I got to be honest with you. Revolutions? I'm sick of it. Dropped right the fuck up. I don't care about your opinions. This is mine. Don't touch. Ridicule however you want.
>I got to be honest with you. Revolutions? I'm sick of it. Dropped right the fuck up. I don't care about your opinions. This is mine. Don't touch. Ridicule however you want.
I won't ridicule you. I will however strongly disagree and virtually stick my tongue out from thousands of kilometers away.
I don't blame you. Geass is good, but it's also really shit at times. And if you don't want to see revolutionaries, then you'd definitely hate it.
>Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
Aside from the ridiculous bits, I found the rest of the anime to feel really warm, and welcoming.
The fifth item in my backlog is the second Akito OVA, so... yeah. I'll just pick up EVOL instead, since that popped out at me.
non non biyori
let me get my dick out
I don't have a written backlog
>serial experiments lain
I have like 5 episodes left but I seriously have no idea whats going on
>guy stumbles across main girl in the hot springs
>she puts her gun down and smiles
I like this already.
Don't have an ordered list so I'll go with Gatchaman Crowds after work.
this is weird
it's creeping me out
i don't understand what's going on
but i want to keep watching.
I wish I was so organized that I had everything I intended to watch planned in advance.
>Day Break Illusions
Lolis doing loli things but cooler it seems.
I wonder if [C] is terrible
You can't tell me to watch anything.
I tried to watch everything this season, and went into burnout before completing all the first episodes.
>I don't blame you. Geass is good, but it's also really shit at times. And if you don't want to see revolutionaries, then you'd definitely hate it.
He's saying that one episode in, so the reaction seems overly jumpy
It's been on indefinite hiatus for a while, 9 episodes in. It's not bad by any reasons, I just never really feel like getting back to it.
I put Bakemonogatari on hold because the first time I watched it, years ago, I thought it was visually pleasing, and wanted to have a decent level in Jap as well as knowledgeable in folktales.
After watching the first episode
>Much style and some substance
>MC seems kinda cool
>Shinobu is beautiful
I know I'll like this but it gets back to the backlog, not ready for it yet.
it is, but there's a lot of terrible anime out there. So I'd call it average.
It was not as bad as people address it to be, somewhat fun
You should get organized, anon.
The show seemed very "Meh" to me. It didn't help that it aired with placeholders for a lot of segments because they hadn't animated them yet (At least I think that's what those things were. If it was some sort of weird artistic decision then it was stupid). I have no idea if the BDs ever included them or not.
Man, I love Lucky Star, but I'm suprised you watched the first episode and came back saying anything other than "wow this shit is really boring"
best fucking morale at least.
Literally worse than Hitler.
Why did you have it in you backlog in the first place anyway?
Hope that's the series and not the movies.
I don't have an organized list so I just picked on of the things I have downloaded but haven't watched yet. So I just watched the first episode of Tamako Market. What's with all the hate this show gets? It reminds me a lot of K-on. It's cute as fuck. I can see that bird getting annoying and the random laser eyes projection screen shit at the end kind of freaked me out, but overall I liked it. It's adorable and I don't know why anyone would think otherwise. I guess people hating on it just don't like cute SoL?
EVOL is taking forever to torrent. Maybe I should've looked for a DDL.
it's the series
Meh, there are worst things out there. At least it has an interesting premise.
>Castle of Cogliostro
You can pretty much never go wrong with Lupin. That series is fucking awesome.
It has shitty cgi but it's half decent
Probably Nakamura's worst anime but that shouldn't put you off
The finale is utter shit. So much it ruins what it was an otherwise enjoyable ride and makes you want your time back.
And I'm not even a shipperfag.
>I guess people hating on it just don't like cute SoL?
Anyone outright hating on it is probably just trying to start fanbase wars, or just generally shitpost. It's not terrible in the least.
That said, it it really did have some issues, and overall I found it kind of unsatisfying and pretty much forgettable. Cozy, though.
The OP sold me, and I really liked the soft chat. It's a nice change from the usual constant action/content-packaged shit I usually see.
Currently I only have 3 items in my backlog, doushio?
add 2 more things to it
The fifth option would wrap around to the second. Or you could add two more.
Flip a coin, then watch the third one.
Flip a 3 sided coin
What should I expect?
So basically what you're saying is, you haven't had a chance to develop any taste in SoLs? There are way better ones than LS.
Can I get your worksheet in txt?
Yuno does things to my dick that I don't fully understand.
should i watch ben-to
ive had it on my hard drive since forever and havent touched it
Not bad, downloaded it on a whim after seeing someone post something about it here and it looked interesting. Though it'll probably be a while before I get to it.
But nothing KyoAni's; I watched K-ON! and hated it. The fact that it was not really about music hurt me.
It's a good choice I like some music from it...
K-On was terrible.
But 2013 alone had GJ-bu, Minami-ke, Tamayura, Yuyushiki, and NNB, various flavours of SoL that are all worth a try if you're looking for more.
Is it the fifth thing in your backlog? If so, then yes. If not, then go watch the fifth thing.
Of course you hated it K-on is the most boring SOL ever made
Man, but it seems so boring and the fact that there's no BD release of the first season really turns me off.
There is one anime, I liked it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKaRusrl-XU
Try out Natsume Yuujincho. It's like an action slice of life that doesn't take the action seriously at all because the guy doing all the action just wants to be friends.
He probably can't count to 5.
Stop! Don't be a fag!
I have tried to watch Kaiji like four times. It's not even bad, I just can't fucking finish it for whatever reason and then a year goes by and I forget everything that happened.
Well KONYA WA HURRICANE. ANATA NI HURRICANCE, TSUTAETAI NO LOVING YOU
Does it have to be the 5th?
I mean it's between Chobits and Blue Submarine No. 6
I don't have an organized backlog, I just remember what I have watched/read and haven't but want to.
How is that even possible?
Chobits, easy choice
Well they both start with "a" and I have no b's in my backlog
Okay, can someone tell me how to get organized in anime? WTF is with excel sheets? You just start from scratch or use template
You don't have to use Excel if you don't want to. There's MyAnimeList or AniDB as well. Some people just use Excel because they know how to use it, and it's very flexible under those circumstances.
It's not fucking rocket science, just write down a list. Or use MAL if you're really that lazy.
Please lurk more.
I use MAL as a check list and use /a/ to complain about anime
I do believe that's how you're meant to do it
I'm not a neckbeard, sorry. No anime and/or manga is in my possession.
Then what the fuck are you doing on /a/?
I think I was drooling a little.
This doesn't seem too interesting. I would lick whipped cream off her stomach though.
Use MAL or excel
it's really not hard
Just write it down in a text file.
Yepp, will use MAL to for basic order, I'm that lazy... and maybe put some sort of list in excel... It would at least clarify how many a/ have I watched...
Anime-original ending warning.
Stop that as well.
Just stop posting.
>Not dying after getting killed
It's like I'm watching Shirou: The Anime
I watched the 2nd.
>Ayakashi - Bakeneko
The art is different than usual but nice, I'll still need more time to get used to that paper texture overlay. As for the plot, it has been interesting so far, I'm quite intrigued about the medicine seller, the truth of the ghost cat and what the old man is hiding.
Liking the music, liking the food and mood, don't like the josei artstyle
It's good. Embrace the glasses.
After you're done with Ayakashi watch Mononoke.
>Everyone uses glasses
I ain't gonna watch all 800 episodes.
The OP only told you to watch the first episode.
N-No he didn't, he told us to watch the first item in your backlog but you're only required to post what you think of the first episode.
It says to begin watching the fifth item in your backlog and post about the first episode. You can watch however much of it you want. So long as you begin watching it and post about the first episode. This isn't difficult.
what back log?
So you can honestly say that you have watched all of the anime that interests you?
that i've found? yes. yes i can. took me a good number of years, too. now i just watch a couple of shows a season so now nothing backs up
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
I'll be right back, I'm gonna watch more Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Also this probably has no joke one of the best OPs of all time.
There is no way that's possible. You'd have to watch something like 600+ series to reach that point.
and yet here i am.
>Sailor Moon Super S
Haven't gotten far enough to tell anything yet, but the focus on chibiusa can't be a good sign.
Breaking Bad? It was okay.
This is /a/. If you've got Breaking Bad in your anime backlog, you're doing it wrong.
I have a backlog composed of 90% anime. It just happened that the fifth one isn't anime.
>not conglomerating your whole backlog into a mega backlog that can be organized by completion, name, air date, and more
How do you organize that? All I have are a bunch of folders and a vague idea of "this is taking up a large space on my hard drive; I'll watch it next"
I can't OP, it's all in my brain. By the time I commit it all to Libreoffice Spreedsheets I'll forget half of it.
That seems like too much effort for something like this? Why not spend the time you'd be organizing it watching it instead?
Then again, why not spend the time you'd spend on /a/ watching anime instead? /a/ is easy to pick up and put down at a moment's notice, and watching something needs a mood and getting settled in for it. Why not read manga then? Got me there.
doesn't really take that much time at all just add to it when you find something you want to watch and come back to it later
Or if you are lazy like a lot of /a/, just use Taiga.
But you have to make it in the first place, and as it stands, I have 130 something anime (and others) downloaded, and I don't want to take the time to put all of those in a spreadsheet, considering how haphazard the folder system is now.
What about for nonanime? This whole reply chain started at me having Breaking Bad in there.
In that case I agree with the other anon, spreadsheets. Color code them based on type and sort by year/season. Put in the 2 hours or so and save yourself a LOT of time down the road.
>save yourself a LOT of time down the road
What would I waste the time on if I don't do this?
Pick Shigofumi back up. The real ride hasn't started at 2 episodes.
Prioritizing what you want to watch. If you are just watching random things then go ahead, but I tend to want specific genres depending on mood. Also it helps you find out what types of things are actually on the backlog in the first place, so you have a better idea of when to add something to your backlog.
>Complaining about whether it is worth wasting time while on /a/ discussing about time wasting.
>>Complaining about whether it is worth wasting time while on /a/ discussing about time wasting.
it really isn't that hard dude. you're just fucking lazy
It was stupid, but it was still "fun"
It's the fetish appeal of the restaurant. Good for drawing in ara ara
Why would there be an order to my backlog, it's just the shit I haven't watched but want to. Don't tell me you autists actually make lists.
First episode was pretty entertaining.
Can i expect it to keep the standard, or will it turn shit? 'Cause i downloaded the entire collection.
Slayers is good, Slayers Next is great, Slayers Try is good but not as good as Slayers or Next, most of the OVAs are good, Revolution and Evolution-R are not very good.
>what is alphabetical order
>what is sort by date
Why would I have a list?
Because that's what a fucking backlog IS, you dense, argumentative shit.
Nope. I need to finish Tsukihime before I do that.
>High School DxD New
Welp, I haven't even started with DxD.
You can watch the first episode without having finished Tsukihime. The first episode is all FSN and it's fucking golden
Plus, it has the best OP of anything ever.
Moe as fuck, I wonder if this gets more gay.
