Attack on titan is a great manga and a pretty good anime

For a second I thought it was an Indian knockoff in the same molds of Naburo

Yes, it deserves all the massive support it's receiving not only in Japan, but in many other contries.

Obviously /a/ hate it now, eventhough there were countless threads about it some months ago, but now it's too popular for /a/ to handle.

Their eyes creep me out

Why not "Attack of Titans"?

Yet /a/ loves One Piece

one piece is good

The cover logo for the manga is tacky.

AoT thread?

The dark atmosphere and world building is very good at the beginning, but it starts to fall into typical shoenn cliches very quick. If you've seen a lot of anime, it's nothing special.

This, totally.
Although the manga seems to maintain that atmosphere for a bit longer than the anime, it ends up being quite disappointing.
I don't see why you feel like making a thread about it though, it's widely recognized and seen as good. Every store in akiba was full of shingeki no kyoujin stuff and all had the fucking OP playing in background when I went there for christmas. It's popular enough really, give it some rest already.

Correctly it should be "Advancing Giants/Titans" or "March of the Giants"
I have no idea why "Attack on Titan" was chosen, really. It's just plain wrong.

I agree about the atmosphere that existed at the beginning. I'm manga-only. It was so dark and mysterious, now its mysterious but with much less of the powerless feeling that made the beginning so tasty.

I liked the horror and dark atmosphere aspect of it at the start (which the manga conveys better than the anime in my opinion) but then it slowly turned into shounen stuff. Some "big revelations" were terribly disappointing. It just got worse and worse. I hope terra formars won't turn out the same way.
