2 more weeks
I can't wait much longer.
You'll have to wait till it starts airing even longer then.
To be honest, I'm awfully nervous for when they announce it
Why is Shirou so upset?
Shirou is never happy.
Let's hope it's Heavens Feel. I"d be happy with UBW too but Heavens Feel connects with Fate/Zero the best.
How hyped would you be if they announced they were adapting each route? Each with Fate/Zeros budget.
and they run out of budget nearing the end of each route?
This looks like a fun show to shitpost this Summer. I don't watch shonenshit but with this airing with Sword Art Online it's going to be a blast.
Not upset. Focused.
Okay maybe up the budget so that shit doesn't happen.
Doomed to life as a ginger
This is harmshit more than shonenshit.
they said that all fans will be pleased
and they showed clips from all 3 routes in the PV
a good attempt at baiting. I commend you
do you guys reallt hate , love or love'hate Fate?
you are making me confuse
is it just me or is Shirou's command seal looking a bit different?
It seems he used already a command already.
Last I checked haremshit didn't have people fighting over some magic cup. Type-Moon is basically just like Raildex.
UFOTABLE SAVING ANIME
Fucking this. Based ufotable saving anime from the Kyoani moeshit plague.
Hey...what was the first use of his command spell in Unlimited Blade Works?
He wasted it on something stupid IIRC
You mean Raildex is like Type-Moon?
When he stopped Saber from attacking Archer. That choice puts you right into the UBW route.
He stopped Saber from attacking Archer.
Will F/SN Lancer not die a bitch death?
Because the Shirou in OP's pic is secretly aware of all the different F/SN continuities.
He's sick and tired of having to go through all that shit, and just wants to finally go ahead and become an ally of justice already.
Right, right. I knew it was something obvious that I was forgetting.
What was it in Fate?
Is that a Kajiura version of EMIYA?
/a/ is not a hivemind, etc, etc
They didn't show anything from Fate. Good riddance anyway.
Only in UBW. Where he dies as the truest Celt to ever live.
I'm pretty sure it was when he called Saber to save him after Rider fucked him up about a third of the way through the route.
>mfw it's Fate
Probably gonna be a mashup of all 3 routes though.
They just showed clips from the OPs they made for the vita release. It means nothing.
Does Shirou get to have sex with all three ladies at once?
Mashup of 3 routes, Saber Lily saves the day
Called Saber when he was thrown off the school building while fighting Rider.
UBW Lancer dies the same way. He actually survives it long enough to revenge-kill his master, free Rin, make Shinji his bitch, and starts a fire that ends up saving the group from Gilgamesh.
UBW Lancer is not a bitch death though.
It's the 2012 version, from that collection cd. I liked the #Legacy one, too.
I might be wrong but didn't he also use it in the other two routes to stop Saber from finishing off Rin? I'm almost certain of this.
SAKURA WINS LOL
Nothing was confirmed. From the sound of >>100314330 it'll either be all three routes done one after another, or they'll make me infinitely mad by somehow combining them all into an even shittier adaptation than the nonexistent Tsukihime adaptation.
>mfw it's a mix of all routes
Stop making threads about it, it just makes the wait feel longer.
Not that I remember.
No, he just tells her to stop.
Only bitch death is arguably HF.
>fight Gilgamesh for 12 hours
>proceed to show Deermud how True Celtic Heroes die
So /a/, any staff predictions? I'd say it's very likely Sudou will handle character designs since Ikariya should be busy with Yoshiura's Animemirai short at the moment.
Director: Takuya Nonaka
Character designer/Chief animation director: Tomonori Sudou
...That's the whole point of the spoiler there anon. Both end up impaling themselves due to command spells, but Cu turns things around gloriously once Battle Continuation does it's thing. For all intents and purposes it started as a bitch death until Lancer disregarded his shit luck rolls with sheer valor.
Hirao as director pls.
What? No he didn't.
Can't see that happening since he just finished directing Majocco, at best he'll be unit director on F/SN.
>You mean Raildex is like Type-Moon?
Yes. You have an MC that has some sort of power and he has woman that are incredibly strong as haremfuel.
Thats exactly what they are going to do though.
They showed quite a bit from Fate. Are you blind or stupid?
It's fatter and wider than the VN.
No. Please post the screenshots.
Still frustrated from the events of Zero I see
She has every right to be, to be fair to her.
I just hope the new anime is written by Gen Urobuchi. You know a story is great if it's written by Gen Urobuchi.
Are you actually retarded?
>You know a story is great if it's written by Gen Urobuchi.
I want to protect that scorn.
What? She is just serious.
I don't know what I want. I loved all three routes. I just hope that if it is Heavens Feel they don't try to focus on wormslut that much to make up for what Nasu considers a failure.
>Not the vast majority of cooking with sluts
I'm hyped as fuck but I already know that i will be tremendously disappointed by whatever ost is going to replace spiritual abyss. and by ufotable's uncute saber
James Harris, actually.
>mfw Taiga Dojo at the end of every episode
I'm confused about something, If I have a male servant, I need to have gay sex with him to restore his powers?
Only if you are not a traditional master and can't transfer mana unconsciously.
Also I want HF because I love but also I want to see them deal with the Emiya/Einzbern family situation.
VN did a good job but with F/Z already being animated I believe the relationship between Shirou and Illya can be done even better.
Also Shirou's relationship with Kirei and things from Kirei's POV.
Even in HF, Cu still goes down pretty gloriously. He fights True Assassin, but ends up getting his heart ripped out because he didn't know what the fuck the Servant he was fighting against was.
>got his heart ripped by assassin and dies without even realizing what killed him
how can you call that glorious?
assassin lancer are the true warriors of FSN, they don't give a shit about alliances and holy grail, just want some good fights (berserker doesn't count because he has no lucidity to begin with)
Shirou is the biggest fucking faggot japan has created so far. I want Rin and Saber, Fuck off Shirou weak lame ass MC.
You clearly haven't read the visual novel.
You can keep Saber and Rin if I get Shirou.
Berserker was confirmed to just want a good fight once he reclaims his reason though. Meanwhile Archer, who spends most of UBW scheming, backstabbing, and just being dick promptly switches gears and disregards his one hope for the sake of stopping the shadow in HF. Most people eligible for the knight classes are warriors in the sense that they will throw themselves into battle regardless of what lies in store for them/what they lose.
I don't care if she's in highschool and only 17-18, I'd Sakura and Rin without a second thought
Do you know what a budget is?
Be careful of the worms
Everyone is at least 18 so it is fine
You can Rider and Rin
Shirou and Rin are in second year, so they're 16-17, Sakura is a first year so she's 15-16.
That is, in the Realta Nua version. No sex scenes here, no sir.
Japanese Anime/VN I know I know.
But no 15-17 year old looks like any of them do.
Shirou is easily 18-25 and so is Rin when she loses the pigtails and wears something formal.
Everyday until you like it.
Also I'm surprised sperglords are not telling us to go back to /jp/, I guess things have changed since I was last on /a/
Shirou is only 167cm tall. Iirc that's shorter than Touma too.
They're all pretty young, they've just gone through some shit.
No I dont read those, but ur saying hes a badass in the novel or what
>HF is animated
>My face during the later parts of the route
I love the route so much but the fact that I will be emotional worn out is something I am afraid of.
This threads' topic is about the adaptation in the first place. Even sperglords have a certain level of reasoning.
What? F/SN has been /a/ related since forever bro.
Badass only applies at times, more "lovably insane".
The male Japanese average is 170cm. Go figure.
I remember when /jp/ split off of /a/ mods were being cunts and people were sage bombing any fate related thread in /a/ because they said it belonged in /jp/
>his shit luck rolls with sheer valor.
>shit luck rolls
Do any of you have an inkling of understanding as to what the LCK stat is about in this series? Or is the meme really that far gone?
Type-Moon is a special case situation
It will always be /a/ related
You can be talking about the VN alone and it will still be fine as TM will always be /a/ relevant.
I was there aswell and that never happened. Much of /a/ in 2007 watched the anime and liked it, then moved on to the VN once the translation had been released.
Pretty sure this was after the split aswell, bro.
>Kajiura doing the music
Doomed to failure. Get Kawai back.
>Never read the VN
animated Mind of Steel when
Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero are literally ufotable's biggest successes.
>that feel 177cm, 28 years old, and look exactly like my 8th grade graduation picture
Getting carded when I go to the movies blows...
Will Kariya have some cameos? You know, if they want to dig deeper in Sakura's development
I'll take a right Shirou with a helping of Middle afterwards.
...Are you really complaining about luck jokes when even Type-Moon poke fun at Lancers and E-rank Luck?
>>proceed to show Deermud how True Celtic Heroes die
>implying Diarmuid died like a bitch.
Sought out glory, fought for glory, defended his master's honor even when the man was being an A rank asshole, and was done in by the one intelligent personal decision Kayneth ever made.
And did not die crying about it. He rage quit over a complete misunderstanding and told them that greed would get them in the end. And it did. Please point out the actual bitch moment for the class.
>Find out Nasu has done another VN
>Read the Fate route of FSN
>too depressed to ever start any of the other routes.
fuck my life.
Hopefully not. That failiure needs to keep the fuck inside F/Z.
Brief, vauge and passing remarks about him not in name will be fine and fitting, considering what little he achieved.
is Kajiura confirmed?
>that feel when 188cm
Though I don't go to the movies.
If Fate's ending upset you, you may be happy to know that another ending to it was released and has been patched into the PC version of the game.
That ending is the perfect finisher to Fate.
Finish it. The routes get better each time. HF>UBW>Fate
That part where stabs himself and cries tears of blood.
Depressed at how bad it is I suppose. Fate is crap, UBW and HF are the good ones.
Shirou gets the same growth spurt Waver has coming.
Fukou da, Kamijou kun.
Finish it for two reason
Other two routes are just as good if not better
Realta Nua. Won't spoil you but FUCKING READ THE WHOLE VN
>that feel when 196cm
Step it up, mongrels.
My order always was UBW > Fate 2nd half = HF 2nd half >> Fate 1st half = HF first half
Finish it and get the "Last Episode" patch.
FINISH IT. She's waiting.
Realta Nua was shit. I thought everbody thought so.
Realta Nua is great having you finish the whole game to unlock it
Now if the Tsukihime remake will include the Tsukihime manga ending which Nasu even said was perfect that would be great.
I wasn't saying I'm happy I'm tall, I was saying I'm happy I share the same height with Archer.
It was, but it did add a few nice CGs and Last Episode.
When did everyone mean you?
The split didn't happen until the third (& final) Message Saga. Before that point, there were sperglords on both /a/ and the newly-created /jp/ spamming TM threads. However, there was great conversation had in spite of that, instead of giving in to the trolls as usual (at least until that one faggot posted "Shiki can kill Servants" and sparked the powerlevel war to end all powerlevel wars...until How to kill Accelerator came along).
Well, being that tall is more a curse than a blessing, though.
Every time I hear it all the hairs on my body stand up
I meant Last Episode.
Fuck Dolphins,Dragons, and Vampires.
I was talking about Last Episode. The CGs are great.
It was so bad I just thought of it as obvious.
Let me educate you newfag. I've read and finished both Tsukihime and FSN and this is what I can say.
What makes Tsukihime better than FSN is the atmosphere, you can feel the danger, the drama, the mindfuck. The music does a better job to add to the atmosphere than FSN. The characters interactions are so superior to the character interactions of FSN that it hurts, and the slice of life segments and Shirou's PoV are fucking annoying. FSN plot is too forced at times, some times they lead to plot holes, weak plot or unexplainable developments. Tsukihime's plot flows better, it's simple and credible...
Tsukihime's plot is also more mature, each resolution have more weight to them 1) Arc and Shiki didn't end up in good terms in 2) After every single of the Far Side of the Moon routes, Arc and Ciel will keep hunting Roa, 3) Akiha ends up as a doll in one ending, 4) Akiha and Kohaku die in another end, 5) Hisui's Good End wasn't precisely happy. In F/sn, only 2 characters couldn't be saved: 1) Ilya in UBW, 2) Saber and Ilya in HF. Shirou never actually shows his resolve when it comes to deal with people who are prepared to kill, and the story does not have serious and mature Masters - aside from Zoken and the only time Shirou had to confront one of his friends, was in HF against Black Saber. Shiki, on the other hand, had to fight Arc, Ciel, Akiha, and Satsuki at some point - there's also the point when he realises all what Kohaku has been doing. FSN is just too light and aimed at teenagers. That why the dark and cold as ice Tsukihime is superior. Get it?
>I was talking about Last Episode
Edgelord please go.
>>Read the Fate route of FSN
>>too depressed to ever start any of the other routes.
Oh boy are you in for a ride.
I hate EMIYA for that reason as anytime I hear it I automatically get pumped up. I have been half asleep in be and start playing it in my mind and my body wakes up on it's own
Reason why I can't even watch the trailer again
I can imagine, finding clothes is already a bitch for me.
Maybe I should just start rolling around in a leather jacket without a shirt, too?
Not seen this pasta in a while.
Almost as stale as the "Im worried about Type Moon" one
You are just butthurt and read Tsukihime first.
Shirou is one retarded MC on that route
Are you ready for the Taiga?
>replying to pasta
For what purpose?
Still hate how the Prisma anime ruined almost everyone's design.
Oh god, not the Taiga!
Hey turd nugget, did you even finished both?
Hardly, he just falls into the 'I'm shit at explaining so let me make the MC say 'you lost me' so I can stress the info to readers' too much.
Still better than Deen's designs.
Since when was the fruits of Takeuchi's crocodile tears to Nasu considered edgy?
And yeah, RN on a whole is mediocre, save for the voices, a handful of scenes, and Takeuchi's apologist Last Episode.
What's the matter, can't handle the fluffy?
Expect a lot of that when the anime airs.
>Ever matching someone capable of keeping up with Saber in melee
Sometimes, delusions run too far...
I doubt it.
We'll probably get one after the first half and one after it's over, like they did with F/Z.
You are foolish, young grasshopper. Nasu has confirmed that TAIGA is the STRONGEST!
>Tsukihime manga ending
FFUUUUCK!? I stopped reading the manga because it didn't seem all that different.
Now I've got to pick that shit back up again. Speaking of, I hate Ciel's new look. What was wrong with the way she looked in Melty Blood...
do you have dat six-packs?
HF is much better with RN. The other routes are more or less the same.
That reminds me
Can't wait to see how they market it over the world.
F/Z was big and I expect this to be bigger once they get more information.
With stats like these, there's no way Taiga could lose!
Doesn't the F/Z art book mention something about her stopping a meteor?
>Shiki can kill Servants
B-But that's not even true! In the first place, servants can't even be hurt by physical weapons.
>stopped reading the manga
>stopped reading a story where Shiki tears apart stuff with his bare hands
Just for the record before you get too carried away, that ending was always somewhat planned however Nasu decided to leave it out in the first addition of the game since he wanted to try and be deep and have a melancholic ending.
The fan reaction convinced him to bring it back and rework it.
It fits perfectly within the route narritive. And its interesting since it means that both ends of Fate could be concurrent i.e. Shirou gets on with life without Saber like in Continuation of the Dream and strives to achieve his ideals and LE is the result of that lifetime.
Its a 2nd epilogue, in a way.
The manga was pretty good, I don't understand why /a/ never mentions it.
I-I'm working on it, alright..!
No. Say what you want about their animation and between cells, Deen's designs are actually damned good. Save for a scant few examples.
Pic related: it's Shriou with too much Heroin.
Too tall is annoying though. No Japanese shirts for me because they're all too small.
Can't Shiki kill the concept of that requirement?
Best NP. You guys are just butthurt.
That shit was shit though. That was almost fanfiction tier. The rest was good though, and combining the Near Side routes and fleshing out Roa's relationship with Ciel was nice, as was adding some Demon Akiha.
>all dem bishounen sparkles
Yeah, but Aoko took the glory for it.
We had a huge thread when the final chapter got translated
Tsukihime's Arc ending was good, though.
Bittersweet and stuff.
Also Shiki dies in like five years no matter how happy the ending is, so it kind of invalidates all the happiness.
They were shit. His face felt thin and his eyes were crap.
Shiki would be dead long before a chance appears.
Servants are things that exist, and therefore Shiki is able to destroy them. Now, we all know being able to cut people is completely different from eing fast and strong enough to connect a hit.
He couldn't keep it out, especially when he'd had planned to keep HF True like it as well but not gone through with it.
Is it just me or is Taiga's design perfect? I can't find a flaw in it.
>following the lines with his hands
>does it to his bed in like the third paragraph of the novel
Yes, but Arc's route also had the Good Ending where Arc just comes back and chills out with Shiki.
The ONLY route where Nasu has gone for a true melancholic ending and no "good" or "happy" end was Akiha's route.
>not listening to the REMIYAXv3 every morning before work
>49 straight minutes of remiya theme remixes masterfully pieced together.
UBW's ending had me on the verge of tears. I can't imagine myself watching that well animated.
Lines arnt something that can be fucking cut with hands, the are so very fucking fine you need a knife to do it.
Fucking fanfiction tier stuff rotting people's brains.
No, no. You are wise beyond your years, to see Taiga and understand her flawlessness.
God Im so fucking anxeious
If the trailer just showed things from before any major route decisions then I would assume Fate but the fact they showed all the route openings has me be unable to even guess what route it is.
Taiga confirmed for best servant
SAy what you want about HF but UBW will forever be my favorite version of FSN and it's canon in my head.
Well, there's Kagetsu Tohya.
His luck was shitty enough that his original Master was gullible enough to get tricked by the shadiest priest in existence, got her Command Seals stolen, allowing for said shady priest to become Lancer's new Master.
That's some shit level luck right there.
Actually, he cuts up his bed with a cutlery knife that he was given when provided with a meal in hospital.
>Shirou truly is a hero
You realize that I am aware of the truth and it doesn't alter my feelings nor my opinion on that apologist subtraction from an otherwise excellent route, right?
And that, even with the truth, it still sounds like something Takeuchi likely begged Nasu for, given the track record of that one constantly coercing Nasu and his works, right?
And that it actually steps on the neck of the theme, tone, and characterization of Fate on a whole, right?
They are animating the grail war that led to archer.
Go read the VN. OR Kara no Kyoukai.
I wouldn't say they're masterfully pieced together, but honestly I do the same when jogging.
his pauldrons aren't big enough
>not listening to v5
So did anyone ever fucking translate Fate/Hollow Ataraxia?
I remember clearing it with a text hooker and separate translator. It was dicks but at least I understood the story.
HF was great, but UBW is much better as a story. Besides it was FSN, HF focuses too much on shit that's only in that route.
>does it to his bed in like the third paragraph of the novel
Load it up and conceed, he says it isn't narrow enough and grabs a fruit knife.
It is funny comparing characters in DEEN versus Ufotable as it really shows how bad DEEN was.
I prefer HF just because I like seeing Sakura end up happy.
LE did nothing but add to Fate, bro.
I know you are just doing this for bait reasons but any fan of Fate is a fan of LE.
And it was the fans that "begged" for it, not Takeuchi. Especially when the fans realised it was originally taken out for shallow stylistic reasons.
The word for Heroin originated from Heroine.
Thanks, QI for teaching me random trivia! The word trivia originates from when three roman roads would cross in a Y shape, there would be signs telling people what was where.
>So did anyone ever fucking translate Fate/Hollow Ataraxia?
>Implying you wouldn't trust Kirei
Just look at that smile, how can't you trust him?
But anon, >>100321142 is on to something.
If we play our cards right we can end it forever.
>Every being translated fully
what a standup guy. I'd vote him for mayor.
He tore True Assassin a new asshole pretty easily; it was only when Assassin retreated and used Shadow to cover him that Lancer finally fumbled because of a poor play on his part. He tried rocketing across the water in order to continue with his fight, but he underestimated just what kind of beast Shadow truly was as it ate all of his runes instantly. Then Lancer started dodging and just tried to get across the water by force, but that was when True Assassin took advantage of the situation and struck Lancer from a position that Lancer thought was impossible with voodoo.
My favorite parts of the HF are the parts that fuck Sakura over, though.
I prefer Spark/Liner High, Mind of Steel, and Normal End.
Takeuchi does not beg for anything. You seem to misunderstand at a fundamental level how TM is run and the relationships of its main people.
Whatever Takeuchi wants, goes. And in this case, he let Nasu try his melancholic end but after fan reaction decided to put the end they took out back in.
>to make up for what Nasu considers a failure.
He's never directly or even indirectly said he considered it a failure.
Crazy how something as popular as the Fate/X franchise is in this translating purgatory, even if the sequel is crap/fan-disc tier/whatever you wish to call it.
But it's already been decided. Nasu said the Eyes can identify lines on a Servant, and it's up to the user to be able to trace them. Basically, if you somehow restrained a Servant for Shiki to cut, he'd kill him, while shooting at him with a gun would do jackshit because Servants are ghosts.
>And that it actually steps on the neck of the theme, tone, and characterization of Fate on a whole, right?
Except it does not do that at all.
If anything, it caps off Shirou's life after Fate extremely well whilst staying completely within the confines of the route.
He begs for twincest maids.
Well, HF Normal Ending would kill you at that rate then
Of all the /Stay Nights, Taiga is the most olev.
>shipping Hisui with such damaged goods
You guys have already read this complete in-character doujin, right?
They didn't: Prologue, HF and a bit of UBW.
He is the resident "hurr I hate LE because a heroine I dont like got a good end I dont approve of" fag.
He is alays trying to bait people. Dont reply.
He didnt beg. He said
>"Nasu, this is good but it is missing something"
>"What is it missing, Takeuchi?"
>"Oh...ok I can put a maid in as a heroine if you li-"
>"T-two maids!? F-fine, I'll start on them right now..."
>He couldn't keep it out
Except that the PC version functioned damn-fine without it, story-wise and financially.
Are you just counting titles, or do you mean what actually happens in the VN itself?
>She lives and it's all hunky dory
>She recovers and locks herself away and Shiki goes to kill a living carnivorous forest for her
>He destroys the slim remnants of his childhood memories as a Nanaya and gets on Arc's bad side, which means he's pudding the next time they meet. But now he gets to ride Curry like she stole something from him...until the Church gets their fangs in him.
Fuck you all of that was tragically sad. ;_;
>Makes it better
Where's that "I'm so happy for you" pic when I need it?
Hidoi yo~ /a/non-kun.
>Basically, if you somehow restrained a Servant for Shiki to cut
He wouldn't be able to cut them in the first place, and the only way he could restrain them is having Arc use her ME, which is a waste since she could beat any servant by herself.
I was listening to this while I saw that picture
Couldn't, as in couldn't justify it.
That's the point, dumbass. IF Shiki managed to put a knife through a Servant's lines somehow, the Servant would get cut up like any chair. But Shiki isn't physically able to keep up with a Servant's speed.
There's also the fact that Tohno's brain would probably explode.
A lot of people forget that Tohno Shiki's brain is not compatible with his eyes in the way Ryougi's is. Looking at the death of mortals is simple. Seeing the death of a vampire, who is already a shambling corpse, is easy. Seeing the death of inanimate objects isn't impossible, but causes strain. Seeing the death of a ghost or concept, like Ryougi is able to do, is past anything he's seen to do in Tsukihime.
Maybe when he's fully grown and his eyes are so developed he has to blind himself to not die from seeing so much death (aka "Satsujinki"), but no time before, which is him at every part of Tsukihime and Melty Blood (bar the distant epilogue of Tsukihime which nobody can actually tell when it is).
So Arc>Servants except serious Gil, correct?
If Shiki can catch Arc off guard and 'kill' her, is it truly so outrageous to believe the same could happen with a servant?
Also, R. Shiki =/= T. Shiki. Her eyes and how she interacts with the lines are completely different.
That had nothing to do with Lancer's luck and everything to do with Kotomine being Kotomine before Lancer was even a possibility in Bazett's life.
It's long-since been established that all that is needed to cut the lines is for the MEoDP user to have an inclined plane. Shiki could kill with a screwdriver if he wanted. His fingernails work just fine. He DID sink them up to the knuckle in the VN. He just didn't trace anything until he picked up the knife.
And now I've learned something today. Thanks!
>Kara no Kyoukai, which I just got around to watching
I don't deserve so much Ufotable and Yuki Kajiura. This will be amazing regardless of what route they choose.
I fucking cried during this. I would be so mad if that was animated instead of the true end. Although that wouldn't happen since the normal end doesn't have Shirou and Kotomine having a bare-handed fight to the death in front of the Great Grail.
The lines are the same, different people will see the same shit
Nasu was talking about Ryougi Shiki. Only Ryougi could see servants lines due to how her eyes are set up.
T. Shiki wouldnt be able to and his mind would implode if he was.
It's a hypothetical situation anon. If Shiki can cut a Servant, than yes his MEoDP would effectively end them.
The thing is that, in most possible situations, he would be dead before he can react.
UFO table is all well and good but...
FUCKING $500 FOR THERE KARA NO KYOKAI SET!?
And another what $250 for the FIRST season of Fate/Zero?
I know it's not so much UFOtable as the US publishers, but fucking STILL. It's like they want us to pirate it.
No, Arc is the strongest in the FSN universe
Yeah, because those super-fast servants sure have a great track record at instantly assassinating masters.
>the Servant would get cut up like any chair
Except they wouldn't, BWAKA. You can't cut servants with ordinary weapons.
>My existence is defined as an ideal that expects nor asks, nor demands reward
>My power is a metaphor for being the perfect tool, used by everyone, thanked by no one. Never surrendering, always pursuing the impossible.
>My logic and reason never let me win arguments or sway people with charisma. Only those that look at my actions closely understand I'm set for self-destruction, and I tell them I'm fine with it because there really IS nothing wrong with helping others.
>oh btw I get rewarded with mai waifu in the console remake
I've lurked hundreds of TM threads and never saw this, thats hilarious.
I'm very sad Caster never had any H scenes in either Stay Night or even Ataraxia... she has such a fine body.
Also dem pointy ears. I'd nibble them.
That's a funny way to spell ORT.
Only Ryougi can see servant lines and you need a weapon of noble phantasm level to be able to hurt/cut them.
No, not really. She's a Type, there's other types.
Yeah, because what is plot.
Well now that ain't even fucking true.
ORT up in this.
How many bad ends were there in F/SN again?
Yes it does.
The scene just doesn't appear until the second time you view it, the choice for Excaliblasting comes AFTER the fight.
HF Normal Shirou just doesn't fucking stop, which is part of why I prefer it over True.
>Expect a lot of that when the anime airs.
I will never be ready.
>He begs for twincest maids.
I don't see a problem with that. Why did you post such bad fan art?
A variation of it does, if you choose to destroy the grail at the end instead.
ORT is shit.
NEET is better.
>Trying to nose this hard
Unless you're trip is White Ren, fuck off. He at least provides actual counter arguments.
the hell is the FSN verse, do you mean Type Moon? If so you're wrong. If you mean in Fate Sat Night you're also wrong as Arc isn't even in it
>inb4 muh Fate Extra
you said FSN
How many of those were caused by Shirou being sniped and not by him being functionally retarded?
Three or four, maybe?
You can, if you see their lines, which as already said the MEoDP can do. The limits are your speed and your brain's ability to understand a ghost's death. This is why Tohno would get brainfried if he tried, but maybe he'd have a chance as a vampire. Meanwhile, Ryougi is better at killing abstract concepts so she wouldn't get fried, but her speed isn't enough.
Did you get to enjoy Chair and Stool?
He's not hurting them with the knife, he's hurting them by cutting/piercing their lines/dots.
Not anymore, they got tired of that Mary Sue.
>Not knowing how the Japanese BD market works
>Being too poor to support a series you like
You haven't lurked the right ones, then
Only people like that could ever see Avalon, a Utopia.
Only those two could ever find it.
That's a pretty good track record if you ask me
No she isnt.
And yes, Gil could take her. Gil with all of his vault at his disposal and going all out is someone who cant be classed in the same league as a "regular" top tier servant.
He has enough firepower to wipe out a continent, and that is without using Ea on full blast, which strips away reality and the world entirely. Not even Arc at 30% standard power has enough power to destroy a continent, which she confirmed when she described that as the required amount of power to be able to completely kill Nrvrnsqr.
Gil also has within his vault weapons that specifically target and harm immortal creatures.
Shiki is able to cut the lines of The Dead with his fingernails because they're so thick.
For anything else, lines are so thin that a sharp object is necessary.
>Fate Sat Night
fuck me, Fate Stay Night
You guys know nothing good comes from this.
I vaguely recall one of the Tiger Dojos mentioning how there was a route where you teamed up with Caster or something like that. And another where you team up with Shinji. I wish they could have just gone with the original idea of having Fate/stay night contain Fate and UBW, and have HF and Ilya's route on a seperate VN called Fate/other night.
>He has enough firepower to wipe out a continent,
Stopped reading right there. Arc is Planet-buster tier.
>Naruto reaction image
Was 2008 really that different?
People lately seem to think he hated HF because he made CCC, and they consider it just an apology for making HF originally. Despite the Sakura clone being radically different from other Sakura(She's definitely got some Saber and Shirou mixed into her personality), she helps out and basically leads you through your journey rather than sitting around sick, the lover story and point of it all is entirely different as the moral is more "What is love anyway" as two artificial beings eventually come to understand love that's greater than some bitch who claims she's an expert on love as Gilgamesh plays god-father to the relationship, and Nasu himself compared it more to Ataraxia and Heaven's Feel fused into one. Doesn't mean he hated either of those stories, but he had an idea here and ran with it, as he tends to reuse a few concepts over the course of stories(Such as a the whole far side of the Moon thing).
I thought Arc was the strongest entity on Earth because she had all the power of the planet's prana/spirit whatever at her disposal.
So off earth she would be at a disadvantage, or facing something like Ort, Arc's loli sister, or Primate Murder would all be stronger than her outright.
You cannot possibly comprehend the mass my boner would take on if I got to see Sakura's face breaking if they even omake'd the Normal End. It'd be visible from orbit.
I did manly tear up a bit at shirou's monologue before he destroyed the grail. shit was great.
Please don't tell me you're actually using Type-Moon X as a basis for Gilgamesh being able to wipe out a continent.
He's not a match for full-power Arc who's backed up by the planet.
Not to mention every being's lines are different and can change; for example, in the Ciel route he manages to cut Arc's neck through an impossibly thin line. Stuff that is near to death gets thicker lines.
Nah, even if she was facing another Aristotle on Earth the other Aristotle can terraform the planet easily to become their planet. Anything the Aristotle touches becomes their planet near instantly.
Shirou never demanded reward and persued the impossible all his life. So much so that the extent of the impossibility he reached was to find his way to Avalon.
It wasnt something he intended to happen. It was the miracle of one who searched forever and the one who waited forever finally meeting.
Well its not like Gilgamesh's main fucking weapon is anti-world, or anything.
Hollow/Ataraxia literally never
When do I get my avenger waifu?
I lack good Hisui X Kohaku art.
>Only those two could ever find it.
Don't play Fate/Extra. You'll be upset.
Which he would need a magical weapon to be even able to touch.
Besides, T.Shiki cant see their lines anyways. Only Ryougi. Who Nasu confirmed to be Ciel tier i.e. can fight defensively for a short period of time against Servants but will not be able to win.
Well, that's not what Battle Moon Wars tells me.
Fake Assassin + stairs > Hercules
Ah shit, I just remembered that. Sorry for my momentary retardation.
Still, I prefer HF True just to see Shirou and Sakura end up happily ever after.
He can just sever her connection to the planet, as Ea has the ability to rip a hole in Gaia's planetary phantasm to reveal the true face of the planet. It's already stated that those anti-terrain attacks are very effective against her, and he's listed as her worst opponent since she can't get proper backup against him.
Though I do vaguely remember anonymous of jacksonville being banned, along with anyone who tried using the name.
His sword would break waaay before he managed to drain all the lives, if he even could.
Which he couldn't, if Berserkah's 'can't be killed the same way twice' actually worked.
Hell, Shiki weakens her by stabbing the Earth
Every TM thread IS a power level thread. Just like HxH threads is always about 2 things:
>New chapter never
>Pitou is a female
He can't kill him even once, but he can repel Berserker until Berserker gets bored as long as he has the high ground.
Normal Arc isnt. When you start pulling arbitary side material like Melty Blood into it, you could argue that Archtype Earth is but she has stopped being "Arc" by that point in time.
The canonical Arc is someone limited to 30% of her power and struggling to live on 5% of it after Shiki cut her up.
Nasu also confirmed that another huge bonus to Gil fighting Arc would be that Arc would not recieve her buff from Gaia to "always be stronger than her opponent" as Gil by himself isnt stronger than her. The world does not take into account Gil's Gate of Babylon and all the shit inside it.
I tried playing Fate/Extra but it bored me to fucking tears.
So repetitive and the plot was pretty meh, granted I never actually finished it.
Nobody is saying they would be able to win in a straight fight. How is this difficult to understand?
All that's being said is that, under the right circumstances, MEoDP can be used to end Servants.
And no, why would they need a magical weapon to affect the lines?
In a straight fight, where Arc doesn't hold back, she would kill Gilgamesh before he has a chance to react because she's always superior in stats to her opponent, up to a limit.
Gilgamesh falls under that limit.
I like using choosing Caladbolg against Alter, which removes the choice and automatically has Shirou blast the shit out of the Greater Grail.
FSN says he managed to stop Hercules, it's not a theory
No, I am using F/HA
Ea at its max strips back reality and reveals a primordial earth. Thats how much power it has. Its biblical in scope.
You forgot Caster backing, and since Caster backing + Kuzuki > Saber it makes more sense that Assassin + Caster backing would be better than Berserker
speaking of Hercules. He was legit retarded in berserker class.
How broken would he have been as any of the other classes?
Not by himself, with Caster's help they were able to stop and drive him off IIRC.
Yeah, that has more to do with destroying Gaia's "Reality Marble", and less of outright destroying the Earth.
He would have soundly won.
Honestly, he probably should have won anyway.
We havnt actually had a classic powerlevels thread for a while now.
It feels almost nostalgic
He would have gone against Makiri's orders. Heracles was a good man.
As Archer he'd get the Hydra bow and do Nine Lives from a distance, plus independent action. Tell me that's not fucking broken.
Who fucking likes that gameplay?
I don't pick up a Fate title wanting to play some memory/RPS game Godammit, leave me alone until a choice is needed.
It's fun for the characters themselves, but kind of repetitive.
When you're playing it you want to get the character interaction, to get the E-matrix, and to learn about all the new servants mainly.
>In a straight fight, where Arc doesn't hold back, she would kill Gilgamesh before he has a chance to react because she's always superior in stats to her opponent, up to a limit.
Nasu confirmed "Arc normally is somewhere between two and four servants in power", she cannot receive a bonus against Gilgamesh based on his posessions, and most damning of all he has the fire-power of at least five servants at once as directly stated.
Meaning in a fight he'll always at least be one servant superior to her in fire-power as she can't fend off his barrage or get adequate backup.
>Yeah, that has more to do with destroying Gaia's "Reality Marble", and less of outright destroying the Earth
Considering Gaia's "reality marble" is how the earth is actually functioning and not just a barren rock, its certainly within reasonable relms to say that it is destroying the earth.
And by killing the earth's reality marble, it is also severing Arc's connection to it which is a huge problem for her.
Doesn't he also get hydra poison arrows as Archer?
Nasu takes pains to point out that being statistically stronger than Gilgamesh won't necessarily give Arcueid the win. He's too versatile.
More like redundant.
Putting away the romantic language, I find it an insult and a babying maneuver to give Shirou and Saber this random reward. The former was set in his ways from jump street, and the later had not just one route, but then a Light Novel prequel to show the growth of regretful, desperately determined, and then quietly content with the way her life turned out.
If the Last Episode is so important, then what about Illya? What of Kariya's effort? Was Kiritstugu and Irisviel thanked and rewarded for their effort? What makes Saber and Shirou so damned special?
It's a really distorted epilogue, about as sensible as Ciel's Good Ending.
So Fate series has a great deal of stats, and items, and lasses etc.
Why isn't there a roleplay game like DnD with all of Nasu's effects put into it? I know there are fan made ones I mean an official one made with Nasu's guidance in regards to stats et all?
Illya survives Fate route and continues living happily with Shirou.
She got a good end.
And nobody is happy in Fate/Zero. Nobody.
I kind of hope they surprise everyone and do HF Normal. If only to troll anime only faggots.
The only part I liked about HF Normal was Sparks Liner High, that fight was fucking fantastic. I wouldn't even mind seeing the new adaptation working that into a HF True ending, plot holes be damned.
That's what Apocrypha was supposed to be originally, an MMO RPG.
Mostly because that stats generally do fuck all.
Well I meant at 100%, although like another anon pointed out she wouldn't really be Arc anymore at that point. So fine, Gilgamesh would most likely be superior against "Arc".
Eh, not really. Destroying a Reality Marble and destroying the physical Earth likely require different powers, not to mention massive differences in actual energy.
Nevertheless, it would be a problem for Arc.
Like I said, against "Arc", sure. Against Archetype Earth, nope. Gilgamesh is a dead motherfucker.
It wasnt a random reward you complete autistic fuck. It was a planned ending that was taken out on a whim of Nasu's and then reinserted at the next oppertunity.
Nasu, as much as you may think otherwise, likes happy ends. He tried doing bittersweet but he never really got into it. Its one of the things Urobutchi notices about him when they chat about Fate/Zero, as obviously we all know that Gen has no problem with suffering and melancholie.
> Q: Who is stronger, Gilgamesh or Arcueid (30%)? While Arcueid has the strength of 4 Servants, I remember there being a scene in hollow implying that Gil was the equivalent of 5 Servants + a.
>A. In the definition of Arcueid's strength, there's this thing where "her output changes according to her opponent". As an absolute order taken from her backup, the planet, she is allowed only an output a little stronger than her opponent. And. Single entity abilities of Arc and Servants are roughly on the same level
>Servants use their respective Noble Phantasms while Arc uses her unlimited backup to fight, and differences occur depending on affinity. A simple-is-best Arc is an all rounder, and so generally her chances of winning are only high, but there are those opponents that she just has helplessly awful compatibility with.
>For example, in cases where even if the guy's stats are about the same as Arc, he has a ridiculously large number of weapons with high versatility. As the amount Arc is allowed to take out is based on "single entity ability", against types like Gil-sama, well, you see?
>And the "5 Servants + a" line is a comparison of simple "firepower". Like with the "corpses", foot soldier level opponents aren't going to be avoiding their attacks, so the ones who'd have the advantage are the ones who have more weapons. The reason why Servants excellent at one-on-one combat didn't stand out in Broad Bridge was because of this. Also, for normal Arc, she would get approximately the equivalent of 2 Servants single entity stats.
All direct quotes from the man
>And nobody is happy in Fate/Zero. Nobody.
Ilya implies she might live in Fate in one of the Tiger Dojos and she's pretty satisfied with her role in HF.
Sakura was saved in the end in HF, so Kariya did get his wish. His ntr delusions aren't worth even thinking about.
Kiritsugu died with a smile on his face, peaceful and content despite everything.
Also, Shirou and Saber are both dead. It's not a good end, it's an epilogue of how those two finally could rest.
Don't mention DnD in a Nasu thread. You might start an argument about his choice of alignment for some characters.
> What makes Saber and Shirou so damned special?
Main characters for starters. First romance of the game and the fact that they both share a connection that spans time and space because of Avalon.
That whole "You are my sheath" imagery. The whole of LE can be viewed as the sword and the sheath finally being able to reunite properly again.
We will never have new Apocrypha chapter translations ;_;
Taiga was more of a bittersweet, really.
Archtype Earth =/= Arc
Stop asserting otherwise.
Gil was locked away in the church catacombs for the most part, and forced to survive eating corpses.
You have to remember, that while Gil wasn't necessarily a good person before touching the grail, he did have his pride and some semblance of honor. That was no picnic for him.
I'm not even anime-only, I read FSN back around 2005 or so, and I would still be depressed as fuck if they did that.
It was a writer's edit, like all other writer edits. And, in my view, a rightful one, considering the points I raised it directly clashes with.
HF was the good ending there for her
She was able to reconnect with her immediate family on a more personal level, made some peace with her father in the end, and she was able to choose her own fate in the end which was something she never thought possible for herself before. To me that was always more of a personal happiness than what she got in Fate route, as she still hasn't told him the truth or they haven't confronted each other about it even half a year later. There's still a gap in between the siblings in Fate route that you just only really see closed in HF.
Arc has not been 100% since Roa tricked her into drinking blood. Ever since she has to spend 70% of her power at every singly moment of her life resisting her bloodlust, leaving her with 30% to operate on.
When Shiki kills her, she uses 25% to rebuild her body, meaning she then only runs on 5% and finds it massively hard to deal with and resist the bloodlust.
You list two insane people, a man who watched his empire turn into something that disgusts him deeply, a man with a question and a sadist who while enjoyed the despair of his family members now has to wait seemingly decades with his whole body rapidly rotting
Real fucking sitcom happy-shit going down right?
It all makes perfect sense if you just accept that DnD alignments don't make sense if you extrapolate too far from the OD&D origins anyway, and can't be intended to really be a meter of what actions you take or why you take them.
Your points have been fully refuted. It was a planned ending which has its roots deep in the key themes of Fate.
You need to get your head around this and deal with it. You are not right here and you look like an obstinate, childish fuck.
Illya deserves more.
I want a remake with an actual Illya route.
CCC Data Book
>His alignment is Chaotic Good.
>A cold-blooded tyrant, and a hero who had sought and enjoyed all manners of treasures and pleasures.
>Though capricious and temperamental, he does not (generally) kill someone simply because he is in a foul temper.
>When he kills a person, it is either because that someone’s soul is abominable, or because that person has become an enemy of his.
>King and sentencer who weighs both good and evil equally.
>To him, a life is only “that which will die this moment” or “that which will one day die.”
>A being who is recognized by Gilgamesh as “a life that must die this moment” will be slain, even if a sage.
>“So in the end it has nothing to do with rules or conditions and just depends on what he feels like that day?!”
>This kind of reaction is understandable, but that is what a king is.
>Whether astute judgment synonymous to the truth of the universe,
>or misrule during a drunken stupor,
>if he is the one to implement it, it would become the indisputable adjudication of the king.
>Such is the absolute sovereign.
>Though some see him as similar to Iskandar in their egocentricity, the greatest difference between the two is that Gilgamesh has no need of vassals.
>Gilgamesh is a king who, from start to end, reigns by means of only “himself.” What he loves are “treasures” >and “tools,” while a “person” is no more than that which must one day perish.
>……No matter how worthy of love he may acknowledge that to be.
You have no idea how little sense his alignment makes. Every time I come up with a reason for it, it just feels like I'm making shit up. I want to believe that there's a reason for his alignment, but I can't seem to find such a reason.
>Forgetting about Waver
For shame anon.
Gatekeeper romance, yay.
>implying gil isn't Chaotic Good
Gilgamesh was a conqueror. While he showed little mercy for his enemies he cared for his people. And unlike a certain female king, he wasn't afraid to make the hard choices for his people's survival.
So instead of dodging bullets I'll be dodging Gil and Archer's swords? Sign me up.
>Summon Marisa as caster
>She blows away one servant after another without taking a sweat
>One of Archer's arrows nicks her
At least she lives a happy ,if a little lonely , life after F/Z.
>And unlike a certain female king, he wasn't afraid to make the hard choices for his people's survival.
Are Otaku fucking rich or some shit?
I'd love to be a successful yacht salesman who can support the industry, but I'm not.
>And unlike a certain female king, he wasn't afraid to make the hard choices for his people's survival.
You have that backwards. Saber was not afraid to sacrifice entire towns if it meant saving 5 towns.
She did this with such ease and cold logic that it started turning some of her people against her. The whole "King Arthur does not understand the hearts of men" line.
>implying the city, nay country, would be standing after a Master Spark
Castah being happy is all I need.
This is assuming you've already burned a command spell on her to take it easy.
You have that wrong.
Its because Saber made incredibly hard choises with apparent ease that some of her people started to become uneasy with her.
Whilst King, she had an attitude similar in scope to Kiritsugu but a reactionary one. She would sacrifice a few to save a thousand, if that was absolutely necessary to do.
>Marisa keeps disappearing to "borrow" books from the local library.
Probably the first time I've heard something convincing about LE. This is a genuinely good point.
>Gil was locked away in the church catacombs for the most part, and forced to survive eating corpses.
HA confirms what was already stated briefly in Fate: Gil drank a youth potion and wandered about for the ten years that happened before Heaven's Feel 5. The orphans only powered his armory, not Gil himself.
You forgot Iris. And while this goes the length to be convincing, it overlooks the fact that, in truth, Shirou was already bound to be "rested" sooner or later. Even Archer says this much in UBW: He didn't regret his end, not in the least. Nor did he have a lament in his final moments—until the truth behind the Counterforce became apparent, he didn't think death was a curse. From all the timelines we've seen, we can safely assume that Shirou is a person that died with no regrets (save for about 40 timelines, herp).
And the Fate route's ending WAS Saber's resolution and final rest. A prettier one, at that.
>And unlike a certain female king
I have no idea what you're trying to imply, Saber was a flawless king. Her kingdom only fell because literally half her court was fucking retarded.
>he cared for this people
He literally NTRd every single one of his male subjects, it was a LAW.
Caring my ass.
If Gil has potions of youth, why did he even need the immortality one?
Gil didnt care for his people in the way you are thinking.
His people were extentions of his ego. He could do what he wanted with them and do what he wanted to them. He was known for taking peoples wives and fucking them just because he could.
However, if anyone from the outside attacked his people, then they were attacking his property and by extention they were attacking him. Thats when he smacked people the fuck down.
>yfw Mind of Steel animated
>all those mad Sakurafags
I didn't forget Iris, I just didn't have anything to say.
It's not about regret either, they're both the same and were both seeking the same place. Saber arrived first, and by waiting "kept the door open" for Shirou who eventually caught up.
>That whole "You are my sheath" imagery. The whole of LE can be viewed as the sword and the sheath finally being able to reunite properly again.
At last, someone who actually gets it.
You haven't refuted anything, actually. Two posters here have at least brought something other than "This was Nasu's desicion" to the table. That is the only point you(?) have been trying to make.
Point made, still didn't detract from my arguments.
>LE contradicts several prominent elements of characterization, theme, and plot regarding the Fate Route and Saber in particular, and Shirou's foundation of character on a whole.
Now please, try this again. Use >>100323410
and >>100323375 for examples in critical thinking, if you must.
I'm out to the store but I look forward to seeing what you put out next when I return.
*detract from nor provide counterthought toward
Everybody is straight in gensokyo, nerds
Who would win in a fight, Shiki, Shiki, or SHIKI?
If I recall CCC correctly, the herb of immortality and the potion of youth are the same. He ended up collecting it anyway.
I think by your own admission, this line >>100323410 fully debunks your problems.
They were soul mates, for want of a better term. Their connection and devotion to what they promised eachother is why LE happened. Its why the Sword and Sheath theme exists.
To him he wanted people to aim higher, to be arrogant, and to strive past their limits. He treated them coldly in a way since he was the lonesome king that no one could see eye to eye with, but that was his path. Sometimes he would protect them, sometimes he would be the North Wind that would test them, but his dream is for humanity to grow stronger and reach higher all along.
He emphasizes and likes them quite a bit even if he won't ever say it, CCC really captures the love he has for them as he would for his treasures, but he's not going to play easy ball with them if he wants them to succeed here.
ur a fgt
Wasn't basically the ENTIRE point of his epic about not getting it?
>EMIYA remix #1000
HOLY FUCK I CREAMED MY PANTS
Please let this be UBW, the first one didn't do it justice. Hill of swords CG is teasing my hopes. Or maybe a pre-hollow ataraxia multi-referencing story line. Since I'm guessing from the trailer it's intended to be a direct sequel to F/Z: the only way to provide proper closure would be to cover important plot points from all 3 routes.
Gil fucking up Sakura briefly in that one part will be enough for me. She pretty much suffers the entire route, so it's going to be a fun watch.
I want to say Shiki, but deep down I know it would probably be Shiki.
Nah, the immortality thing turned out to be bogus, but he still collected it anyway. The sage who advised him to go find it was mostly plant by the point that he talked to him so he was a bit skeptical, but after seeing the snake consume it and shed it's skin he could only laugh at his own foolishness in a way. It just was not the kind of immortality he wished for, but it still made a good souvenir to go back and get another one.
That |would| be the best sequel to Fate Zero but as for:
"We will satisfy all the fans of Fate Stay Night"
That'd probably piss off all fans of FSN except the good ones that is. Mind of Steel is awesome
Yes, and he's Gilgamesh, so I'm not seeing your point.
>What makes Saber and Shirou so damned special?
They lived their whole lives seeking to help others, drawing satisfaction from their smiles?
That was the point of Fate for Saber, she remember that even though her kingdom fell, she saved her people from the invaders and lived on quite happily.
Shiki, but I think in a lot of circumstances Shiki would win.
SHIKI is always fucked, though.
Yes. He went back to get it anyway.
But what about "I gave that to the snake"?
>Gil fucking up Sakura briefly
Then dying in his moment of combat in the route.I can't wait for those anime-only Gilfag tears wailing on about their arrogant husbando getting canned.
>What makes Saber and Shirou so damned special?
Two sides of the same coin. Both striving for something similar in tone and both going after it in destructive manners. Both can see the folly in the other's quest but neither can see the folly in their own withouth the other one helping them.
That and soulmates, sword and shield and all that good stuff.
The snake still took it, but read this entire section for the Nasu changes to his Myth. The heart is still kept in tack here but the meaning has changed in a small way.
Just read it
>New enrollment at the local highschool
>exsanguinated corpses found locked away in sheds
>Rin and Emiya suspect a master is draining life energy to sustain their servant
>Turns out Patchouli was summoned as a Caster class, and in turn summoned a servant of her own as a Berserker class
>Rin and Emiya are confused because this servant seems to be a calm and quiet little girl.
>Until the servant releases her noble phantasm
They are advertising it as "The story continued for new generation children". Does this mean that people won't need to watch the original FSN to understand the characters in Zero?
>and then Fuyuki vanished
The snake stole it the first time. He had his epiphany and dediced to get the herb again later on for the sake of possessing it, because he's a collector.
No, it just means that its the story following the next generation of competitors in the HGW
>Shinji is confronted by Rin and Emiya
>Shinji laughs saying his servant is "the strongest"
Mitsuzuri route when?
Rider pls go. Take this with you.
The original Fate ending is too corny for what Saber went through in F/Z.
So we need more of these:
He decides to take it, but not use it. It's a treasure, so it belongs to him anyway.
Take what you get.
Threesome scene with Rider?
>archer and rin just out
Why do people like her so much? Is she more prominent in H/A?
The original Goku one was best
>“Mm. Don’t say that. Amassing treasures is like an instinct to me; just wordlessly brush it aside.
>‘Better safe than sorry,’ as it is said. You never know, there may one day be a situation that I can only tolerate as a child.”
What is Kamina's noble-phantasm?
No, bitch. He didn't come for you.
Did Deen really butcher the anime so much that they're just redoing it? Or are we getting Heaven's feel?
Because she's the best girl.
Probably the same reason people like Maya in Evangelion: hipsters.
It's not yet confirmed, but both are quite possible.
Getting killed and inspiring the Master to do something with their life.
So Ilya route?
I wonder if ufotable are capable of doing a 3 cour.
Its most likely going to be a complete remake.
If they wanted to animate every route, it would have to be at least a 6-cour series. And I would love every fucking second of it.
There'd probably be breaks in-between each respective cour if they did, like in Fate/Zero.
What does this mean?
He's a huge fucking faggot there too and his plot-armor powered fights don't make him stop being a faggot.
F/Z was 2 cour, they aired like half of it weekly, and then there was a break before the second half.
As far as I've understood, one cour is 12 episodes. Season being considered a production, so two cours could be one season. I think.
I think Carnival Phantasm got every character spot on
Afterwards we can finally have a Tsukihime anime, right?
Lasting three or six seasons.
Running for literally a year and a half would be fucking insane though.
After the remake, not before
>Trident instead of jackhammer
all of my why. As long as they don't do that again it can't possibly go wrong.
Well that and
Cours means plan.
Just kidding, it's french. It means "season/block of television programming". For some reason the Japanese use it to refer to 12-13 episodes.
Thus 26 episode series (most good anime) are 2cours.
26 episode series with a sequel series of equal length are 4 cours.
I agree that it would probably take 2 cours for each route of FSN for a total of 6. I think after it people would want a different route though.
Would have played the shit out of that
Maybe they'll do an adaptation of the route where Shirou becomes Archer.
They are buttmad Seibafags who spread this because Nasu thinks FATE was shitty and a failure and he would write it differently now. He never spoke of UBW or HF as things he has to rewrite, on the other hand.
Never, because she falls in love with Mikiya.
>throwing around galaxies like frisbees
hrm... The Aristotle may be powerful, but are they THAT powerful?
I do so love my crossovers...
Inb4 "But there can't more than one Archer!" or "How can Archer be Shirou if Shirou is right there!"
The shitposting will be legendary.
One cour is anywhere from 10-13 episodes. It's a loanword from French or some shit.
Insane is good though. TM is wildly popular enough to get a 70-or-so-episode adaptation. I mean, shit like the big three gets indefinitely adapted, to the point where they make shit up just to pad out the episodes when it reaches the source material. Hell, FMA got 50-something and FMA:B got 64, and less widely known stuff like HnG and ZKC each got like 52 episodes. At least the idea isn't TOO far-fetched.
Man I would love if they adapted that. I can only imagine how bad it would be if a studio like JC Staff picked it up...
>but after fan reaction decided to put the end they took out back in.
They didn't take out any ending, retard. Nasu write something new because he wanted to explore the Tin Man mind and he wanted to shut up Takeuchi because muh Saber good end.
Wait seriously? All jap anime on blueray costs a fucking fortune?
I just assumed it was the US publisher fucking us in the ass because they didn't expect to sell many copies so they jack the price up to try and make their money back on a handful of sales.
Execpt that didnt happen at all, bait-kun
Well on the one hand, otaku's by definition don't have families or much in the way of lives so their income is almost entirely disposable - assuming they even have jobs, and are still living with parents therefore not paying rent.
Anime is actually cheaper in the US on average, and its still about 4 times the cost of any other tv show.
What a retarded place for a command seal tattoo.
And good luck explaining that shit regardless
>I-It represents my control over a servant as their master
>N-No! I'm not racist! Please s-stop beating me!
I tell them it's from an anime and no one gives two shits
I have to agree with the guy. Retarded place to put it.
If I ever get a stable job where they won't fire me for getting a tattoo on my hand, I'll probably get either Shirou's or Sakura's on my left hand.
>half hidden like a bitch near his armpit
Please tell me that's not your only tattoo, and you're one of those people who get a bunch of them and have shit like "love" and "peace" tattooed on each hand.
Nope. Planned end that was cut, like quite a lot of material (Ilya and Rider routes for example) because Nasu wanted to try melancholic ends.
As someone stated above though, the Nasuverse can be a grim and bleak place at times but Nasu cant help but want to give every main character a happy end in their routes. He even backtracked on Akiha's sad end in Kagetsu Tohya.
Urobutchi himself noted that Nasu loves his characters. Its why they got Gen in to write F/Z since Gen hates happiness. Had Nasu written it, characters like Kariya, Kayneth, Diamuid and the like would have been redeemed near the end.
Pic related is you? You know you need to be 18+ to post here right?
You're like 15-17 at best.
I would get Waver's. Best servant and best command spells.
>tfw when no loli route in Fate/Stay
>tfw when no Sacchin route in Tsukihime
Probably to do with both the original and Nasu!interpretation of the end of Gil's life/epic.
>I didn't forget Iris, I just didn't have anything to say.
Unfortunate. I was hoping you'd have a gem in mind that I never considered.
It makes a very strong standing argument, yes. I'm not entirely convinced, however. But I can now say LE is not without its own merits, and that there is something to pull from it I hadn't considered.
In that regard, I'm going to reread that epilogue and consider the avenue, as well as Fate route, from this POV.
>>EMIYA remix #1000
Am I alone in just not liking this most-recent Emiya remix?
Sacchin is already confirmed to get a route in the remake, and Ilya has her own reasons here.
when is type moon going to make something new
>Ilya has her own reasons here
What about that Mahoyo shit? I don't know anything about it, but I think it's a recent VN.
Kiritsugu's and Bazett's look the coolest. Shirou's is said to be a sword, but it's actually a sheath which is pretty cool.
They made the Witch of the Nights or something like that recently didn't they?
It featured Sugoi Sugoi
Well, his are on his right hand if I recall, so I could just get both.
Both of the 2012 EMIYA mixes were just okay. The one in Kaleid Ilya was a lot better.
The other 2012:
Why is Shiki so mean to Arihiko?
>tfw when Ciel's tattoos would be a $5000 investment and look edgy(read shit) on a guy
That would be retarded.
>not understanding bromance
I just realized that Shirou and Saber quite literally are soul mates. His body and soul were changed by Avalon, it's almost like Saber had her own unwitting Hikaru Genji plan.
Extra has some decent seals
I know, but there are far more retarded tattoos out there, so I wouldn't even be mad.
Well, I cant say fairer than that. I hope your re-read helps your insight into this matter anyways. I found that when I re-read the Fate route, already acknowledging Saber and Shirou to be soul mates meant I was able to hone in a lot more on the development of that theme.
Unfortunately the Fate route has a lot of infodumps that can swamp a first time reader. It is common that the more sublte themes of that route get overlooked.
After my 1st play of the game, my route perference was UBW > HF > Fate. After replaying it and being able to disregard and cut through the masses of world building and info that order changed to UBW = Fate > HF.
Last Episode for me was the perfect finisher on my new found appreciation for the Fate route.
Lets be realistic here, tattoos in general look retarded.
Everyone that gets them is always an edgy retard.
He isnt a very nice person in general.
Sasuga Rider class
Fate has mad foreshadowing, though.
As does the prologue, when Archer is knowledgeable about Reality Marbles and tries to subtly dissuade Rin from asking further questions I couldn't help but laugh.
I think having a few is fine, and could even be cool if done right, but it should be kept as a personal thing, and as long as you don't go crazy, having a couple of tattoos in relatively normal places isn't all that bad.
is what >>100326191 looks like when mommy isn't dressing him.
Not to mention all the foreshadowing that Archer is EMIYA
There's no one Shiki is closer to in the story; they're the only people who can be honest with each other, they've seen and understood death by an early age like no other, and they even had a fight by the riverside as kids that left them both passed out on the ground looking up as they could only feel like they've made a real friend.
He's a man who understands Shiki like no other, meanwhile Arihiko is the one person Shiki will show his spirited and foul mouthed side to because they've got that close, they've reached a level of closeness that Shiki doesn't even reach with some girls in the story. It's because they're that close that they can dick around like that and argue like dumbasses, it's because they are friends.
Until near the revelation I was almost sure Archer was Kiritsugu.
His body language really hasn't changed at all.
It took me by surprise when I watched the anime but when I read the novel it all seemed so obvious.
How would that make any form of sense?
Shirou's is clearly a sword.
One spell is the hilt, one spell is the cross-guard, one spell is the blade.
I thought Archer was Tokiomi...
I think that would have been kind of cool, but it's too Darth Vader, and they would have made it more obvious.
Did EMIYA ever become a magician, or did he live out his life as a magus?
It can symbolize both.
New to anime? It's fine, I'm not teasing you.
But yeah, the license demands for porting, localizing, and publishing anime outside of Japan are nothing short of absolutely ludicrous. That's the sole reason you've never seen a Sailor Moon Stars release. Not because of the controversial gender content, but because Toei wants five solid gold brick houses for the fucking license.
And then there are situations like Macross, where the license is tied up in development hell, never to see the light of day (seriously, look that shit up and cry bitter tears with the rest of /m/).
This is a big reason as to why the "scene" is far smaller than it used to be. Imagine paying a mint for licenses to certain shows...only to sit on them and do NOTHING because it means your competitor won't get that license. ie: if you're still waiting for Viz to do something with Shakugan no Shana, then now you know not to hold your breath, save for maybe the slim chance that when their contract expires, Yenpress will snag it before renegotiations can take place.
Madoka and Fate/Zero are on special license. The stipulation in particular interest is that they're sold at the ludicrous Japanese pricing, and that they can NOT mailed to Japan. In practice, only Aniplex.jp can handle Jap orders. This is to prevent Elevens from buying the BD collections at dirt-cheap American prices and exporting.
As expected of the land of the rising Jews.
He was a third-rate magus his whole life.
Being a sword elemental eldritch horror doesn't change that.
How did he fight when he was being a "hero" exactly? Just sword at everything?
Shirou can never be more than a novice Magus, but he's said to have the potential to be a top class Magic-user
Those are very different things it seems, and that is nearly a direct quote
Wait so Shiki and Arihiko became friends the same way that Gilgamesh and Enikidu did? Confirmed for broest pair
>Breaks down into a slow house beat
I can't. I just...can't. The guitar is good, though.
Not new to anime, I picked up the entire Fate/Stay dvd series and only remember paying maybe $30 a disc, even got that shitty limited ed saber clock. And I sure as fuck know VHS didn't cost $500.
New to BD though, but BD is new in general. So $500 is cheap compared to what BD sells for in japan? That's fucking weird.
I don't even know, I haven't even though the possibility of archer being shirou. And i've never seen the anime, just the VN.
The one thing this VN had made me do was walk on the streets at night. It's delicious.
Kanshou & Bakuya for close range. Bow and modified projectiles for long range.
Rifles for human targets if CCC is to go by.
I think I remember hearing him being adept and unarmed combat, too. But I haven't found anything to verify that despite kung-fu Shirou being cool.
I seem to recall that Nasu said he'd be given the rank of Magus Killer, an extremely overspecialized individual who fails at even the most basic magics, while at the same time being able to do impossible feats.
Essentially he'd know some magic and he'd be incredibly strong, but he wouldn't technically be a magus.
>I picked up the entire Fate/Stay dvd series
Why would you even do that? I feel sorry for you.
HF route also had a certain style to it in the sense of taking what you found out in previous routes, and flipping the table on all of it. Something you didn't even realize was something of note will suddenly become a slight brick shitting moment perhaps.
Take this CG from every route for instance. Nothing seems odd about it at all right? Except, didn't the fire which Shirou nearly died in take place at night as he noted early on, so what's the Sun doing in the sky at such an odd time?
If you like drumline...
Forgot the image
I feel sorry for you because you're not a real Fate/Stay fan.
It's almost like there was something he tried to force out of his mind after surviving that atrocity, something he could only make sense of by confusing it with something else later on.
Multiply that $30 by about 2.4 and you have the going price for Japanese DVDs. Bluray are a new and terrible monster.
Fucking jelly of the clock, though. I never even saw geneon/pioneer's original Fate release.
>defending the anime
I love F/SN and F/Z. Given the chance I'd buy the novels, but not the anime or manga or any shitty spin off.
Does that mean you bought F/E?
Nasu confirms Extra Archer is the same as FSN Archer, and the history lines up entirely.
Guns are good for picking out targets without revealing your magic and staying undercover, also he can hit any target within 4 KM, so it's a good choice.
Like father like son.
>pretending the anime was bad
Shouldn't you go back to asking why they are going to make a tsukihime anime adaptation, or saying that things die when they are killed or something?
>Not supporting a series you love.
You'd have more ground to stand on if it were the UBW movie. I personally view that as rewarding bad behavior. The anime series isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Nor is it really mediocre, either. It just doesn't shine as well as the source does, and does fritz the ending for the sake of getting other characters some screen time.
I knew the f/sn translation nowhere near stellar, but was it really this bad?
Never liked South of Heaven's version. The BMW still remains my favorite.
At least the clock is cute.
I own F/Z BD, KnK BD boxset, Carnival Phantasm BD, Type-Moon Fes BD and planning on buying the F/SN remake BD.
You couldn't pay me to have DEEN F/SN
>Except, didn't the fire which Shirou nearly died in take place at night as he noted early on, so what's the Sun doing in the sky at such an odd time?
.... fuck, I overlooked that so hard.
The atmosphere was shat all over, and it was poorly made in general.
Here's my reigning champion:
The 4km only applies to Hrunting, I imagine. It's not a matter of accuracy, rather than being able to correct for wind and air temperature elevation etc.
But making those 1-2 km shots with a decent rifle would be easy for him.
One of TakaJun's first efforts. Not bad, but not amazing.
Don't worry anon, so did I
It's not Hrunting itself, rather it's just stated that he can hit his mark anywhere perfectly within 4KM, but any further than that and his accuracy may fall quite a bit.
His eye-sight allows him to see all the way from the Shinto area to the bridge from where he shot Hrunting at least, he can hit something as far as he can see.
Yes. Both of them.
It is, shame it's put together with hot glue though...
I own (will own) all of those, also this:
I admit I'm a TMfaggot. Come at me bros.
>Thinking buying licensed DVD are supporting
Little to none of the money makes it back the studio if you buy imported.
If you want to support the studio you have to buy imported.
The KnK BD Boxset that came out in 2011 was the first time it happened. It was the same thing that was sold in japan, released the same day, had english subs and was sold on rightstuf. It cost $400 and no one thought it would sell
It sold out while it was still in preorder. It was because of this that the F/Z had subs on them and were released for $300 a set and people still bought them.
She was summoned into the 5th war probably only seconds after the 4th war. That's probably why she was so amped up and ready to kill some shit.
The answer was there all along
I still can't forgive Nasu for HF.
>hate moralfaggot mcs
>watch FSN(prior to translations)
>decide to read FSN years later
>get to the Church basement scene in Fate
>Shirou suddenly clicks, realize I really kind of like him
>UBW makes him even better
>Fuck yeah, HF tim- What do you mean abandon ideals?
Took me a week of indecision to finally go through with it and it was good, but jesus fuck Nasu for making me like something only so he can tear it down again.
The closer the object comes to its time of death, the easier and thicker the "lines" are. The Dead had lines very easy for Shiki to see.
And, again, all he needed was an inclined plane to affect the lines and activate the "death". So the manga isn't as fanfiction as everyone would like to believe
Reread both Hisui's ends regarding Kohaku's reveal. And Shiki's monologues on the Dead.
I kinda like this:
Like I said, it's not just seeing it. Even at 2km snipers have real issue because the winds and air temperature changes can cause the bullet to sway a fuck ton.
The meaning of the route was not to abandon ideals, but maybe a bit more like sometimes you just come to a crossroad where you can't save everything, and at that time you'll have to make a choice.
However he still picked the choice any real hero would have; since killing someone to save others was not his ideal, saving Sakura and still trying to save the world is what he did there as he continued to look for Zouken or Shadow, and the only other option was a path that led Shirou to kill all his friends in a way that would have been the absolute denial of everything you apparently liked up until that point.
He tried to pick both paths and save everything, even if it meant prioritizing what he could save above all, and even if the result wasn't perfect it was something to be proud of for a hero. Open your mind and read it again, he did not deny the path he walked upon before in all truth.
Shirou doesn't miss his target unless he wants to miss.
He is TRUE NIPPONESE AACHA.
I may be the only one to who looks forward to a Fate route.
UBW is fine.
I don't like Heaven's Feel...
I think something like that would brighten my day upon waking up. I can't get mad getting woken by a saber clock. I used to have some fsn wallpapers on my phone to remind me of my IDEALS but I had to start hiding my power level at some point. Is this thing on eBay?
Personally, that's what I loved about HF. Your classic moralfag MC decides to throw away everything that made him who he is to save someone who was impossible to save, no matter what the cost, all because of love.
i cri everytim
But he did abandon the idea of being a superhero, which is what I felt was the main point for his ideals.
It's not a matter of what happened in the route, but the phrasing of the choice.
In the previous route, he hammered it in that he wanted to become a superhero because there was so much that he'd forgotten, so much he'd had to leave behind that it was the only way he could forge on ahead.
The clock? Yeah for $20
There's also this one
This and this was the reason I didn't like HF
That's really well done, the edgy corruption is actually fitting.
my feels :(
Maybe if we all bought the BDs for this new series, Nasu will milk this franchise a bit more and write about something set in Fuyuki city 10 years later.
I want to see trained killer Shirou and sorcerer Rin.
It doesn't help that this is my favorite scene.
I don;t share the views you've just expressed, but I too am looking forward to a Fate route, it was probably my second favorite route
>Parallel reality traveling hijinks with Rin and Shirou
It's a perfectly fine, perfectly functional translation. The guy in that post is just flowering it up. It's up to the individual whether they care about how pretty the words are compared to how literal it is. There's nothing bad or good about it. It just is what it is.
>$500 for part 1, $500 for part 2
Even if 1000 people bought it, wouldn't make a difference. Japs don't give 2 shits about america.
Just look at Valkyria Chronicles 3. Jap only.
Despit VC 1 and 2 selling millions of units, and the US actually outselling Japan.Japan.
So seriously. Where does archers crazy skin tone/tan come from?
Does he move to Osaka or something?
Heaven's Feel just had the most perfectly gratifying scene at the end for me.
Basically, I love foreshadowing.
Throughout the entirety of F/SN we get comparisons of Thaumaturgy/Magecraft and Magic/Sorcery. From very early in the prologue, Tohsaka points out that there are only five sorcerers beyond compare. That's a hook, awesome concept, super-wizards walking the world among wizards.
After that, Caster's magic which puts every magus to shame is described as "almost sorcery". Therefore, sorcery is even greater.
The actual foreshadowing goes back before F/SN, the first mention in Type-Moon I can recall is at the climax of Melty Blood where time travel is off-handedly mentioned as a sorcery and impossible by the laws of known magic.
Still other things build up to it in Fate, like Command Spells allowing for teleportation (described as limited sorcery on its own), and a hint that Shirou's tracing is more like a sorcery than magecraft.
All these teases, hints that there's something wicked and awesome and fantastic that magi just can't do.
Then at the very climax, we see two magi using two degraded imitations of sorcery and they blow every show of thaumaturgy out of the water in moments, with an attack on the level of Excalibur being hurled out every few seconds and gigant familiars on the level of servants summoned by the dozen.
Gem Sword Zelretch was a massive orgasmic payoff to me.
Either choice would have broken his ideal; that's the point of the real world application of that route. Both Kiritsugu and Archer know as well the feeling of coming to that choice eventually that will damn you whether you do or don't in the end. Still Shirou was able to take the opposite choice than they had previously; if his choice was to kill one to save ten then he did the unthinkable, he saved one and tried his damndest to save the other ten as well while not forgetting about the one.
His ideal does not allow for contradiction, no matter which way he goes, if he sacrifices one to save more or sacrifices at all then he has betrayed it. Honestly saving Sakura should not have been such a choice since in the other routes he'd probably pick the same thing while trying to save both, but this time around he did not see it in such a way. For some reason despite not knowing dick about the Shadow yet he felt that leaving her alive was the same as allowing others to die even indirectly.
Sometimes it can't be helped; he wanted to be a hero, but in order to save the person who meant the most to him he had to betray something just as previous in order to protect all he had come across before now. It's kind of why Urobuchi refers to this route as "The dignity of man" as Shirou pays for Sakura's sins in full while forgiving her and telling her to live. We know it wasn't a matter of determination, since no Shirou before this point was as determined or went through as much shit as HF Shirou who literally was the bone of his sword. There was no right choice here, but he picked the option with the least regrets, he picked the one that would let him at least try to save everyone like a real hero.
What causes Shirou's hair to go gray?
Why does Archer own so many guns?
Did Rin get pregnant and make Shirou take responsibility?
So many questions that need to be answered.
It's been said a million and one times, the hair and skin is from overusing his circuits past their limits
All I want to know is how Rin got herself locked in a fucking chest.
Overuse of tracing burns out his body.
His body is charred, hair turned to ash and his eyes have lost their fire and cooled down into tempered steel.
Fried his nerves doing the shitty pseudo-magecraft before he learned about his natural circuits.
Abusing Thamaturgy causes massive side effects in his body, such as his hair turning
Guns are good for taking out the target or acting without revealing your magecraft
Wait, I don't remember that.
It's fake. Someone on /jp/ made it years ago and then the picture got corrupted when my hard drive crashed.
I had another one for a good ending but it was totally lost in the crash.
>how archer saved fukishima.jpg
Does someone as classy as "school idol" wear the same shirt for years?
VN characters don't change clothes unless there's a time skip or power up.
Maybe it's her favorite shirt or something?
Overloading from casting beyond his body's limit to compensate one too many times.
Wait if "modern weapons" are ineffective on servants because they're spirits, why do Kuzuki and Tohsaka's fists work on them? Why can Shirou hit Berzerker with arrows from a bow made out of tree branches?
>Fans clamor for Final Fantasy Type-0
>Square says they're considering it closely last year
>Sony already gave up on the PSP outside of Japanese shores
>You will never see Type-0 in English.
Time to learn moon, anon.
Most anime characters don't either, unless they go on a date and have the whole "she looks o cute in casual clothes!" shtick
As a side note Saber changed clothes a good 3 times or so
Isn't that because their fists were reinforced with magic? And Shirou's wooden arrows did dick-all to Berserker, that was kind of the point.
>why do Kuzuki and Tohsaka's fists work on them
Kuzuki had his fists hardened and enchanted by Casters magic.
Rins fist held gems.
Like I said, it's not about the choices consequences. It's how it appeared and was phrased.
In Fate, Ilya had killed people and was still a danger, this only changed as far as he knew once Ilya explained that she wouldn't fight any more. Did he hesitate to try and save her before he knew she was done fighting? No.
The phrasing of the choice is what clogged me down and annoys me. As a reader, it went against everything the novel had built up for me.
No I mean literally. They all were infused with prana one way or another. And Servants don't phase through stuff unless they're in spirit form.
For Shirou's part it was because he's a fucking good archer, but he even specifically says it does jack shit, Rin and Kuzuki use magic not just their fists
>Final Fantasy Type-0
I thought there was a fantranslation that was going to be done in a few weeks or so?
A magically reinforced wooden stick is sufficient.
It just has to be able to make contact with their spiritual core.
Kiritsugu's mystic code contender could probably minorly damage a servant if shot point-blank. They're fast enough to dodge a bullet after it is shot, however.
Same here, you are not alone anon.
It's just ridiculous what happened on HF.
And it proves that nasu is actually a woman, because all that bullshit is the ideal romance for grills, a super-hero denying the world so he can fuck you, but in the end he dies and you end fucking everyone you want once again because you're nothing more than a slut and ever was.
You're telling me if you were to fire an RPG at a servant it wouldn't do shit to them? If a projectile physically "hits them", as in break on contact, there has to be a transfer of force somewhere along the line. The laws of our universe simply don't allow energy to dissipate into nothing. Even Archer's head moved slightly when Kuzuki punched him unenhanced.
If Servants can't walk through walls, then physics still apply to them to some degree. Just pull out a flamethrower and burn them, or fire hollow point slugs that at least have enough stopping power to knock them back.
Being able to dodge a bullet is just bullshit now. If the secret is the weapon being magically reinforced, then why doesn't Shirou just "strengthen" bullets and fire them?
Hey, do any of you know if there's a compilation of EMIYA remixes to be found anywhere?
Or am I going to have to start downloading them individually?
>The laws of our universe
That's where you've made your mistake
He did something impossible almost; he gave everything away to save a single person, he paid for her sins with his life and gave her what no one else could, he saved someone who it was supposedly impossible to save at that point. That's a damn accomplishment, and Shirou seemed to be aiming for those savior points at that level.
It's not about "He saved dat pussy so he could fuck it", but rather he saved someone who no hope or possibility existed for and gave them light. The mark of a real hero is doing the impossible and creating a path that has no hope will barreling along. There was just no way to actually get her out alive and well after everything that she had been through, but it happened.
...huh. Didn't know.
Servants can easily move in the supersonic to hypersonic range. Dodging bullets is small time.
You know Nasu is a man though right?
The amount of rape the happens in Tsukihime, and all the shitty references to sea creatures when describing the vagina should be enough of a giveaway.
I'd post a picture of him, but It's like the fucker has never been photographed in his life.
Can't argue with that. Maybe that's why Archer has so many guns.
The problem is their resistance is on magic-level already. So it's that rank bullshit once again, only a weapon of rank equal or higher could damage them.
Imagine they have 'physical resistance' D+, just the best of the best of weapons could do shit to them, or magic, which is the point.
Medium-tier Servants are on the level of Dead Apostles. All the ones seen in F/Z and F/SN are high tier (bar, like, assassin or gilles de rais, and Emiya statistically) and above them.
Nasu said, paraphrasing, that a Dead Apostle can be shot from behind [someone they can't see], turn around before it has reached them, and dodge the bullet (barely). (However, they can't actually move fast enough to get that far out of the way. A spread weapon like a shotgun will graze them at least if not catch them entirely, a pistol or rifle will just be avoided because it has a single clear destination to move out of.)
Going by some of the math, a Servant at C to B rank AGI can dash at the speed of sound.
Also, the punch doesn't do anything to Archer. It's a world of conceptual powers and mysteries. Greater mysteries trump lesser ones without fail, mundane means lack the oomph to do enough harm.
Dunno if Nuclear bombs would work, since they probably carry a spiritual weight, what with the cold war and the entire world fearing them...
If they can dodge bullets why can't they dodge some school teachers fists?
I don't think they can dodge bullets.
There are the remiyamixes, but those haven't been updated, though.
Anything not enchanted by magic will not hurt or even touch a servant unless they let it connect, even something enchanted will have to be super enchanted to make a dent. A Servant can move up to mach 16, heal from anything aside from a very good hit to the heart or brain from something super enchanted, and can possess reality breaking strength.
There's a reason they're about on par with DAA according to Nasu
Why can't they dodge sword strikes and such from other servants even? Surely the servants don't fight at speeds exceeding the sound barrier eh?
Servant bodies are pretty irrelevant. You could interact with them physically, it just would mean absolutely nothing.
The damage caused by a mundane attack will just be ignored because it doesn't affect their spiritual core. You're basically punching the ocean and demanding the water be damaged, the magic will just reshape.
It's not that it won't do anything, but how quickly they can recover from the damage. Because the concepts aren't compatible (physical, non-mystic property vs mystic, spiritual property), the two will impasse. The bullet can hit the Servant, and the damage will be so negligible it wouldn't even register as stubbing their toe on concrete sidewalk while wearing sandals.
And the damage itself would be repaired lickity split at no cost because the mystic/spiritual core was never "damaged" to begin with.
>also, what >>100330477 said.
