Is Haruhiism dead?
>>
>>100193402
Yes. Good times can't last forever. The lack of a third season killed Haruhiism. Even if it did come back, it wouldn't be as big as it was before
>>
The fact that the thread is already dying proves it.
>>
Not as dead as Lainism.

Endless Eight proved she wasn't a god worth worshipping.
>>
>>100193665
We still have Lain threads from time to time, and the fanbase does consider her a honorary goddess and worships her as such. Haruhifans are all about
>my waifu
>in which order should I watch it?
>>
Yeah, I think Endless Eight and the lack of a third season just killed the fandom.
The movie helped a lot, but KyoAni didn't do anything else.

But in the end, Haruhi still won the MTV God Awards, since Kanye West had to tell her that.

I'd say that it's dying
>>
>>100193803
Yeah, that's exactly right. Haruhi thread were funnier back in the days. Now it's all about fapping on Haruhi or the order.
>>100193880
Endless Eight probably didn't kill Haruhi. The threads were still fun at the time. It's only recently, one or two years after the movie that Haruhiism started to die slowly.
>>
Aya killed Haruhi.
>>
>>100193880
I honestly think KyoAni picked up Haruhi just so that they could adapt Disappearance, and everything else they did was just buildup to that.

And I mean it shows. I don't think I've ever seen someone do a better job adapting something to film than KyoAni did with Disappearance. They adapted it perfectly, they obviously cared about it, and I'm starting to think that that was the goal all along. We aren't going to get a season 3, their mission is already accomplished.
>>
why is there no atheist anime that actually shows some facts on live

It needs a wake-up call.
You know. Season 3 with marketing.
If they announce it at the end of that Yuki spin-off my dick will be diamonds.

>>100193700
Bitch, please. Haruhi makes the world better, at least. And not with her powers, only with her talking and stupid ideas. Madoka went full suicide, made the world a little bit better with her power (I KILL ALL WITCH) and needed a Homura to make the world really better.
>>
>>100194084
Her actions probably contributed to Haruhiism's death.
>>
>>100194071
fapping to Haruhi*
>>
SEASON 3 FUCKING WHEN
>>
>>100194113
I think KyoAni did Haruhi to do Haruhi, but the decision to do "season 2" was entirely for the build-up of the movie.
>>
Seriously guys, I miss Haruhi so much. I miss the Haruhi threads. I miss 2006. I miss Haruhiism. I miss Kyonkofags. I miss 2009. I miss overflowing Endless Eight threads. I miss watching that masterpiece of a movie for the first time. I miss the SOS団. I miss its awesome realisation and characters. I miss everything about it,
>>
>>100194285
Pretty much. Endless Eight is showing how Yuki is bored. Bamboo rhapsody explains the whole time travel stuff. Sigh (movie arc) shows the tension between Mikuru/Koizumi/Nagato's factions and shows us a bitchy Haruhi.
At this point, I was wondering if Kyon really didn't like hanging out with her, since she acted like a bitch during sigh and stuff.
And then the movie came out and we had lovely Haruhi all over the place, and Kyon admitting he loves the shit out of the SOS Brigade. Brillant.
>>
Will Yuki-chan resurrect the franchise?
>>
>>100194599
If it fares like the Lucky Star Spinoff, then not.
>>
>>100194599
Yes. All we have to do is believe.

I'm behind, what did she do?
>>

That's an understatement.

I think a lot of people converted to a new, much more sexy, religion.

Uh? That's not even credible anymore. No one likes Yuno.
>>
>>100195918

so the fucking novelist became another Togashi, so, no more Haruhi
>>
>>100196084
Yes. We'll all die before it ends.
>>
>>100195729
You fool. Even now, Haruhiism is still bigger than your religion that promotes homosexuality.
>>
>>100196137

Or the novelist, maybe our grandchildren (implying), would read the last book written by Tanigawa's grandchildren.
>>
>>100196315
Haruhiism is about happiness, friendship and opening to other people. And also raping time travelers lolitas.
Madokamisme is about fucking time travellers lolitas.
>>
What's with the recent influx of Haruhi threads?
>>
>>100196375
>Madokamisme is about fucking time travellers lolitas.
It's more like being raped by them.

>>100196379
Yuki-chan adaptation.
>>
>>100196379
Just some people behind the scenes. I'm not even kidding.
>>
>>100196379

Might have something to do with that off-shoot anime they announced.
>>
I never understood why Haruhiism existed or why specifically K-ON and Lucky Star were so well liked by normals.
Was it just because Hare Hare Yukai and the Lucky Star OP trended on NND and thus youtube?

And even the age of KyoAni came to an end; probably no normals have heard of Chuu2 or Tamako Market or even Hyouka.
What was it about KyoAni that made it peak in popularity from 2006-2009?
>>
>>100194488
I do too.
I didn't actually watch Haruhi until about 2010, so I missed out on a lot, but I still don't want to drop it. There's a lot to discuss.

Speaking of which, did the LNs progess past volume 10?
