I just finished Fate/Zero and I liked it, however I have a couple questions before I start Fate/Stay Night.
>Does it have a real ending compared to Fate/Zero?
>Is it a letdown? (google search says so)
Also, General fate discussion
>watching Fate/Zero before FS/N
You don't watch the Fate/stay night anime (well, maybe the new one by ufotable, but it's not out yet) you read the VN given how butchered it was.
Read VN, don't watch FSN
I was told it was better to watch Fate/Zero before Fate/Stay Night because of the time order...
Is that wrong?
>watching Fate/Zero before reading Fate/Stay Night
Why do you people do this to yourselves?
This topic comes up often.
Here you go.
It's kind of wrong, but the logic is right.
F/Z has a lot of spoilers about the grail and about Sakura being a worm-infested bitch. And also mild spoilers about who killed Rin's father. However, you'll still be able to enjoy FSN Visual Novel without a problem.
Because I did the same thing. I say it actually enhanced the experience. The feeling of reading about the "next generation" made me feel excited throughout the whole thing.
you are straight up too dumb to read the vn, not even trolling. Don't even bother
>I just finished Fate/Zero and I liked it, however I have a couple questions before I start Fate/Stay Night.
Can't fool me, bub.
Downloading the VN right now, thank you anons.
Thanks, I guess.
If you liked Fate/Zero you probably like anything.
FS/N is terrific! You should watch it right away. DEEN did a fantastic job tastefully adapting the VN. Also check out the UBW movie. Best anime ever made.
share my pain..
Liking something doesn't mean they think it's the best of it's genre.
It was at least average and was compelling enough to at least watch once. Though I am partial to the art direction, that was superb.
>In before shit taste
Clearly he needs to start with the roots of the Nasuverse and watch the Tsukihime anime.
But that's impossible.
Fate/Zero is my all time favorite I know there is a lot of hate but it encompassed so many things I love
OP you want to get all the Bad Ends but especially Spark Liner High and Mind of Steel.
My vote would be to just wait for the ufotable adaptation. Hopefully, once that comes out, the DEEN adaptation can be obliterated from everyone's memory, like it never even happened.
the sad thing is this is so common. watching fate zero before reading fate is like watching the star war prequels before the originals shit just doesn't make sense.
I would say do this too.
The anime is quite terrible.
However, the VN is pretty gud, I prefer it over F/Z but a lot of opinions exist on that matter.
If you don't want to read 3 days worth of stuff, then wait for the UFOtable fsn anime.
This is wrong because no matter what route they adapt you'll still be missing 2 other routes.
>People still watching F/Z before reading F/SN
Why is this still allowed?
the only right answer to doing the anime would be illya route.
was the Illya adaptation any good? I kinda enjoyed the manga.
I place my faith in a miracle three season triple route adaptation.
ufotable hasn't let me down yet, and I have an autistically fueled hatred of adaptation in general.
No I did NOT like the Rin's Adventure episode but it was only one thing so whatever.
>mfw UFO fs/n cuts most of the dross out, follows Saber's character arc in Fate route while simultaneously working in the thematic key points of UBW route as a parallel character arc for Shiro and then finishes with HF arc
>implying it won't cover all 3 routes one after another
but that would be stupid
fuck that, this route instead
It's how Fate is meant to be told.
There's no reason not to just run Fate and UBW parallel to each other. They have basically the same thematic arc, except replace Saber with Emiya
