/a/, what the FUCK
You think it's an angry child? because I think it's angry.
Spoiler: Poor Maria and Mamoru ;_;
Better watch until the end and come back anon, you dont want to be spoiled.
Seriously, Squealer is a fucking dick
I don't give a shit about "oppression" of the queer-rats
>Seriously, Squealer is a fucking dick
Roasted mincemeat actually.
Maria best girl
I sympathize with Squealer, but he's a giant cunt and I think he deserved his punishment. Death was too good
>We need grain to hide all the QUALITY
The animation got SO BAD in some parts, they almost looked half retarded
But it didn't stop me from caring about the characters, which is what makes the second half of the show so engaging.
How do you feel about how squealer lobotomized Mamoru and Maria as soon as he had them, then made them fuck just long enough for Maria to give birth before murdering them?
I can't believe people actually believe that happened.
Maria was already pregnant when they left the village. I don't know if they included it in the anime because I ended up dropping it at some point, but it's made clear in the book.
It's honestly fucking hard to care about anyone who's not Squealer.
>implying the Queens were not foreshadowing
Watching this show has probably taken a year off my lifespan, it was so stressful
Shippers watching Okada shows probably have it worse.
The entire show was creepy from start to finish.
Also, I didn't miss Maria until she was dead. ;_;
I liked it all throughout, I thought the blatant gayness was done well, as in it was visible but not shoved in your face as a gimmick; I thought the disposing of children was creepy but obviously necessary in the towns' leaders' eyes, considering what happened when they let two citizens go rouge.
I like the image of them fucking in caves after.
>I thought the blatant gayness was done well
Yeah, that stood out to me. It was there, but it wasn't the usual "here comes the obligatory homo" stuff, I just looked at it and stuff starting clicking because for once it was actually part of the plot.
They went on their own against the town's wishes, technically from the town leaders' perspectives, that's going rouge.
Why the fuck would he do that. Lobotomizing the queens clearly made them lose bodily functions. They probably left Mamoru and Maria alone until their child was born, at which point they killed them with poison darts or something.
At first I thought it WAS Maria, and it made me so angry my stomach became upset. Squealer almost reached the Griffith-tier of hate.
What happened to Maria is far worse.
Creepy ass show.
>Lobotomizing the queens clearly made them lose bodily functions.
Squealer did say they were experimenting with it. They did get to a point where they were able to lobotomize them but they could still give birth, because they were essential to queerrat survival.
This is just like my days on the D&D boards! Assembling teams of warriors, clerics, wizards, and a French whore's make-up!
I gotta admit this rouge business sure brings back memories
I'd say getting killed is better than being mind-broken into a husk of the person you once were, forced to kill your own killed.
>forced to kill your own killed
Kill los killed
'lled' is slang for 'n' where I live. Yeah.
That must be some dialect you speak.
Fuck. I just got to the trial
someone stop the tears
I felt many things for squealer over the course of the show. The last thing I felt was sympathy
I think I might be responsible, I made that up on the spot as a possible way to explain timeline discrepancies and DNA match bones being handed over seemingly right away and some people just ran with it thinking I was a novel reader.
I just finished this show. What should I watch next?
