Are there really people who didn't like this?
I just finished the movie and it was enjoyable as fuck.
The entire show is pretty flawless, as it achieves what it set out to do perfectly.
Some people just hate fun.
Keion is in my top 5 list of favourite shows.
K-ON is a masterpiece.
Are there really people who don't like them?
I just finished Strawberry Jam and it was enjoyable as fuck.
The entire band is pretty flawless, as they achieve what they set out to do perfectly.
Is K-ON moe? I don't think it is.
D-Did you just make this?
I made it five minutes in and deleted it from my PC forever.
Might as well watch MLP and get the same shit
Best anime, best girl
Oh. Didn't notice.
May I save this image?
Be more obvious you piece of shit.
Be my guest
>Are there really people who didn't like this?
There are those of us who want our shounen to exist in our "cute girls doing cute things" animu, be just as good-looking, and be just as useful.
I mean... all this talk from them about "supporting the industry" is kinda difficult when there's no good reason to support it. Cute girls can only go so far.
Spirit = MPP > ST > SJ > Feels > CHz > HCTI > CS > DM
Before I watched K-on, I thought all the people who said they didn't like it had a vaild point, since I heard it was about girls doing nothing.
After watching it I realized that those people were either trolls or they didn't watch it.
Which one are you anon?
good taste but I would place Feels and SJ higher than MPP
>you will never hold Mugi's hand
>you will never comfort Mio when she's afraid
>you will never play with Ritsu
>you will never take care of Yui
Azusa isn't even a real keion. She's why season 2 sucked and season 1 was a masterpiece.
I watched the first episode. It's really boring but I don't have anything against it.
What's with all the hate Azusa receives?
Out of the five she's the worst, but none of the girls are bad.
Yeah AnCo album rankings are pretty much justifiable in any order due to how solid all of their releases are.
Person Pitch is my favorite solo album by the group.
I blame Komeiji
It's true that the moe fanbase is gigantic on /a/ but that doesn't change that K-ON is complete shit. You can enjoy it but don't pretend it's anywhere above average.
s-stop it anon
cuz she's a ratty cunt who always gives everyone shit and drives from the backseat
Please explain why you think it's shit so I can prove you wrong.
Was K-On good? Yes. Great? Yes.
Masterpiece? No, for something to be considered masterpiece it has to be more artistic. Masterpiece of SoL genre? Yes, most of SoL anime is not deep or very artistic - their main purpose is to be fun and enjoyable and K-On has top level of those traits.
I don't think you realize how fun fun things are
Holy shit switch the ">" the other way to "<" and you've almost got the objectively correct order, for HTT of course, not AnCo:
Yui>Mio>Mugi>Ritsu>my bum lel>Azusa
While it's definitely not my favorite anime, I still enjoyed the shit out of it and appreciated it for what it did. Pretty much the pinnacle of Moe/SoL shows and technically was perfect. How much you personally like it is entirely subjective
It's because she was not needed. The show was perfect with 4 girls as main cast, there was no reason to introduce a 5th mc. In the end they ended up dividing a show into two, original main cast and Azusa with classmates and I enjoyed episodes with main cast a shitton more. Plus all here no fun and no gay allowed antics.
You just don't know superior moe.
K-ON fans are always the biggest casuals.
And then there is this fagget.
you can't out-moe this, son
What would you have preferred for the ending then? If Azusa wasn't there we couldn't have that ending.
Azusa has the best doujins.
I finished all of season one in like a week and its been 6 months and I still haven't finished season 2. they stopped playing music all together pretty much and it got kind of boring. i really wanted to like it though.
Not him but that's what made Asuza's appearance worth it. I didn't really hate her as much as many other people on /a/, but i didn't really like her, for reasons that should appear obvious
If you enjoyed season one a lot, definitely stick with season two. Towards the end, you're greatly rewarded
It could have been something completely different and not Azusa centered at all. There's an endless amount of ways you can finish a show with, depends on ones imagination.
>it achieves what it set out to do perfectly
This is the key here. It's good at being a moe SoL. Not the best imo, but good. Many people don't understand at all what the show was designed for and watched it just because it was really popular, even though they never had a personal whim to do so.
Thus you get people going
>hurr I hate k-shit forever AND EVER HURRR MOESHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!! :( :( gonna go back to watching epic animes like naurto and one pice ;)))
Actually this exact same thing happened with Lucky Star too. People inherently don't want to feel left out if there's a really popular anime making waves, so they sometimes jump in way out of their league, and get all pissy when they don't understand why it's liked.
That's true though. Also because I don't like her that much I can freely browse through her doujins as for the main cast, I like them so much that I can't even sexualize them.
I thought it was shit boring and the fact that nobody would fucking shut up about it for almost two Goddamn years made me hate it. Also, for an anime about a light music club, the OST sucks.
SJ > MPP = Spirit > Sung Tongs > Feels > CHz > Indian = CS > DM
>not liking them enough to sexualize them
I can understand why people wouldn't like her, but she was super cute and the show would have been less without Azusa.
In other words, people who watch popular anime as a chore just to feel like they're part of the in-crowd tend to be cancer. K-on became really popular and so a lot of people watched it as a chore.
You don't watch anime as a chore, you watch what you actually want to see. If people don't want to watch moe shows then they shouldn't; no one's twisting their arm here. Same goes for harem and anything else people commonly complain about. Well >90% of the time it's real fucking obvious what you're getting into when you download a show just by looking over its art/synopsis/characters, I don't know how people keep fucking that up.
k-on! is a steaming pile of shit but I'll have you know the meme originated on /a/.
Too pure and untainted
This disgusting little micro hands.
Fuck hands that are smaller than eyeballs, this was the reason I couldn't watch it.
I think it's moe.
That's a valid point actually. I tend to watch shows of the genres I enjoy so most of the times I really like what I watch. Therefore my average score on for example MAL is quite high, simply because I don't watch shows that I know are not to my tastes. But then you get people who gave first season of k-on like 1 or 2 and then gave 1 to the second season too. I always think to myself: ''Are you fucking retarded? Why would you watch a whole season of something you disliked so much that you gave it a 1 and then go on and watch an even LONGER second season of it?'' You have to be fucking mental to do it, it's like some people actually do hate fun.
Only insecure faggots don't like Kon.
I like watching SoL from time to time, but I couldn't get past episode 4.I guess I'll give it another try someday.
Do people really not understand the purpose of this kind of show? what exactly were they expecting to happen?
they expect another beck
>implying K-ON wouldn't be truly a masterpiece if it was about music
Only if it was about good music, not j-poop.
If someone goes into K-ON! expecting another Beck, that someone is stupid. Completely different anime, Beck was way more enjoyable to me though.
Anon, congratulations on using the word in the correct context
It might just be the first time in a year+ I've seen it used like that
Applause all around
They don't play j-pop
I NEED to cuddle with Mugi.
What do they play?
Nobody be a smartass and say "instruments".
Was you expecting a joke?
But I specifically said don't do that.
Well rock is popular music, but I assume that anon meant j-pop as a sound
But every Houkago piece is a rock song
Despite keiongaku pretty much meaning pop
But rock is pop so this pretty much means nothing
Depends if you want to count j-pop as a style of music or just simply what's popular in Nipland
Ritsu thighs are out of this world.
>be me 2 years ago
>dont understand appeal of girls drinking tea and learning to play instuments
>decide to 3 episode rule
>shelf it for a year
>continue to see threads
>FINE THEN since its still burning 10 gigs on my hdd
>watch 4th - its ok
>watch 5th and 6th and somewhere a beach episode
>no faps only laughs
Its just a good show for making you feel calm, warm, and fuzzy.
>Are there really people who didn't like this?
Kids, manchildrens and closet homos that seek for the bara, but the last seems to be a minority.
