shit. this makes me think the whole sub i watched is a lie

Both are interpretive, but the first is more literal. The lyrics are saying "boy, become a legend", but that's stale in English.

Nah, >>100202245 is just more literal.

>Like an angel without a sense of mercy,
>Rise young boy to the heavens as a legend.
>So, boy, stand tall and embrace the fire of legend,
>Embrace the universe like a blazing star!

>Like a cruel angel,
>young boy, become the legend!
>Embracing this sky and shining,
>young boy, become the legend!

Literal translations are bad. You will get different translations for complex sentences from different translators; it's a consequence of their translation style. This especially holds true for languages that don't have a common ancestral root (like how latin based languages generally have an easier time being literally translated but chinese to german makes no sense literally).
