ITT:pinpoint the moment when a good series went to shit
Nonono, it went to shit exactly the moment Mozgus transforms. I remember clearly I instantly felt something strange, like if it was a joke page or something.
but that arc had whore waifu
shit taste niggas can't handle a shift in setting.
Fuck you, Luca is a goddess.
I know, but that is the exact point things start going assballs
>you will never see Luka again because miura have to draw fat people drinking piss from a loli
go back slurping shit from public toilets, fucker
Protip: everything goes to shit eventually because the artist thinks his series shouldn't stay the same fucking thing forever and fans will cry out at any kind of change and say it's ruined now.
Best girl of them all
fuck those magical lolis with personality of a used post-it
Gosh anon, you sure know how to back up your opinion with valid points.
>Protip: everything goes to shit eventually
except it only happens in a minority of cases.
I actually cried tears of rage when that stupid afro broccoli haired fucker didn't get trampled to death. Its my head canon that the Joachim guy turns her in as soon as she follows him and she is stuck in the torture basement for the rest of her days.
I recently marathoned the manga. I hear the movies are shit. Should I even bother with the anime, seeing as it only covers the band of the hawk arc? I've watched 3 episodes of it so far. Was going to drop it on the 1st but then I read about the reason for the changes.
My opinion is subjectively valid for myself, that's what it counts and the best a mere human can do.
or do you think there's something like a opinion that is objectively valid?
Stop talking shite m8
I like all of Berserk. Even the boat. Come at me fucking queermos.
OP is the only queer in this thread.
A point of view can still be grounded in reason, like a hypothesis formed from observation.
I hate boats. Fight me.
Use to be something, now this manga is just another casualty of the moe plague
Fuck off, loli wizard on Guts shoulders is the best thing to happen in my life.
WHY CAN'T WE CARRY LONGBOATS AND PUNCH HORSES FOREVER?
The third movies isn't that bad. The anime is good and the OST is fucking top notch.
Everything after the vampires appeared in Gantz excluding most of the Osaka arc.
I didnt feel this way until after I had finished the manga and realized how much better it would have been if aiko had died in a car accident before pun pun ever saw her again. i was shocked and excited when this happened but i think it would have been more interesting to leave pun pun to his own demons and keep feel of the manga as it went deeper and deeper into his psyche
You mean the moment it gets great, right?
Keima standing over a younger version of himself.
Agree. Damn thing turned into farmland saga- old mcdonald stuck on a farm. Glad they finally got off that place.
If you are talking about berserk then the page where his purse was introduced.
>Read Berserk now
>Guts cutting up tentacles
>Has group of mid-tier fighters useless against any opponents outside of fodder-tier
>Has RAGE-MODE that's bad for him but magical girl can help him control it
>Still chasing after the same pretty-face badguy
It's fucking Inuyasha
Your taste is shit is pretty objective on /a/.
I don't want another houseshit about stupid things.
It's true, and you know it.
Yes, I actually enjoyed Naruto up to a point, I'm an idiot, bite me
Berserk went shit after mind break rape and hymen restoration quest.
/a/ still civilly Naruto up to the Itachi fight, though opinions were pretty quickly turning sour after the snake-teleport bullshit.
Ah man, don't remind me. I really loved the mange, and then that forced ending. ;_;
It was *way* before this, but if you didn't abandon the series at this point, you may need to re-evaluate the choices you made in your life
There's still hope tho.
The battle chapters were good, and I reckon something's gonna happen after all the family is happy for a chapter or two.
Anyone here read Tower of God?
I still think it's... Kinda okay.
>Armor mage is strongest when not wearing armor
It's been a long time, but this still kind of pisses me off.
Why did it get a forced ending, anyways?
I love reminding people so that we never forget how far a series can fall. I am still secretly hoping for a part 2, but that will never happen-
But it got better
Impossible, this can only go too ways
>Thorfin continues to be a boring pacifist
>Thorfin goes back to being a badass and shits all over his character development we wasted years of farming on
Unless we change protags Vinland is finished.
Also, what are human proportions?
Sanji being useless and Nami/Robin being characterless titmonsters will never be reverted though.
Her armor gives stats like an RPG, how it looks doesn't really effect why she uses it.
Because that fight was too long? Or do you mean his leg getting fucked?
Koreans have shit taste, that's why.
It was axed.
Can't argue with you there
Wow well fuck them.
His leg got fucked and the series went full retard with the metaphysical introspection.
i love that series
WHY DID THEY END IT THAT BAD FUAARK
>hyunmi and gangryong
they were a couple right?
For me, Fairy Tail died when Mistogan became fucking Jellal. I finished the arc out of respect for the character then dropped it.
Well, it's probably the first option then. I sure don't hope they don't end the manga when they reach America.
Also, he still might be a badass, like his father was, even without really fighting. His father was too considered a pacifist, and beat the crap out of Askeladds crew.
There were definitely sparks between them.
I can't believe I recognized that.
There's only ONE person who could do something like that. I would've been surprised if you DIDN'T recognize it.
post timeskip might as well not exist for me. The set up and fall at the end of part one were great though.
Lucy's entire showing at the Tournament made me give up in disgust
>Lose to hair user despite having combat barber as a summon
>Lose in water battleground despite having overpowered water-summon, in fact her summon ditches her directly leading to her being nearly tortured to death, summon doesn't even get a reprimand
Who the FUCK told them to grow up.
I'm clinging onto hope.
God I just want this arc to be over.
What a huge ass pull.
First of all how dare you
It's kinda hard not to recognize considering the backlash it got
How come this wasn't posted?
It went to shit way sooner
Because that was one of the best parts.
But that's the part where it started to get interesting.
I'm mixed about it. On one hand it's pretty sloppy writing to simply introduce two gun-using characters and kill one off, especially with a generic mentor-must-die trope. On the other hand it was an important moment of transition that showed how realistically mentally immature little girls would fall apart under stress and danger.
It's sort of like the puppy-love thing that drives the main storyline. Sure it's really lacking depth but again you've got that realism where a character as young as Homura r would imprint so strongly on the first person to show her any degree of kindness.
Soul Eater went to shit when the mangaka tried to end it.
That part in FMA when they go to Briggs.
I'm actually fine with that happening. If I remember correctly, there was a recap episode that ended it on his death, which was better than the actual ending. It would have been one of the rare times in anime when evil actually wins.
I think Aiko dying earlier would have been interesting, but I like what we got regardless. Manga should have ended exactly at the panel when we saw Midori and Yuuchi's baby though.
the moment itself was great and the whole thing would've been great if they had just ended it there (sans the 1st EP of course)
FMA never went to shit. It stuck to the plan it had since the beggining. And by plan I mean an alchemical masterpiece.
Nope, go back to reading generic zombie flicks
Yeah but, at Briggs you definitely felt a shift in tone, it stopped being dark with unretractable violence and started being this safe, almost slap-sticky battle shonen with a guaranteed happy ending.
Even the fodder Chimera introduced in that arc all survived happily.
Gigantomakhia last chapter is out OP
>implying you are not going to rush and read it
just stop reading and say it was the ending
too lazy to google, has it ended or come close to ending yet?
I actually agree with this
You are missing the point, no one has a problem against L's death, the guy is saying that everything that comes after is shit
>implying a shonen could exist without the mc being special
Where can I read it?
I understood that much. What I was saying was that it would have been fine if they had just ended on the recap instead of continuing the series.
actually I felt like it went to shit when suddenly they just flat out reveal who the armor and colossal are
It became shit because it turned out to be shounen instead of Man against Monster
>in a shonen magazine
>expecting it to not be shonen
I thought they handled it well. There will probably be a greater threat so the author didn't want to keep something like that secret for too long so he could move the plot forward
This was the end of the second season right? Man, I don't dislike the third, but you could easily tell something was different in the air. The new companions were alright though (even if I wouldn't have noticed if the kid suddenly dissapeared)
He left his fucking hat behind.
They still haven't finished the GS ball thing. It's a huge plot point that they just forgot about. Let that sink in, they put such little effort into the story that they forgot about a major plot point.
That was actually executive meddling. The GS ball was supposed to start a Celebi plot, with a multi-part special and all that. Except Celebi was used on the movie instead, so they had to drop everything and just forget the GS ball existed.
When this one came in it began to deteriorate. Not too badly though.
