Started watching this a couple hours ago, i'm on ep 10 now.
Meh. 5/10 so far. Checked the googles and people in different webpages claimed it was the best shit around. Why? what went wrong?
my taste a shit?
Also, that's a qt trap.
VN - godly
anime - okay
Watch until episode 13. The series really picks up at episode 12, up until that point being more of a slice of life show. maybe get gud taste
Don't do the same shit so many other faggots do and drop it before the show actually has any real impact
It's a time travel series. The later episodes are spent undoing the early episodes.
You deserve to be spoiled for making a dumb thread before finishing it.
>caring about spoilers
>being this much of a drama bitch
I don't really care about spoilers, i'm going to watch it either way as it seems.
>my taste a shit?
If you liked Madoka, we can safely say that your taste is shit.
The voice actor convinced me.
Did you just imply you don't care about spoilers?
You don't care about the nature of a developing plot in an entirely story driven media?
What the fuck?
No, i don't, i'm not that much of someone who keeps thinking in the future, i just enjoy the actual moment like a fucking dog. The fact that i, in some way know what's next doesn't affect me the way it would affect you.
Dunno why people say Steins Gate gets soooo much better around chapter 13.
Yes, it has some decent shock moments and decently executed feels but for me the appeal of the series mostly came from the character charm, which is present straight from the beginning. That being said, some of the later episodes do hit pretty hard.
It's definitely not the best shit around; for starters characterization is terribly weak and shallow for half of the cast. And the time travel theory is not as well thought out as many people make it out to be. But it's a lot of fun to watch unless your taste a shit and you really will fall in love with the characters and feel their feels unless your taste a shit.
>for starters characterization is terribly weak and shallow for half of the cast
That's because it shaves off so much of the visual novel.
I usually don't mind spoilering myself but certain titles (specifically SciAdv releases) I want to go in unaware. It can heighten the experience tenfold
Obviously then its best to watch something as it's airing
But it was an adaptation.
It was being spoiled since episode 1.
>implying everyone who watched Steins Gate played the VN
>caring about the end result more than what it takes to get there
It's inevitable with an adaptation, especially on /a/.
Dis nigga gets it.
Anyone have that pic of the older lab members?
you mean that? I mean its several pictures but w/e
Didn't really like what he did with Kurisu. She's tsundere as can be but she isn't a slutty teacher or anything. Mayuri's dopy smile and papa Daru make me feel happy inside though :)
Just hide threads
The journey on the way will be filled with twists and turns
That's what I'm saying
It's not the single ending spoiler
There may be many, so why spoil any of them?
There is another one where Okabe has a red tie and cool hair.
It literally takes Steins;Gate an entire cour to get started.
People complained about R;N because of how long it took shit to hit the fan but it was TERRIBLE in Steins;Gate too.
Well, color me interested as well.
I liked the first half of Steins;Gate, although I do admit it was better in the VN, where the time was used better.
I liked both series' pacing
I see nothing wrong with taking your time provided it has some level of development equal to the time waiting
But I watch a lot of SOL so I couldn't give two shits about development in many series I watch
S;G was better as a VN by far.
C;H - a ruined Shibuya, a murder case, and a murderer suddenly becoming the protagonist's best friend that everyone but him remembers
S;G - a mysterious satellite crash, mass pedestrian disappearance, a murder discovery, and a murder victim suddenly appearing to the protagonist as perfectly fine
R;N - "our club will be disbanded unless we win a tournament as underdogs"
M;Y - protagonist transfers into old school and gets bitch slapped by childhood friend
For me it got un-put-down-able around episode 5.
It picks up after 10, up to 20, rest of the pacing is shit, it is above average, but not amazing.
