Can we have a "what the fuck am I reading?" thread for weird moments in manga?
>10/10 for joke
>0/10 for left to right
What can you do? It's almost definitely from a licensed scan.
I laugh every time
This manga made me sad.
That bitch is crazy.
"What the fuck am I reading?" moments in manga are great. If the plot is getting stale, they add a little spice. If the plot is keeping you reading it, they're just a cherry on top.
why is it that i cant spend two fucking minutes on this site without bursting into tears over zyzz
>I can explain!
We're all doing to make brah just lift and take creatine
It gets weirder later
THEY KILL OFF BOSS
Holy shit it's been a long time since last I lol'd this hard, and this isn't even the first time I saw that image.
what manga is this
I read this ages ago and I'm still not sure if I really get it.
I forgot most of it but I remember MC having a twin brother. One was alpha and the other was beta. The whole story makes it seem like MC was beta and that it was his fault alpha died, but in reality it was beta who died. I guess the day beta died one was pretending to be the other because I guess one of them liked the girl, I forgot. The one she liked "died."
Such a traumatic event happening with one bro pretending to be the other must have messed with their heads over which one really died. The girl had severe psychological trauma over loving/hating MC.
Pretty much everything about Homunculus after the first volume was "what the fuck am I reading" tier.
/r/ing that final sex scene, I don't have it saved
Battle Royale skullfucked me so god damn hard.
Are those tits in the first panel?
Wolf Guy was fun. If only he'd fucked the redhead...
No it's just the angle. But if you want to see him with tits I'd suggest picking this manga up. The last arc goes maximum batshit crazy.
Wolf Guy fucking depressed the shit out of me
>get attached to female character
>she gets raped for 30 chapters until she is so mind-broken she is basically just a cum dumpster.
To make matters worse there's hardly any resolution and it's set up for a sequel.
But that was the good part, no? Art is not meant to be convenient.
>set up for a sequel.
The fuck? I don't trust that author anymore. Who would want to read anything he makes? Maybe if someone could assure me after it was over that it wasn't something you need brain bleach for. I only finished Wolf Guy because I was going through it at the same time /a/ was, and what a ride that was. Plus the fact that after the first 10 odd chapters of rape I figured I might as well stick through it to the end.
Not worth it.
It was one of the first time that rape in a manga really affected me, normally when I see it I'm just like "Welp, looks like the author couldn't come up with a good back story for this girl without resorting to emotional gut-punches." maybe it is because it is the first time I've seen mind-breaking outside of a doujin.
Also because when I thought about what I would do in that situation I thought I would kill myself if that kind of thing happened to my wife/GF and she fucking ENJOYED it by the end.
It hurt me in a way I didn't think it could, the only other time I've been this affected by damaged romance in manga would be in Berserk when the Count's wife has the fucking balls to try and manipulate him even after knowing what she just put him though.
>mfw trying to power-through those 30 or so chapters of Wolf Guy
Every time Wolf Guy is mentioned it brings up posts like this. Do we need to start a support group or something?
It didn't really hit me all that much. The manga itself is just torture porn. MC's whole shtick is being beat up, that's pretty much it. The whole time he's just supposed to look ripped as fuck while getting beat up.
The same goes for the female lead, only instead of violence being inflicted on her it's pleasure. He's being tortured by being injured, she's being tortured by being raped.
Well, come to speak of it, Berserk kinda escalated when Griffith joins the Demon Gods or whatever they were called again
I am kind of surprised there were no pages from Bastard! in here yet.
The whole Short Cuts was basically "wtf: the manga".
sweeeeeeeet, fucked up story with loadsa drama. Pretty depressing too.
>fucked up story with loadsa drama. Pretty depressing too.
Well, no shit.
It was written by a dude who killed himself. Also he could pretty much only draw 2-3 female faces.
Shit the author killed himself? I had no idea.
Did he do anything else worthwhile before dying?
Also doesn't sweeeet ends kinda good, from what I remember? might re-read it now.
Yup, Kei Aoyama off'd himself, such is the life of the dishonorboru japanese man.
He did a few other manga's that I've heard decent to bad things about. All of his girls look identical to characters from Sweeeet though which can be weird if you read them right after it. He mostly does romance stuff, like something called China Girl and Strobe Light.
Yea, Sweeeet does have a happy ending.
Palepoli is leagues worse. Short Cuts at least had some consistency.
