What is your favorite up and rising studio?
>>
>>100258895
not that one
>>
I don't really pay attention to studios so I don't know.
>>
Doga Kobo.
>>
>>100258895

Silver Link.
>>
white fox ain't bad, i loved katanagatari.
>>
Fuck yeah, White Fox.
>>
Probably White Fox. Give WIT a few more years and see what they chum out next.
>>
>>100258895
White Fox was really good, but this season they lost their way.
>>
>>100258895
I also liked White Fox before this season happened.
>>
>>100259142
They've been around for a while and are only semi relevant because of Pokemon
>>
Trigger, because I'm an action nut. It only saddens me that they'll have to make adaptations instead of always being able to do original work.
>>
>>100259390
WIT for me. SnK wasn't the best but to have your first anime ever break 50k average gives them a lot of leverage in the future. It also helps that they're a port to my favorite studio.
>>
>>100259558
I have a feeling they will be stuck on SnK to long to see how legit their range is.
>>
Kinema Citrus.
>>
>>100258895
Trigger feels like cheating so I'll go with White Fox as well.

Katanagatari is their best work.
>>
Do Brain's Base count as up and rising?
>>
Diomedea
>>
KyoAni
>>
>>100263153
>up and rising
>>
If White fox and Silver Link and Diomedea can be counted as "up and rising", then I'll say P.A. Works, since that's only a little bit older, and their output recently has been really strong.
>>
>>100258895
MAPPA/David Pro/Rikka
They count right?
>>
>>100263249
KyoAni has been in a slump lately.

They're up and rising again thanks to Free!
>>
Diomedia and Gokumi. SilverLink is still hit or a miss.

Are you trying to make this the new KyoAni vs SHAFT?
>>
Dogakobo aren't 'up-and-rising' studio since they're pretty old. Their recent TV anime efforts have been rather commendable though.

I'd say Kinema Citrus are pretty talented. Kamikaze Douga are one to watch out for too, though they specialise in CGI.
>>
I'll mention when these studios first produced anime according to AniDB.

Studio: first anime (year)

MAPPA: Sakamichi no Apollon (2012)
David: Ristorante Paradiso (2009)
Studio Rikka: Eve no Jikan (2008)
White Fox: Tears to Tiara (2009)
Diomedea: Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (2008)
Silver Link: Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity (2009)
Studio Gokumi: Koe de Oshigoto OVA (2010)
P.A. Works: True Tears (2008)
Kinema Citrus: Eureka Seven movie (2009)
>>
Diomeda.
Their adaptation of Mondaiji-tachi was fun and altogether, well produced. Hopefully when the series reaches a point where it has enough source material, we'll get 3 episodes, and a 1 cour season 2.

It already has enough material for another season it just sold like shit
>>
>>100264690
Where's Trigger?
>>
studio lerche is a very little studio but danganronpa and Unbreakable Machine-Doll were decent and I liked
>>
>>100264893
Trigger: Little Witch Academia (2013)
Studio WIT: Shingeki no Kyojin (2013)

Didn't think they were worth mentioning, everyone already knows about them.

Although I guess most people are failing to notice the WIT anime airing now, or the movie they made last year.

It sold like shit, but the light novel boosted in sales.
That's the important thing.
Don't break me down ;_;
