Didn't see any threads. I usually avoid "reincarnation of Nobunaga" shows like the plague, but this one seems somewhat promising. I like the monochrome-esque art design, but the character design's are pretty weak.
How many Nobunaga shows can you name, /a/?
Dog poo thread?
There was this one based off a phone game or something where nobunaga and her retainers got thrown into modern day japan.
I miss that one. She was qt3.14.
Ochitekita Ryuuou to Horobiyuku Majo no Kuchi
There's one that few know about I guess. Basically Nobunaga gets transported to another world, gets amnesia and leads an army of busty witches to take over the world.
Also >ideal state for magic use is naked
So the witches wear little clothes.
Hard mode:Nobunaga is male
I'm in love
>character design's are pretty weak
Well duh, it's battleshonen after all.
I'm the same, never sat through a Three Kingdoms anime for more than two episodes except apparently Durarara was secretly one, but this looks like a keeper.
I wouldn't call the character designs weak but the style is weird, is all I can say.
The reincarnation-system is not very cool to me, feels ripped off from other series running on the idea of "legendary heroes".
>Durarara!! is a 2010 Japanese anime with a subplot which makes loose references to Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The conflict between the colour gangs (the Yellow Scarves and Blue Square) parallels the Yellow Turban rebels against the Han government.
What a coincidence that this also happens to be the shittiest arc!
Didn't expect much of it but the music is good, visuals are a treat, MC is likeable and I'm looking forward to seeing new characters.
The only thing that really bothered me was the pacing in the second episode; seemed a bit slow. Other than that it's shaping up to be my actually pretty good guilty pleasure show of the season.
not really hard mode, since we got a new one this season with Nobunaga the Fool
Yes, but there are far fewer shows portraying Nobunaga in his actual gender.
I don't get it. Why all these shows about cute Nobunagas doing terrible things. I don't want to see a dramatic retelling of the American Civil War with George Washington as a cute loli.... wait no, never mind I do want to see that. Forget what I just said.
they're doing some interesting things visually outside of palette playing around too
Im in it for as much nobunaga as I can handle though
I just finished watching this show.
I expected it to be utter shit. What I got was the secret society bullshit of Phi Brain, the pointless 'symbolism' of SHAFT, the over-shaded colouring of a low-budget GoHands filler series, and the raw passion of Symphogear.
Objectively the show is horrible. The animation is basic, the character designs are horrid, the OST is bland, the colours and filters are hideous, and the whole concept is probably just a stupid low-budget ripoff of a certain recent hollywood sci-fi movie involving Kaiju that may or may not have been directly referenced in the show, but then they pull shit like NOBUNAGUN THREE LINE VOLLEY with that fucking retarded guitar riff playing in the background and everyone looking shocked and I just can't help but love this show.
Were it by a competent studio it'd be AOTS, easy, but a competent studio would never have made this show in the first place.
I find it has heart
they don't have much but it's trying it's best
The overlays are cute though.
So basically, this is one of those "crazy as fucking hell and so damn nuts that despite its shortcomings is absolutely mesmerizing" shows?
Picked the fuck up.
didn't like symphogear, didn't like thsi
>I like the monochrome-esque art design
I don't think you know what monochrome means
Are you implying that they tried to rip of Pacific Rim? Because there's almost nothing in common.
Also, the colors are cool, fuck you.
>I like the monochrome-esque art design, but the character design's are pretty weak.
I would say its because the manga's art is contrast heavy that it limits detail.
