>Watch a show you skipped while it was airing
>Never see any threads about it for weeks
>There's a thread up on /a/ for it when you feel like talking about it
I have a theory.
There is something that subconsciously triggered you to watch that show from your backlog that you saw on /a/ at some point recently as did others, and so you guys finish the show around the same time and someone makes a thread.
Or /a/ and all its users are figments of my imaginations as I'm stuck in a dream.
Probably something like that, combined with the fact you're less susceptible to notice the threads before you've watched it.
But I just finished strike witches and I want to shout out how good Sweet Duet is. As it stands, the SW general isn't up.
>watch a movie that's been in my backlog for months
>suddenly curious about something, hop on PTP to check
>as I login I accidentally fuckup my password once, as I enter it the second time it just happens to choose the poster for this movie I'm watching right this moment from the thousands on there for my captcha thing
Also a few hours ago I was jacking off to a doujin for a fairly rarely discussed series only to see it mentioned the instant I tabbed back from that in a completely unrelated thread, where it had not been mentioned before.
So make a thread you idiot. Why do you just wait for people to do things for you instead of creating content?
>missing the point
This happens to me with video games and /v/. Its especially weird because these games are often a decade or more old.
Every. Single. Time.
ITT we are all freaked out by synchronicity
I usually disconnect my modem when this happens OP
> Participated in GuP threads because I'm a huge tank fan
> Never watched the anime
> Marathoned the series only after discussions have died down somewhat
Feels good to be able to educate some anons who knew nothing about tanks but they still watched GuP. Also Yukarin is my daughteru.
It would have been funny if you ended up not actually liking the series.
