Inori Love Thread?
Inori Love Thread.
WHY NO LOVE FOR INORI?
Why does Gai make her dress that way? She's looks pretty slutty with that and it looks unprofessional on her due to the fact that she is a terrorist.
She's also masquerading as a Pop Star too, hence the slutty outfits. Why she keeps it on outside of performances is beyond me (Maybe she thinks its comfortable). Also she does dress accordingly (at school, during winter, etc)
Is Mashiro or Inori the bigger slut?
Because everything makes her whore.
Why couldn't Shoe die instead of her? Why is the writing for this show so fucking awful?
Mana tried raping Shu (using Inori's body), hence Inori is a slut
Writing for ending of show was pretty bad, and I understand how ending is paramount in how it is portrayed, but you gotta admit, the show was still pretty good.
>you gotta admit, the show was still pretty good.
It sucked buddy. I guess you weren't here while it was airing, to see how much we all derided it.
Still obvious how much of /a/ hates it. Its deridden whenever I see it mentioned. Still no love for Inori
>Mana tried raping Shu.
Don't see a problem with that.
>but you gotta admit, the show was still pretty good.
A lot of the casts members were insufferable to me, i.e. Yahiro, that dumb-shit Soda, Gai, and fucking Arisa. I haven't hated a character as much as Arisa. The whole Hitler arc made me rage beyond possibility.
SO ERYSING THAT MAKES ME WHORE
I see what you did there
Hare. Hare was cool though :(
I thought the Hitler arc was hilarious.
She's so cute in the Guilty Crown specials. I wish all of them were uploaded/subbed.
It was Shu's fault she turned on him. Her grandfather was fucking incompetent too.
>Send some C-list terrorist to extract his daughter.
>It was Shu's fault she turned on him.
There was that too. I had no idea who to be pissed at during the whole Hitler arc.
I find it hilarious that nobody, absolutely fucking nobody seems to remember what happened to Arisa other than her sleeping with that guy (who, by the way, was pulling the wool over Shu's eyes and abusing Shu's friends the entire fucking time). While I like Shu a lot, he treated her pretty badly and she had no reason to be loyal to him.
Did she die after Shu beat Mana, therefore ridding Arisa of her Void?
>I remember her getting shot after her void disappeared
It's like he forgot when that guy's gang kidnapped Tsugumi and Ayase.
>I'll just have these would be rapists guard my female political hostages.
I refuse to give love to the most vapid, unintelligent, and undeveloped character in anime history.
albeit well designed
I was pissed at the fucker who ultimately caused Hare to DIE
>albeit well designed
Guilty Crown had a greats amount of designs, great effects and a God-tier OST, it was just put in the wrong hands in terms of writing and director.
She didn't die.
What I mean by everybody seemingly forgetting all the shit that happened to Arisa is that nobody brings up the following:
- Shu never once tried to defend her when people were treating her like shit during the 2-week mark of the quarantine. He pretty much stood idly by while people trashed her for doing her best in a situation where nearly everything was out of her hands. Keep in mind that she'd used her influence as the student council president to help him out when he was getting harassed after being arrested by GHQ in the beginning of the show, so he really owed it to her to try and defend her against people attacking her character.
- While this is isn't entirely his fault, he kind of ended up stealing her position out from under her and not even apologizing for what happened or anything. The whole re-election was founded on a smear campaign against her and he just went along with it.
- As >>100206136 said, Shu seriously arranged for a guy with a reputation for sexual assault and bullying to guard her room when he was nervous about his political hostage getting away from him.
- While it's not his fault that Inori attacked Arisa, he did nothing to apologize to her or make sure she was okay (or to punish Inori, but that was Mana's fault in the first place).
- Plus the whole thing where he used her Void repeatedly as a tool without ever acknowledging the person it came from.
Now, the first two are untrue and reek of tumblr feminist.
Season 2 when
She wasn't vapid or unintelligent, just soft-spoken and, well, 7 years old. She actually was incredibly observant.
Guilty Crown may have been shit, but at least we got EGOIST out of it.
I'd would rather have a Lost Christmas series that isn't fifteen minutes.
His flaws were immense. I personally think that shows that he was still insecure and did not want to be in his position.
>After every event he would go back into his little garden room and confess to Inori that he knew he was being a bad person.
Personally if Hare doesn't die, I don't see him turning into this at all, which ultimately throws the whole plot outta wack
The Everlasting Guilty Crown will be an everlasting memory due to its sheer amazingness. Seriously one of my fav openings.
I thought Tsugumi was the one who made Funnel... Why was she surprised at it having a bath mode?
Fuck you Soda
THAT WAS HIS NAME
He truly was a deeply flawed, insecure person. That thing about him returning to the indoor garden to tell Inori about how he knows he's being a bad person was one of my favorite things. Not only did it serve as a neat mirror to Gai's inner conflict, but it was an effective means of showing just how exhausted and anxious and small he felt underneath it all.
Oh, and I thought the whole inner garden thing was a great way of displaying one of Shu's subtler traits: his love/sensitivity for beautiful places and sceneries. There was a lot to him that I think is easy to miss if you've only watched the series once, especially if it was during its airtime.
Overall, I think the show as a whole had exceptional plot development, even for Inori. Her realization of love for Shu and doing what needed to be done to save him.
The only true bad side of the show was its ending IMO.
Was GC a commercial success?
>The only true bad side of the show was its ending IMO
You forgot that stupid D'aath shit.
>but it was so insignificant to me
It sold decently well, but suffered in the second half I think.
All these posts and no shoe joke?
>He pretty much stood idly by while people trashed her for doing her best in a situation where nearly everything was out of her hands.
Her leadership was weak and she deserved what she got
I was talking about this but I didn't want to bother to find the picture.
She also killed her own grandfather.
I think. I forgot most of this show.
OP here. Thanks for the Inori love.
Not like anyone else did better. Shu had a cabinet full of help and he still fucked things up.
He never heard her out and he came at her with a katana and got shot reflexively. Let that last part soak in:
A japanese character with a katana, in an anime, in a medium where you should never ever bring a gun to a katanafight, lost to someone with a gun. He is literally the shittiest grandfather in anime and it was her right to shoot him.
Shu kept them under control and got them out of the encirclement
GHQ showed up at the end of the escape and people remained in the slums afterward, so I'm not sure that they did get out.
>but you gotta admit, the show was still pretty good.
No, it was shit. The only good thing to come from GC is Hare.
Got any good rape/NTR doujins featuring this slut?
>Her leadership was weak and she deserved what she got
What do you suggest she should have done? What would you have done in her place?
He came at her with a sword. Was she supposed to just stand there?
Anything. Her entire governing strategy was "let's wait for things to get worse"
So basically you have no viable idea on how to improve her leadership yet you still feel qualified to criticize her? Good thing you're a nobody.
>What would you have done in her place?
Probably have sent Shoe on some suicide mission.
>"let's wait for things to get worse"
This was Shu's plan too, since he could have breached the walls with the voids of his core buddies. His training and austerity programs really did fuck all.
That is a fucking horrible idea.
She lost the support of the people yet she refused to adjust her policy. I don't have to know what is right to know what is wrong.
Because of the traitors fucking shu over and Gai being Gai. They had no clue what would happen once they breached the walls
So is taking Guilty Crown seriously.
Except that's pretty much what he did during their plan ( which consisted of HURR LET'S HAVE EVERYONE RUN STRAIGHT INTO THE ENEMY ).
Not a bad idea. I think having a spine and balls implanted in Shoe would have also been a good idea.
>She lost the support of the people yet she refused to adjust her policy.
But what was she to do, you bumbling retard? While she was still the student council president, there were no means of outside communication. No internet, no television, no phonecalls, nothing. There were still enough supplies at the time for everybody to eat, drink, and get vaccinated, and the only thing anybody knew was that the blockade would lift "soon". The entire thing was nothing but a waiting game, there wasn't a single other thing she realistically could have done.
>Except that's pretty much what he did during their plan
No it isn't? The original plan was to have everyone clear a path for Shu so that he could make it to Tokyo Tower and overload the system supplying electricity to the Ghost units. It wasn't "send Shoe on a suicide mission", it's just that he ended up soloing the enemy when he realized this whole EVERYBODY CHARGE plan wasn't exactly working.
Shu's own actions led to his betrayal. Besides, all he needed was to find an isolated spot, use Soda's void to make an opening and funnel everybody out. All that time he spent fucking around playing shurher he could have gotten everyone free with no backstabs.
>it's just that he ended up soloing the enemy
That's what I said.
exactly what i was thinking
Speaking of Soda's void, I really don't get why he was in F-rank. Having a void that can open any entrance would be useful as fuck in a situation where people are being sent on looting/salvaging missions regularly.
The most he could do was open cans. Only Shoe could do crazy things like open any door.
In that case, is it safe to assume the genomic resonance gauge tests the effectiveness of the void when utilized by its owner? Because that's the only way I can see Soda's ranking so low.
I don't think we even saw him try to open anything else
Are you guys ready for Inorifu Mk II?
As I said, anything. Parts of the school were ready to tear itself apart and she just stood there, weak and unwilling to offer the peaceful students a flag to rally around. Shu dominated the election entirely on the platform of "GHQ is evil, I can do something other than sit on my hands". Arisa had charisma and respect that Shu could never have and yet she did nothing
>implying hare wasnt the best girl
>implying her death wasnt way more significant to shoe
>implying she was ever even real
>implying the ending was even good
>implying the OP didnt make me feel like a pathetic loser when inori would say im yours
The only thing that Arisa was really lacking was power. If Shu had offered support with his void powers then she probably could have managed things better than him. Even if Shu had won the election but confided in Arisa and the rest of the nonrapists, the escape would have gone exponentially better.
But Inori is yours.
Thats why you should love her
If soda wasnt a bumbling idiot or the power level meter didnt fuck up when measuring his, everything would have been fine.
Shes an emotionless avatar for a psycho bitch. Hare was better and you know it.
then Hare wouldn't have died :(
She was similar to Rei from NGE but she did develop and yes, Hare's death made me significantly more sad than Inori's death but still
Inori was somewhat calculating and disaffected but she was way more expressive and active than Rei.
Exactly, then shoe wouldnt have become depressed and cold towards everyone. Although you might say the school would not have become organized enough to have a chance to escape but I think eventually most of the stuff would be forced to happen out of necessity and people would know shoe was doing it out of necessity and that he didnt want it. Also hare would basically make the vaccines useless with her void and shit would have gone a lot smoother with no one worrying about that. And also know one would know about voids killing people when broken so that wouldnt have fucked shoe over when they eventually would have found out because he really wouldnt have known. Im kind of rambling here because im just typing my thoughts as they come but you get the point.
But for the plot to continue the downward spiral I believe it was trying to achieve, Hare's death was necessary. :(
I feel the same :(
Exactly, which is why I don't know why she is hated by so many
>Also hare would basically make the vaccines useless with her void
Which reminds me that Inori could cure crystal AIDS through singing...
It might have been better for the story, but it was worse for the characters. Inoris death on the other hand was good for everyone but was just shit for the story. Ending was bad.
Stop that. This isn't Gaia.
Which makes her even worse because she never even used that at all in the school. Seriously the fuck.
She did sing it once at the concert, but it didn't do anything. I believe it was because when the song did cure everyone, it was because it was hooked to that GHQ instrument that caused the crystals to appear in the first place.
BTW, did anyone else get creeped out by Mana's song? Ya know, the simple hum that caused the crystals to form? Shit was creepy
Why couldn't Shoe save her?
BECAUSE SHE DIED SAVING SNEAKER :(
Because she gave her life to protect shoe, there was nothing shoe could do. Seriously fuck soda.
Yeah that fucking hum was creepy as shit but for someone reason it felt familiar but idk why. Was the same sound used in a vidya or something because when I watched it was so familiar.
Is Shoe a pure maiden?
He had his first non-incest kissu while asleep, that's about as pure as it gets.
You got to admit... she is a hot slut. You'd bone her. Don't deny it.
I'd take that pure and innocent maiden without hesitation. How Shoe kept his hands off of her is completely confusing.
That's because Shu is the purest maiden.
Shoe is the dapperest Guilty Crown, discuss
How did this >>100220068 became this >>100219946 ...It still doesn't make sense to me why...Hare's death wasn't needed for the show and even when she died Shu didn't really have to go full Hitler. More order? Yes, but not in the way it happened. And making him blind at the end of the show made no fucking sense, as if losing an arm and someone he loved wasn't enough. And what happened to his mom? And to the crazy guy that piloted that thing that I refuse to call Gespenst?
her dying was just cruel. Also fuck Soda.
he lost his innocence with his arm anon
the creators set out in squeezing the maximum amount of feels they possibly could with that horrid ending
it's funny how all three of these guys tried to rip each others throats out. Never did get proper closure with Daryl either.
I like how Gai tried to piss Shoe off that one time by insinuating that he fucked Inori all because he was still fucking butthurt about Mana not choosing him as Adam.
Did they ever explain why Shoe's face wouldn't show up on Daryl's monitor in the Endlave? Did they ever go anywhere with that at all?
there are more loose ends in this show than episodes. Daryl has so many of them it's not funny. They didn't even need him as a character in the show since they never gave him any characterization besides his birthday party.
>wanting closure for a villian with minuscule screentime and development
hahaha oh wow, faggots. oh wow
I feel like Segai was really the only GHQ guy that they did good things with. Granted Segai was much better in Lost Christmas, but still.
For instance, what the fuck was with their presentation of Keido? Even though he was there a good chunk of the time, it felt like he was barely ever a presence in the show. I only realized that he was technically the main antagonist on my second watch. He was just such a non-entity that the entire Keido-Kurosu/Gai-Shoe parallel took a backseat to everything, even when it had the potential to be one of the most interesting elements of the show. If Keido had been handled better, I feel like GC would be an entirely different series altogether.
I always thought people hate it because they love Code Geass and that only one could exists. CG vs GC.
>I always thought people hate it because they love Code Geass and that only one could exists.
It's more like I enjoyed CG but was very disappointed by GC, starting from the main character and his waifu, going all the way to the Mana/crystal apocalypse stuff.
If Shoe is supposed to symbolize Jesus, is Mana supposed to be Lucifer?
Her crystalization still makes me sad
I would a Inori.
I understand the love either for Inori or Hare. I absolutely do not know why in the hell people like Ayase or Tsugumi unless it's about fetishes.
