviously shit.
Free! was decent. Most of the "hate" was shitposting about that series.
Also, we all have already assumed they'll never make another season of Haruhi.
So? Read the OP.
The Thundercats reboot, promising beginning but soon became apparent the writers couldn't find their butts with their hands.
Was awesome if you have a foot fetish, though
You're not making any sense. Maybe you've had enough internet today /a/non.
STUDIO4°C is a nip company so its at least half related.
He said bombed retard, kill la kill is selling, even if it's shit.
Yeah, Arpeggio came out of the blue steel for most anons, but having seen the popularity of KanColle, it should have been somewhat expected.
Korra S2 was half animated by Pierrot (Naruto/Bleach studio) but it's still /co/ as the entire production staff outside of animation are western.
Why are you aspies so picky about this shit? Its in an anime style, its made by nips but its just catered to a western culture, why not have both?
The writers, directors, producers etc are western.
Lots of anime have Korean outsourcing for the animation but they're still Japanese animation.
That got a lot of interest after episode 1 and then bombed, barely anyone had paid any attention to it before it aired.
What problems do people have with Space Dandy? I thought it was alright.
It's meaningless and has no direction. It's the manly version of moe slice of life.
Shin Seaki Yori.
The dub is shit.
It seemed like there's going to be alternate universes and other crazy stuff like that that comes to a head in the climax. I could be wrong but the thought of that is interesting.
>talking shit while posting an image of our lord and savior
It's supposed to be funny.
And what did he save exactly rat?
The bait in this thread astounds me.
That show that aired after Sora no Woto.
Not on the net, I think, but Kiba was pretty hyped in Japan but flopped.
So obvious anime-inspired shows have no place on an anime board? What logic is that?
Anime inspired =! anime, take it to /co/
Space Dandy is the disappointment of the year.
