Only two and a half more weeks
>gif I made is the OP
I want to taste Honey's popcorn cheer.
I'm starting to worry that I'm a little overcharged. I'm only going to be disappointed.
I was originally going to say "like clockwork" but didn't want to type that many characters
precure is dead
We've all got our happiness charged. Now to see what the charge does for us.
I suddenly feel much less alone
Is this going to be a tanoshii precure?
The most tanoshii
i want to lick not-nagisa's salty eyebrows
Speaking of 'clockwork'.
Why does Honey look so sweet?
Finally done with Max Heart.
Almost felt like I was forcing myself to watch it for a while. Fortunately things picked up after the half mark.
I'm gonna miss these two.
My Happiness is fully Charged
Don't worry, they get to kick a lot of ass in the movies.
I just now finished the Heartcatch movie.
It was so good, probably one of the best things Precure ever. And Salamander was such a great villain. That style, and those Monte Cristo vibes.
Now I sort of miss Heartcatch though.
Watching a movie after you finish the series will have that effect on you.
I miss fresh.
They look like they're being forcibly penetrated.
Did someone say Precure thread?
>/pc/'s face when HaCha leaks
Happiness charge is a collosal blunder.
They finally had the chance to make a cure cuter than Saki, and failed, as they have every year since Splash Star.
8 years of failure in a row.
I just want another decent Black Cure.
but she isnt even the cutest cure in her own show
Yeah Erika > Tsubomi, I know Anon.
Looks like you won't Honey's honey until April
I agree. Popcorn completely wrecks the vague sweetness theme the other forms had.
Well, there's kettle corn, but still.
Those look awful
I haven't watched any PreCures but I'll be picking up the next one. Should I also watch HeartCatch? Since I see Commie is subbing a rebroadcast.
She's the salty treat we need.
Because we can't have nice things.
Now I fear for Fortune. Will she also have a shit form with shit colors and shit name?
Shh anon don't be salty
I guess she's simply making a quick appearance in NS3.
Ah well, it'll be nice to have a duo dynamic for one cour.
I guess it'll be like the Suite and HC formula except faster.
It's an atypical season. Just acknowledge that the other seasons will be different and less well-animated.
That crossed eyes 3D.
Don't talk shit about kettle corn.
It's up to you. All the seasons are standalone, except Max Heart and Gogo 5 being sequels to Futari wa and Yes 5 respectively.
Heartcatch is regarded around here as the best season and the easiest to get into, but it's also somewhat different from other seasons, so keep that in mind.
>Whachoo lookin' at sista?
Disappointing, but it could be worse I guess.
Is that a Happiness Charge reference? Toei confirmed for bros.
Fortune isn't showing up until July so I'd hardly say that's fast.
That's soon after the midseason climax, isn't it?
Moonlight and Muse didn't properly join the team until late third cour. Fortune is joining sooner.
Likewise, Itsuki and Beat didn't join until the midseason climax, but Honey is joining in the 10's.
Is this confirmed? We know about a cure 6 months before she shows up?
July is the midseason. Depending on when she shows up exactly, it could be during or just after it.
>Lovely, Princess, and Honey are barging in on the big bad's front door
>???: "Before you face Queen Mirage, you'll have to get through me first."
>Lovely: "Who are you?"
>???: "My name is Cure Fortune."
Moonlight and Muse both showed up early.
They're tiny cell phone charms. They're not going to have the same detailing as normal figures.
Saki isn't even cuter than Mai, let alone the cutest cure.
She's cuter than Nagisa in the Cure Tomboy category.
> Cure vs. Cure
That honestly goes without saying.
Most people don't see her cuteness relative to other cute cures though. She's cute relative to ugly cures, sure, but she's also one of the cutest cures around.
So how do we feel about the fact that the male(s?) will be supporting characters and there will be romance involved with Megumi
I for one am wary but quite intrigued
Waiting patiently on Honey from Space Dandy dressed as Cure Honey.
or the other way around
As long as it's not with that Blue faggot.
Fucking ghost ass lookin' mothafucka.
> there will be romance involved with Megumi
Is this like confirmed or what
It better not be some reverse harem bullshit.
I want to bad touch Minorin~
She sure is.
>people being this delusional
There's never going to be romance in post-00s children shows
Honestly? Depends on the guy. If he's just there to be handsome, then fuck it. If he has at least some personality and development, then go ahead.
It'll probably be a love triangle.
1) Movies get away with more
2) This was 6 years ago, things have gotten even worse
>If he has at least some personality and development, then go ahead.
Now we're talking. I want some of that.
A relationship between Megumi and Blue could work if they do it like Nozomi and Coco.
I'm with. Nozomi and Nuts felts weird what's with Nuts being a fairy and all but I rolled with it and like the romance bits. But Blue? He's like the god of Earth, 14 year old girls shouldn't be dating god.
Well, Blue is a god, so I'm not sure if that guy is interested in dating a mortal, let alone a 14 year old student.
Sagara is more in Megumi's ballcourt. But you know how things go with childhood friends...
Woah, I hope this guy's back didn't break.
I'm down with that if he's a cool dude.
The crush could be one side with Megumi oogling him, but she switches more to Sagara instead.
Because "Funnelcake Cheer" isn't as catchy.
Fortune is probably going to show up really early but stay under the radar or oppose the initial Cures until she joins, given that we have her VA and a description of her being a loner already and yet we have neither of those for Honey despite her civilian form being shown in places.
KJ has it made, why's this nigga so mad?
So he's a knee man. Good to know.
>Cure Heart's knee, tell me your secrets!
>implying you don't want to be the guy in the kigu
Wait, it is? What?
Then I've been fapping to...
Oh... Oh no...
I want to be the little girl in the audience.
Nah, it's okay. It's like fapping to a trap.
That won't stop me from fapping to Bel.
The bad guy is really hard to redeem this time around. Normally, you only need one good daughter.
It doesn't say she joins in July though, it says she appears.
It's not "like" it's the textbook definition.
And he just sprung it.
But we know Fortune is going to show up early so maybe it's not Fortune
Wait, what did I miss? We know when Honey and Fortune are joining? How? Why?
>It doesn't say she joins in July though, it says she appears.
I KNEW SHE WOULD FUCKING JOIN DURING THE THIRD COUR
FUCK YOU TOEI
July is 2nd cour bro
We know when Honey is joining due to >>100250522, and some post in the last thread mentioned Honey joining the team in April and Fortune joining in July.
Maybe they'll put some use to the worldwide Cures after all.
END of the second cour.
Appear, not join.
If she appears in the second cour then she'll be joining in the third.
That makes no sense.
She's gonna be Muse 2.0. Do you understand now?
We know more about Fortune's character at this point than we do Honey's, it would be illogical for her to make no appearances in the show until July.
Remember a little thing named Moonlight? She's a veteran cure. And we knew about her long before she joined.
Fortune is also a veteran.
Roughly, the cours don't line up with midseason finales, so she appears on either side of that line.
We know more about Fortune's character at this point than we do Honey's, it would be illogical for her to make no appearances in the show until July. Also the fact that she already has a VA announced.
Of course, they could just be doing the whole keeping-Honey-info-secret because Honey == Ribbon.
They could be really boring and show her in flashbacks while giving her her powers back later.
Muse and Moonlight both "appeared" in the first cour.
But you don't understand the implications of the word 登場, it's not just first appearance.
She'll have sporadic appearances but no real screentime and episodes until she joins properly. It's gonna be Muse and Moonlight all over again, joining during late thirties, get 5 focus episodes in a row and then straight into the finale.
>Looking up stage show pics
Holy shit, the Fresh kigs are awful.
>But you don't understand the implications of the word 登場, it's not just first appearance.
Then explain it to us smart-boy. You know not everyone here knows moon.
Oh, I didn't know you were on production team.
>kigs are awful
>Holy shit, kigs are nightmare inducing awful.
Fixed it for you
No shit it's nothing but speculation. But hey, it's what has happened the both times it has happened before. Considering Toei's record it'll be a miracle if the same thing does not happen again.
It's only some of them though. Smile got arguably the best ones though Doki Doki comes close.
>Fortune shows up early on (between eps 5-10)
>calls Lovely and Princess scrub shit and refuses to fight with them, goes off to fight her own battles
>the main trio and Fortune both make their way to Queen Mirage's palace
>Fortune challenges them to test whether they're ready to fight Mirage
>stalemate until the villain actually takes the initiative and attacks them while they're weak
>Fortune has no choice but to retreat with the trio
>reluctantly fights with them in the 3rd cour but doesn't fall in line
>eventually grows to respect Lovely and they become a whole unit
I'd like that.
Don't be mean
>reluctantly fights with them in the 3rd cour
She doesn't seem to be that kind of character. Specially not when all of them being defeated was essentially her fault.
Someday I'll get lucky enough and like the Cure that gets the most screentime and love from the staff.
I bet that the day I end up liking a Pink the most she'll end up getting shafted somehow.
Should have hopped on the Yayoi bandwagon while it was still rolling.
So far Lovely is my favorite, wonder how that'll turn out for me.
Younger ones then?
>Alice guess where my finger just was
One can't pick what one likes. It just happens to be like it is.
She's the pink. Your money will always be safe by betting on them.
If you live a lie long enough you eventually believe that lie yourself.
Sorry anon, I don't have enough power to be an Akibaranger.
You know, I generally assume that everyone here watches live, but I guess that's not the case.
What are the percentages like, I wonder? Are there more raw-watchers or sub-watchers? In these threads specifically, I mean. I don't think we're representative of the internet as a whole.
I can't stop watching this trailer.
I generally wait for subs, but I'll watch live if I'm awake when it airs.
When Heartcatch was airing, I did all three every week.
I'd say a lot of us go in raw, but still want to see it subbed. I don't understand chink and I'm not terribly interested in learning.
I do a mix of both, depends how good the episode looks.
I missed the live watch, my Japanese isn't great so I just watch mostly for the discussion.
When I miss the live watch I wait for subs, and I always rewatch with subs.
Where the fuck is lolipophiphop?
>Akiba no Majou
>Story of three middle-aged housewives who grew up dreaming of being magical girls only to find that the delusions and fantasies of the male fanbases of Magical Girl series have taken form and begun to damage the boundaries of reality, giving them their powers and opening the door to evil.
Would you watch it?
He didn't think we were actually waiting for him to sub so he didn't bother. He still hasn't bothered.
Popcorn Cheer is a cute as fuck name.
>Our first priority is to stop them from getting the last Decors.
In that case, may I humbly suggest that you STOP USING SUPER RED NOSES.
Smile's plot was just wasted potential. Best to just enjoy the character focuses and avoid anything else.
Joker didn't give a fuck.
I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I thought I would at the outset.
I was suspecting that.
I haven't been able to catch the livestreams in a while due to work. Watching raws by myself isn't as rewarding, since while Precure plot and dialogue is simple enough that I can pick up the gist 95% of the time, I'd just as soon wait for subs and the second wave of discussion that comes with them.
Such is the fate of being a Smile fan.
>This is really a FAIL pretty cure grupe!
The truth behind Hapicha haters uncovered.
My weekend goes sour without livewatching TV Asahi's morning slot.
Akane is perfection.
Yeah it is. What's up with the hatin' all of a sudden?
This. I don't follow Kyoryuger with subs and generally don't care about Sentai but I still have to watch it every week to feel complete.
I agree. I'm going to eat some popcorn right now.
>I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I thought
Everyone who bashes Smile would say the same if they'd actually watch it.
Does anyone know of a place that keeps logs of the 2chan (二次元実況) livewatch threads? I forgot to save the one for episode 47.
>No one can dislike Smile and anyone who does is a liar!
I'm one of those weirdos that watches shows/seasons people tell me not to watch.
I have found lots of unpopular gems doing so.
I actually really liked Smile in the beginning. I just couldn't take any more disappointments one after the other.
I enjoyed Smile exactly as much as I thought I would. It's the kind of show that is very much exactly what it says on the tin.
I dunno, there were quite a lot of frowns for a show called "Smile Precure".
Kyoryuger is just good like that. My only hope for the next Sentai is for it to be watchable. Not even good, or funny, just watchable.
Did they finally kill Candelira, Luckyroo and Aigaron? I don't even watch Kyoryuger but I'm curious about that.
Luckyuro is being turned into Deboss' vessel or something. Candelira and Aigaron will be replaced, but they haven't said if kill or not.
Luckiero got fired in the last episode. But all three are still alive and kicking.
However, they're getting replacements for the end game. I doubt they're getting killed off. Especially Candelira (raising the romance flags with Nossan) and Luckiero just wants to read manga.
Some anons have the severe necessity to fit in in /pc/ without bothering to sit through a show.
I am proud to say I was at the dawn of Smile hate
I think he meant frowns in the show what with the girls being mindbroken left and right, and the attacks not having smiles at all.
How many people who think Doki is the worst Precure started with Smile?
How many people think Smile is the worst started with Heartcatch?
Or maybe people just plain dislike it. You know, opinions and all.
Stop acting like if Smile is a perfect masterpiece that is impossible to dislike because it's not. I'm saying this as someone who likes Smile, your behavior is embarrassing to watch.
That's quite the stretch and even then he was obviously not referring to that.
I started with Smile and so far Nothing is the worst season.
Started with Smile, hated it.
Watched Doki, ended up disliking it too.
My dream is to be able to enjoy a Precure from beginning to end while it's airing.
I think Doki is the best and I started with Suite
Started with Doki when it was nearing the midseason climax, ended up watching a bunch of other seasons later and now have a mixed opinion about Doki.
Started with Smile, dislike Doki. Haven't seen enough of them to say it's the worst, but I'd like to hope I enjoy the others more.
Remember when Mana was funny?
When was able to say things not related to Regina. Good times.
Every single episode.
Started with Doki, and it ended up being my favorite. I personally dislike Smile and Heartcatch. I still have to watch Gogo.
I think some little girls here need a nap.
I started with HC, think Fresh is the best, and Doki is the worst.
Smile is fun.
The first half of Doki was great, I find. A shame the second half just isn't as strong.
Or as fun.
Don't you like fresh breezes, anon?
I started with Futari wa. I don't think either of Dokidoki or Smile are the worst. New-age kiddies have it good.
First 10 episodes were good, that's it.
For me, first episode was good, that's it.
The first 10 seconds were good, that's it.
Shame there aren't any IDs to tell Doki haters apart in the threads.
If you were only to like one episode, that's certainly a good one to like. I couldn't hold it against you.
I know I'm part of the minority, but Doki fell from grace for me when Regina got introduced.
Let's start a forum. With avatars and signatures and all kinds of >fun stuff. :^)
It's for the best. 4chan wouldn't be as fun if we could identify everyone.
Besides, think of it this way. If you became a HaCha hater, you wouldn't want to be easily identified.
I remember it gave me hope and dream, and I really thought it was going to be great.
> hating Regina
You have your own opinion and find this reason understandable.
>Duuuuuuh, are we fun yet?
I hate those faggots so much, holy shit...
Nothing wrong with wanting to tell real complaints apart from the constant pile of shitposting.
>Mana's henshin pose
But it has.
Disagreement aside, what was different about the first episode?
Usually, I just assume that everyone who doesn't explain himself logically is shitposting.
I honestly had my doubts about this girl at the beginning of the episode. She seemed like the kind of character I can never stand - helping people who don't want to helped and all.
But then this happened, and I saw the error of my ways.
First day on 4chan son? Grow some thicker skin.
You fix shit by not replying to obvious shitposting, not by complaining about it. the magical solution you need is not IDs, is called having some damn common sense.
I wish they would do this again.
Fight? That would be nice.
All this talk about Smile made me watch the Smile movie.
God I forgot how retardedly amazing the
It had some really good animation, Nico was a gosh darn cutie, I really liked how they actually used the picture book motif.
And seeing the princess forms again made me realize how shit Doki's super forms are, they really got lazy.
The movie also had a pretty good dose of mild despair. I love that.
8/10 would watch again.
Smile movie is everything Smile series should've been but wasn't.
Princess form is the best power up in precure. Shame they don't actually fight.
Doki's wings are great. Kind of boring, and not really much of a super mode, but great. Princess forms are not good-looking at all. Really, the only good super mode is Super Silhouette.
Ami Koshimizu voices both Ryuuko and Hibiki.
Rider Kick. I love Rider Kicks.
Bah, Love did it first and she was hotter
Well, you can't have everything.
They're not really costumes conducive to fighting anyway.
Almost everything. The constant praising of Miyuki in the second half was a little off.
My favorite super form is Cure Angel. I like Doki Doki's for the same reason, neither are simply pure white dresses.
>Princess forms are not good-looking at all
You take that back.
The best weapon
Only thing I really did not like was how everyone acted towards Miyuki in the second half. It was very out of character.
>WE LOVE MIYUKI
>WE LOVE MIYUKI'S SMILE
>MIYUKI'S SMILE IS GREAT
>DID WE ALREADY TELL YOU WE LOVED MIYUKI AND HER SMILE?
If you hadn't watched the series you'd think they all had been living in a pit of despair before Miyuki became a factor in their lives.
I found the princess forms ugly, and most of all, tacky. That's why they never fought with them, it would have been a bitch to animate.
Shame the two who were already friends didn't get a time to show it.
I thought it was fine. Miyuki needed some major cheering up and what were they going to compliment her about except her smile?
I mean, come on.
The shit taste in this thread is getting out of control.
It was just so damn exaggerated. At least with Doki Doki, you could argue that Alice and MakoPi were living in despair.
All super forms are horrendous. The most decent ones are the Fresh and HC ones because they are something that is not adding 10 tons of frills and layers to the dresses.
I'll be forever mad.
I'm glad you're here to help balance us out, anon.
I wish they had used the Crescendo forms more in Suite. But nope, use it in one episode and give it to Kawano.
Who's Kingu ovu seitokaichou
But I love frills. It's why the Suite costumes are my favorites.
>Princess forms are not good-looking at all
>Doki's wings are great
Shit taste confirmed
You have to be a man to be a king. There's only one answer.
I remember getting annoyed when Hibiki went Crescendo because I thought it would be yet another pink only final fight, but then everyone went Crescendo and I was happy.
Karen actually did seitokaichou work.
Itsuki did her job too.
Reika shouldn't even count. She became it at the late stages of Smile and we never saw her doing anything.
Rikka does all the seitokaichou work.
So Karen or Itsuki.
No, no. Tsubomi is in love with Itsuki, and Tsubomi is in love with every boy, so Itsuki is a boy. Not a man. Simple logic.
Oh, and Rikka had the whole "kaeru" thing. That was depressing.
Rikka seemed pretty well off. Not once we did see her feeling lonely because of her parents being busy. The kaeru thing is more of a good luck charm so that her parents would always come back home safely, not because she was lonely.
There were hints of it in the Doctoring episode when her parents couldn't be home even though they promised. It's why she proposed to take Raquel on a date. It's not a big issue otherwise though. That's probably because she wasn't as bad off as Karen or Honoka.
What? She's totally lonely. Not to Honoka levels, but she is. I haven't watched her episodes in a while, but I'm pretty sure that's a major thing. I mean, she sees Mana's mom more than her own.
>So Karen or Itsuki
Komachi helped Karen sometimes, so Itsuki should be the Kingu because she did a lot by herself.
But I can'thelp but think about that Itsuki doujin about Dicks.
Rikka's entire arc is depressing if you think about it. Even she admits that she won't be with Mana forever, while Mana goes after everyone else.
Or you know, the writers never brought it up or forgot
She had a whole swarm of zombie student council members. I doubt that was the case.
Dokidoki is really quite a mature season, all things considered. Abandoned children and problematic loves all over the place.
You must have missed where Reika ran against the generals for president position.
For a second I thought this was from her second to last focus episode, the election one, until I saw the file name.
Fucking orphans and implied corpses everywhere.
She's a little too used to letting go of people.
Huh, I now realize that her seemingly absurd apology to her mom for being a burden as a child fits perfectly.
then fw must be 100 times more mature
hahahaha you are so funny
Not really, kids shows are often like that.
I guess everything seems mature after Smile.
no it is because you have some problem in your head.
>Rikka could have had an arc devoted to her dependency on Mana and her lonely child syndrome
>Rikka could have had Makoto as an assumed rival for more than one episode
>Rikka could have redeemed Ira
Why is Mana so ugly?
>Not-Mana related things
You are such a jokester.
That's just new stage being bad
If you have a problem with it...
Eh, Rikka redeeming Ira is still on the table. At the very least, Toei bothering to give Ira and Rikka substantial dialogue last episode hints at something.
Most of Rikka's episodes were about the whole dependency issue though.
>I'll stop being jealous over Mana
>I'll play karuta because it's fun and not worry as much about what my parents want
>I'll obtain my own reasons to become a doctor.
>I will have to let go of Mana someday but that doesn't matter.
>>Rikka could have redeemed Ira
There is still hope
>Implying Ira won't become good only when Mana hugs King Jikochuu back into Burger King
I'll be surprised if Rikka actually ends up being the one turning him good.
> he was obviously not referring to that.
That's exactly what I was referring to, though.
I thought they did fight in Princess form in the final fight, at least.
As I said before, Smile is really good at creepy when it wants to.
Almost always due to something done by not-Hisoka.
> Smile is really good at creepy when it wants to.
Those were the Ultra Forms, which were even busier designs. They didn't care because they decided to use all the non-crying budget of the finale for that small scene.
What did the little girls think of Joker, anyway?
Just watched that episode. It was terrifying.
They probably found him creepy like most people.
There was a distinct lack of communication of Smile's staff with the public now that I think about it. I can't remember a single interview with the staff or anything like that, the most I remember was that pls don't sexualize da pissu ;___; tweet.
>pls don't sexualize da pissu ;___;
I've done my best to uphold that.
She's too adorable to sexualize
The only one I've sexualized is Peach, and I feel terrible about it.
>not sexualizing the entire Suite cast
I haven't seen Suite
Don't worry, those aren't dragon dildos or anything weird.
>pls don't sexualize da pissu ;___; tweet.
Did anyone cap this?
>pls don't sexualize da pissu ;___; tweet.
Dat lack of self awareness.
Wait, WHAAAAAT? What the hell is going on here? I thought I was watching Fresh, not DX! What, did they change the opening to hype girls for the movie or something? I swear, for a second I didn't know what was I even watching. I had to pause and check the filename. I almost lost it right here.
>What, did they change the opening to hype girls for the movie or something?
They do this all the time. Sentai and Kamen Rider do it, too.
>I almost lost it right here.
Yeah, according to your post, you seem to have barely kept yourself together.
They do this with every single movie ever, just like in Sentai and Kamen Rider.
Well, I wasn't aware of such a thing. And believe me, it's the worst thing that can happen to you when you're marathoning the whole franchise. I almost had a brain aneurysm right there...
I kind of like it, especially since I haven't actually gotten around to watching any of the movies yet. It's neat seeing these commercials and thinking "oh boy, I'll watch that soon!"
I seriously thought I was going crazy for a second.
Whelp, they won't fool me next time.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. I'll watch it after episode 10.
I like how even in the movie advertisements the Fleshes are premium QUALITY.
>There's never going to be romance in post-00s children shows
Look how wrong you are
Is that the one where the main character dies at the end?
There's plenty of romance in children's anime, even nowadays, it's just when certain franchises and names, like Pretty Cure, tend to get flak from angry soccer moms.
PTA is the enemy of all that's good and just
Yes. Damn you, Battle Spirits.
I really don't think you should be walking around on the south pole without even wearing pants.
Into download it goes.
Ah, fuck it, I'll watch it too.
My little bad girl can't be this cute.
I enjoy their sketchiness, it goes well with their funny attitude. Except when they dance, now that's just sad, especially when you compare it to the ending...
What's that you say? Another post-00s anime with romance? Well alright
I'll choose that lack of communication over getting dumb interviews where the staff jerks off over how amazing they are.
If only they could have made Mana as good as they are. They tried so hard.
> you will never ever be seduced/dominated by Eas
Go Nagai agrees.
This is getting seriously creepy, dude.
That's the face I make when I realize Yayoi doesn't want to copulate with me.
Why doesn't Rider get flak from soccer moms?
They're enjoying the ikemen too much to complain.
Because those soccer moms are too busy fapping to those hot young men to care.
So whoever designed HaCha was a genius.
You son of a bitch.
Just finished ep 6 of Smile. It really seems to be doing everything right so far. I really enjoy it.
You just going to be using that same picture when you post about your progress?
Yeah the beginning episodes are super fun.
Y5 was literally 2008
>You just going to be using that same picture when you post about your progress?
I clicked the wrong picture, and then I didn't want to remove my post in case someone already replied to it (so I would make a broken reply link).
With the mirror akanbe, couldn't they have tried punching them before using their finishers?
Smiles are bakas. Maybe Candy infected them.
>With the mirror akanbe, couldn't they have tried punching them before using their finishers?
Yes. Yes they could have. They actually do improve at fighting shortly, before backpedaling, and then improving a lot again over the first half.
And a secret Precure base! I can just imagine little girls shuffling books at home after watching Smile.
You're getting better at this.
Don't they have fucking police in this godforsaken town or what?
(unnamed) Police shouldn't get involved with MotWs. Just look at Kuuga to see how that goes.
>(unnamed) Police shouldn't get involved with MotWs
Better call Inferno Cop.
I wasn't expecting them to be useful or something, but at least show them doing their job and helping evacuate the people. If this wasn't a little girls' animu the body count would had been off the charts right now...
At least this time even the media is aware of the monster attacks and the existence of the Cures.
It still boggles my mind how in SS they managed to fight a huge monster in Saki's backyard and go unnoticed even though their classmates were inside baking a cake.
>If this wasn't a little girls' animu the body count would had been off the charts right now...
One thing that bothers me a bit about Doki. The Dokis should just focus on defeating the enemy, and ignore collateral damage. It'll be restored when the Jikochuu is defeated anyway. This bugged me when they defended the letters from the goat. I wonder if dead civilians are resurrected as well.
If it wasn't a little girls animu the JSDF would be doing something.
But minna's egaos and kimochis!
>I wonder if dead civilians are resurrected as well.
They better if they want to restore Trump Kingdom.
The backyard thing was silly, but in SS it wouldn't have mattered, since it's established that once the bad guys are defeated, it's like if they had never existed.
At least here people do notice them. It was fucking stupid in Yes 5, where they fight the monsters in the middle of EVERYWHERE and nobody ever notices them.
>t. I wonder if dead civilians are resurrected as well.
I guess they are, cause why not...
Little girls' animu or not, anybody should be doing anything.
>Nao and Akane gorilla arms
I want to lick Miyuki's everything
Even her mi~yucky?
I'd love a threesome with Miyuki and Nozomi.
I'd love a foursome with Miyuki and Nozomi and Akari
I'd love a fivesome with Miyuki and Nozomi and Akari and Hibiki.
I just finished futari wa pretty cure, where do I go next in the series?
Yes!5 then Fresh then SplashStar.
Basically anywhere but splash star
You watch max heart?
MOTHERFUCKER! They do have police officers in the town after all! What the hell were they doing all this time then? Well, now they're police dogs I guess...
Max Heart, use the FW momentum or otherwise you won't be able to make yourself watch it later.
Why what's wrong with it?
It's good, don't listen to anyone.
No, he must know the truth.
Watch max heart fight after FW
But it's good! That's the only truth about Max Heart.
I recommend ignoring MaxHeart until you run out of other things to watch.
Watch Max Heart and another series side by side, say Fresh.
I really recommend watching two at a time for most of Precure, helps lessen burnout on longer shows in general but I guess it depends on how quickly or prone to burning out you are.
Why is she so knpk?
Since no one is actually giving you an answer, Max heart is slow, the characters are already developed and as such many episodes are simply a waste of time. The screentime distribution tilts way away from Honoka for literally no justifiable reason. And not towards the new character, but Nagisa, who was already the most developed anyway. It makes her get old very fast. Hikari doesn't do her job of mixing things up or making things interesting again. There are about 10 new fairies including one of the worst in the franchise, and they're all bad. And this is all extending the time you spend watching Nagisa as a cure to 100 episodes. It also drops a lot in animation quality.
The only reason I'd recommend watching it after Futari wa is so that going Max Heart -> Splash Star makes SS seem like such a godsend, going from the low point to the high point of the franchise immediately.
Going from MH to SS made me miss Nagisa and Honoka.
I watched FW first, then anon told me to skip MH and go SS.
But after 2 episodes I couldn't go on anymore because it was like FW all over again with different names, so I jumped to Smile and finished all 50 episodes in a few days and absolutely loved it.
Then I wanted to catch up to current discussion and went to watch Doki Doki right after Smile. Now I have been stuck around episode 30 of Doki Doki for 2 weeks. I don't want to drop it but I can't seem to finish one episode in one setting either. I will probably go watch Suite before Hacha comes out.
Do your best to burn through that part of Doki, the third cour was pretty awful. It picks up later.
Now you'll call the fairy tones annoying.
>going Max Heart -> Splash Star makes SS seem like such a godsend
I totally agree. Max Heart and Splash Star are like the darkest night and the shiniest day.
But the heartiels were really good. Most of them, at least. In fact, I wish they had spent a lot more time with them instead of wasting my goddamned time with fucking Purun, fucking Lulun, Hikari being fucking useless, the little kid doing fucking nothing and Nagisa being a fucking idiot. I mean, fuck, man. If it weren't for Ouroboros and Honoka I'd had totally dropped it...
I only hate her when she's being an idiot though.
Wow, this thread died.
Hot damn I didn't expect him to be this cute.
He's so clumsy and adorable, and he helps everybody like it's natural, without realizing it's counterproductive. So moe.
Westar is a miracle of the universe.
Waiting for subs.
I wonder if little girls liked him
I don't think there are polls for villains.
But who knows.
playing Kancolle and im@s CG
They could play good games instead of spreadsheet simulators with cute girls.
That's in the 00's man. We're in the 10's now.
What spreadsheet simulators?
They're RNG card games.
That's too bad.
Villains are often my favourite part of precure. They're always so fabulous.
Why did the Labyrinth people steal the pilot suits from Macross?
Not seeing it.
I'm not in my home and isn't my fault precure doesn't have a mobage
I play BBCP and Jojo ASB in my spare time
OH, you mean the classic shoulderpads that only Wester wears.
Yeah, he's a hardcore Macross fan.
FINAL ATTACK RIDE
After watching a couple of episodes of Splash star, one thing I can say is that I'm glad they didn't copy the skies getting purple and everything going dark whenever a monster appeared.
I always hated that, it made everything look ugly.
I'm also digging them using spirit energy powers. It looks cool.
Despite being so similar to FW, it sill feels like a breath of fresh air after MH.
Cure Regret and Cure Broom are great.
It turns into its own thing later on making the legacy of the originals less aparent.
Why can't I bring myself to continue with Doki Doki? I'm on ep 27 and Ace is a huge bitch. In fact, she is the queen bitch to end all bitch.
Because Dokidoki is mediocre.
Keep watching. She gets kind of better. And then worse...
But at least there are some cool episodes in-between. ^Some of them are even about her!
She starts to get kinda alright after episode 30-31.
Butts are to HaCha what breasts are to Fresh
Reading is hard, isn't it.
What answer will she give him /a/?
Will this be a "Not telling!" 2.0?
> implying he isn't going to be super homogay for one of the villains
Speaking of homogay: Who's the Fabmeister behind him?
They'll kiss and start making babies on screen
Blue: Deity of the Earth. Loves everything on the planet. Gives the transformation items to Precures and helps them with powerups.
Joe is lust?
She gets better by a bit though not by much. It's explained magnificently though.
Stop seducing me Erika
So I just finished Smile. I constantly hear people saying it's one of the worst seasons but for me I'd say it's up there as one of my favourite seasons.
The cast was loveable (Piss was slightly better than the other four though), the moral lessons were great and Joker was an entertaining villain. It was little too angsty at times but by the end of the series it really felt like they'd earned their happy ending. And that's a good feeling that anime rarely gives me.
>What answer will she give him /a/?
Gimmie the chocolate Hisao!
I fell behind a bit but I've caught up to episode 40. There's some flashes of greatness but overall it's really crushingly bland compared to, well, every other Precure series
Mana was pride all along!
>I constantly hear people saying it's one of the worst seasons
Don't mind them. These are the people watching Precure for the wrong reasons.
> Biseinen of this magnitude is Prince Endymion II
/pc/ watching Doki Doki Precure Episode 1 Director's Cut
>Baaaaaaaaw they dislike something I dislike so they are wrong :(
Yeah! Only happy faces are allowed in this thread!
>Will this be a "Not telling!" 2.0?
Jesus fuck not again
For the guy that keeps posting this: It's not a movie or anything special, just cross promotion. You can stop.
"Sorry, I like girls"
>mfw I like bitchy characters and enjoyed Ace's tsun towards the Dokis
>mfw I have no face
It was nice to see a Cure that went against the established team's methods for so long. Even if it's due to a combination of a grandma with terrible advice and a over-utilitarian nature that normally doesn't fit Precure
Yeah, especially towards Mana who had a meltdown all of a sudden. Having someone to shake them out of their comfort zone was good imho.
>who had a meltdown all of a sudden
Gee, I wonder why.
Surely it had nothing to do with some bitch coming from nowhere and almost killing a friend of hers who had not minutes before been brainwashed into hating her.
Ace telling her she's shit and should just give up is exactly what she needed.
If it wasn't for Ai, she would have given up.
Ace a shit.
A few more Manas and it'd be Doki in a nutshell.
Friend who's the daughter of the demon king, that just rekd you and all your friends and was about to kill you. Regina had to be stopped and only Ace had the cojones to do it.
I'm so jelly, I want cute precure stickers too.
What are you going to stick them on?
More like only Ace could be that cold blooded.
So according to this
>Milky Rose, Marine, and Melody are reds
>Beat and Berry are purples
>Rhythm and Moonlight are blues
Also, I don't see White, Luminous, SS Cures, Lance, and Davi there. Hmm.
Regina wasn't her friend. To Ace she was just another villain that had to be stopped. Justice is best served cold, and in her eyes she was saving them from death.
Well, that makes a pretty good setup for individual color movies then
On a bookmark or in my wallet I guess.
Why am I still trying to watch Doki Doki?
I could be watching Suite instead.
Sentai is weird at times
>Why am I still trying to watch Doki Doki?
Sentai is a poor man's Kamen Rider.
You should watch what you enjoy, Anon. Precure is not a job.
I liked Suite, but when I think back on it I don't remember much of it standing out. It mostly felt like a conglomeration of enjoyable nonsense. Probably Hummy's doing.
I am asking myself that as well. I just want to finish it I guess.
I feel like I've got some kind of obligation to watch doki, if only because its the airing series.
Still, dealing with Cure Bitch is a pain.
Its sentai, don't ask for explanations.
This guy's right
Well he will turn into a girl permanently when he becomes Cure Honey so their relationship won't go too far
Welcome to Sentai.
HEY, THAT ONE IS KAMEN RIDER
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PULL?
What an evolution.
I want a Net Movie with gags from them.
I need to see the transformations already.
Fushigi na chikara ga waitara dou-shiou? (Dou-suru?)
>Not going for the fairly obvious Cure Ace joke
Why am I not watching Sun Vulcan?
For what purpose?
Ooki na koe de Pirikapriri Lala!
You didn't see the preview?
Excellent. This will come in extremely useful, I'm sure.
> cartoons for little girls
For future reposting, take this.
Tentacle hentai or sunday morning show for 5-year-old girls?
Smile has made me smile with every single episode so far.
Actually for 8 year old girls. Thank god, I can now be without guilt.
Candy a chou baka.
Best villains, best filler.
>implying it's not helping them to become better women
I bet the J-Man puts something special into his donuts.
I love how he takes her shit in stride.
>When were you born?
>Long long ago
>"long long ago"
What kind of clock counts to 22?
One with a bad end.
This fight is just too good.
A spooky villain clock.
I actually really like the clock motif, I think it's a neat way to count down to the midseason climax.
I agree with you, but there were way to many different clocks in the second half.
Smile is a lot of fun.
Just turn your brain off and enjoy the near mindless comedy.
How many times did Mana hit her head as a kid?
Clearly not enough
I'm getting mixed signals here.
Welcome to /pc/
welcome to /a/
A countdown clock doesn't need to start at any specific number. Think of it more as a kitchen timer.
>Bel lies broken and defeated
>He starts disintegrating
>Mana grabs his hand.
>"I promised that you would become my Yes man, and I intend to keep it. Serve me, Bel."
>Overcome with cowardice, Bel agrees.
>He still looks the same, for he plans to stab Mana in the back one day.
So hard that they had to give her a cybernetic brain.
>Precure written by Urobuchi.jpg
I just threw up.
Precure written by Urobuchi would've resulted in all of Mana's ideals being shattered and her ending the series a much more humble person.
Huh, looking at the direction of Gaim, it seems like it's happening.
Everyone dies or suffers to reshape the MC's psyche.
I wonder who could be behind this post?
Yayoi is perfectly designed for the task of pleasing multiple men at the same time.
