The only questionable part is that she appeared before Otonashi. But that could easily be explained by him being stuck in limbo; since he actually should've died happily.

How can Kanade and Otonashi reunite if they are both dead?

Angel sounds like a latino man name. Calling poor Kanade like that makes me suffer. Also, Tenshi dehumanizes her a bit too much. She's just a regular girl after, and has a beautiful name

GDM songs remind me too much of the anime. Even though I like them, I still can't unlink them from the feeling of sadness

So any chance this might get the 25 episodes it deserves if the VNs sell like crazy?

I'd imagine so, it was insanely popular and successful in Japan.

See, this is where most people get it wrong. Otonashi DID die happily. It wasn't his own regrets or past that caused him to end up with Yurippie and crew. It was the fact that Kanade, despite her kind nature and efforts to help others move on, could not move on herself until she came to terms with Otonashi.

So either her need simply willed him there from another place and time, or someone sent him there (the existence of an afterlife does kind of imply the existence of some kind of higher power).

So everyone else moves on, then Kanade, then Otonashi plays Kinect for a few minutes and probably moves on himself.

When you are talking about things like purgatory, you might as well through continuity out the window. Didn't ninja chick die during the Japanese civil wars?

The timelines aren't directly connected, obviously.

The ending implies that reincarnation was their fate.

I'm pretty sure the land of death doesn't give a shit about time.
