>if 1 is not enough, use 2! If 2 is not enough, use 3!
That is some real big time strategy right there.
I want to see more crazy.
Sun Tzu would be proud.
are you implying it isnt a perfectl valid strategy to simply use more guns when confronted with an enemy?
Dakka strategy is best strategy.
I'm seriously not sure what to think about this show
I feels so up and down for me
I like to OP and then feel bad for liking it
For some reason the OP has a 12yo feeling. Don't ask.
About the rest of the show, I don't like the way they are forcing the yuri romance.
the guitar during that scene was amazing
I like how everything about the shows direction and editing tries to be edgy and artsy but its completely mediocre. Its so bad that the terrible directing is entertaining in itself.
At the time, it was actually pretty radical. But that was hundreds of years ago.
yes yes, we're perfectly aware its generic and edgy and mediocre in animation and writing
but goddamn is it fun
I enjoyed this show more than I thought I would.
Of course, it's going to be phenomenally retarded, but whatever.
I just pray that it doesn't overlap cast names too much with Nobunaga the fool
I want nobunaga inner strategy sessions every episode
> 16th century
>pretty radical to think that obvious shit
We had better strategies before jesus was born.
the only character shared between the shows in nobunaga himself
>forcing the yuri romance.
How long until the author gets sued for using Raiden's design for Jack?
That is NOT correct! We had Mitsuhide appearing for about 2 seconds in the start of the first episode.
What do you mean by "better"? I'm pretty sure "shoot loads of bullets at them" would beat pretty much any pre-Jesus tactics.
Opening song is ok, the animation is boring and uninspired. However, there are a number of things that feel like absolutely garbage, like the girls uniform using pants, Newton's shitty design (that's a model, seriously?), the armor's fucking ugly design and the :3 girl are just some of them.
>the way they are forcing the yuri romance
Sadly, MC hooks up with Jack.
Any Caesar or Alexandre would have thought of something better than "2 is better than 1. And 3 is better than 2!"
>if 1 is not enough, use 2! If 2 is not enough, use 3!
Oi, dis nob-nogger gots da right idea.
I thought the Nobunaga method was having 3 lines but only 1 shoots, second one shots while 1 reloads, third one shoots while 1 and 2 reload, 1 shoots while 2 and 3 reload, etc.
Someone needs to shout this at her in the final episode.
the line is a drastic oversimplification/re-purposing of what was at the time an amazing tactic
>Powerful ranged weapon, countered by longass reload times
>stick 2 lines of the weapon, so the second can shoot while the first reloads
>still not enough firepower, implement 3 alternating lines to guarantee unending fire
the reason 'no commander ever though of it before" is not because no one thought of utilizing multiple lines of ranged weapons, but because no one (in japan at least) thought using ranged weapons in a major capacity was a good idea at all
in fact, most commanders throughout the world up til then considered ranged weaponry such as bows and crossbows as, at most, a skirmishing/delyaing/harrasing tactic
and before anyone goes MUH LONGBOWS, even the brits used longbows as a harraser, NOT as a primary battle tactic
nobunaga was the first to realize that ranged weapons were the future when he saw the power of the musket
Jesus, you're boring. Fuck off.
>Of course, it's going to be phenomenally retarded, but whatever.
Just like the cartoons we used to watch on saturdays morning. We are all victims of nostalgia, and I, for one, am fine with that.
>nobunaga was the first
Define first. First in the excluded island of monkeys called japan? Sure. First in the world? No way.
Some one said Nobunaga and some other dude came with the same ideas at totally opposite sides of the world at roughly the same age.
but they didn't. Your westabo is showing. The value of a tactic is in it's efficacy at accomplishing your objectives, not in some arbitrary shit like a 'tactical advantage value'.
what's more, there was no reason the romans and greeks couldn't do the same thing with crossbows
What? Alternate lines of shooting and reloading? Persians were doing this for centuries.
the europeons were using aquebuses as one-shot harassers when nobunaga (in the 1600s) was forming the basis of what would eventually become the standard musket firing formation during the 18th century
and anyway, multiple line alternation fire is uselss with bows since the RoF on a bow is worlds faster than a musket anyway
>implying they weren't members of the iluminati and shared knowledge
What's the point of your greentext, exactly? Did you not know that both the romans and greeks had access to crossbows? Or am I missing something?
also that anon isn't quite correct, what nobunaga did that was revolutionary was make rifles a mainstream tactic of his army, instead of forcing them to a simple skirmishing role
THAT was what was so fucking amazing at the time
the greek did not at all
the romans had ballistae certainly, but not hand-held crossbows
I like you.
I'm not spoonfeeding. Google it if you want.
Can't we all agree that Oda destroyed japan? Mitsuhide was the true hero who sacrificed himself for his nation.
Providing evidence for your argument isn't spoonfeeding.
STANDING HERE, I REALIZE
Wait, you have access to google, right?
I quite like the show so far, but only because the actions scenes are pretty entertaining.
NO RESPECT FOR THE DEAD MAN
>but because no one (in japan at least) thought using ranged weapons in a major capacity was a good idea at all
What? Fucking samurai were all archers.
I like it
till at the end of Ep 2 when MC and Asao were in the hospital. and she started breaking down, say she couldn't save Asao and other angsty shit because ONE alien fish survive. ONE !
kid's depressed as fuck.
I dont know why i like nobunagun, despite some flaws
is just crazy fun
got the same feeling with kill la kill
Asao actually died in that explosion, so I've heard in a previous thread.
I knew this show was low budget, but god damn, worst OP ever.
I'll fite u m8 i sware on me mum
You see at the time the 3 line volley was revolutionary. Nobunaga gained control of the two places Japan made firearms. No one until that point thought "maybe I should have every other guy fire at the same time". He did that. Then thought "let's add another line of guns". He was the first man in Japan to use continuos fire. Traded with Europeans for plate armor. All sorts of stuff. He was the type of guy who could see an advantage in anything and exploit it.
To add to that, Samurai were goddamn HORSE archers.
>what nobunaga did that was revolutionary was make rifles a mainstream tactic of his army, instead of forcing them to a simple skirmishing role
Why did you say this? This info is available through google. Fucking spoonfeeder
This show is just ridiculously silly.
Definitely picked the fuck up, I'm buckled up for this wacky ride.
Which was a harrassing tactic using shortbows nowhere near maximum range.
You had me up until
>Nobunaga was the first
tell that to Monggols
Shingen never knew what hit him
I haven't felt this way about a FeMC since Hibiki Tachibana.
I want to fuck, cuddle, and brofist her. All at the same time.
It is believable though somewhat. I doubt there would be many kids who wouldn't act like that or somewhat similar to it
She's autistic and has no self-esteem.
Oh good there's a thread already.
Just elaborating on another anon's work. Now with twice the lewd!
This is what we need to tide us over until S3.
The mongols used a thumb ring to draw the bow which gave them better control and they basically lived on horses. They would travel in groups of 3 so when one needed to sleep two could run alongside and keep his horse going while making sure he didn't fall off. Their whole thing was conquering on horseback. Nobunaga conquered by foot.
>crazy ass Nobunaga
>cliche but traditional plot
What's not to like? Better than yet another idol series, no offense to people that like them.
Simple strategies have less that can go wrong.
