Did people actually like the lightsaber-wielding lesbian ninja
Did people actually like Gemini Of The Meteor?
I couldn't hate her because I was too busy hating Gemini as a whole
She was a good foil to pedo kerrytugu
Then he ended up killing whatserface and the show went from meh to holy shit this is the worst ending ever
I didn't hate Twins until the last episode when it became evident they had no idea what they were doing and basically were yanking us for three months.
No. I wanted Hei to wreck her shit but you know. Lost hope when he lost his power to that piece of shit girl. God damn 3 eps was all it took for me to lose any hope for a good second season. Thought the UNTZ kept it alive for me and /a/.
I hated them just because the story wasn't told through Hei.
I actually liked Suou so I enjoyed it well enough. Could have been a billion times better though.
Only hope we got a for a new season is if they do a prequel of Hei at South America.
Lesbian Jedi Ninja is the strongest bodyguard, she'll keep the new leader of the world resistance against the NWO safe.
I dunno, I just can'y handle the story being told through some dweeb and not Hei. The more I think about it, the more I realize just how different the first and second season were. I'm happy that Hei was a depressed piece of shit, though, it wouldn't make sense if he wasn't
They should have done that in the first place. Making a sequel was a difficult/bad idea, and it's kinda dumb considering the fact that they have so much they could explain with a prequel.
Did Suou want Hei's dick?
if only she had thicker eyebrows
So /a/, when I watched DtB I watched up till like episode 24 or 25 at the end of season 1 before the stuff that leads into s2. Did I miss out by skipping Gemini?
Basically the ending of the series to me was
>Hei manages to prevent contractors from being wiped out and gets away
>Cat-man dies going to far into the zone with Hei
>Old ex-detective guy dies in self-made car-bomb distracting others to give Hei time.
>Amber sacrificed herself to give Hei the choice despite Hei being a douche to her the entire fucking series
Suou is my favorite DtB girl, so I lked s2 well enough too.
Watch OVA and then read the manga.
Nope, the running joke is that it never happened because nothing that mattered happened in it.
I only know her from goo-paaa's porn, and never actually watched DtB. I'm surprised she looks so different in the actual show. Didn't know she was a lesbian either.
Does the OVA take place at the end of the the first season?
Does the manga end differently and/or branch out from Gemini or does it follow the same pattern?
OVA takes after s1 which would explain what S2 was about. The manga is basically how the second season should of been.
>>Liking anything from the 2nd Season
Season 2 is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. It still isn't as good but Hei actually grows as a person and with proper length it might have met the same standards as the first. You're missing out by stubbornly refusing to see half the series. Also Hei totally didn't get away, even in the ending he says he'll probably spend what little time makes up the rest of his life being hunted by the syndicate and the government. I can't believe you think such an open ending where most of the cast dies horribly was satisfying in any way. I mean season 2 has some Rebuild shit going on in the ending but season 1's ending was about as bad as the original Evangelion TV ending.
You'd be surprised by her voice too.
He wrecked her shit in that one scene where he stole her girlfriend.
I needed more anon.
Suo was cute. I forgot about everyone else in Gemini. I guess lesbian chick was okay.
Gemini did have a decent opening though.
what a shitty end she had
And then she kicked his ass in their next battle.
Actually, I'm kind of surprised that Hei lost his last fight in the series.
>I can't believe you think such an open ending where most of the cast dies horribly was satisfying in any way.
Well then I guess you and I... are on two different wavelengths, good sir.
I guess because he had no power. I'm pretty sure he got his wire around her arm in that fight.
That's because she was distracted by her mother's death. Doesn't matter too much though, Hei with his powers would have kicked her ass and they had to nerf him.
Jesus Korra sucks balls compared to the original Avatar.
>uh oh, nee-san is becoming friends with KGB-chan again
>lucky I can create a high-powered anti-material rifle
In a Dr. Girlfriend way, or something else?
I agree wholeheartedly.
>Hei with his powers would have kicked her ass and they had to nerf him.
Hei still putting up a fight even without his powers is more impressive, at least to me.
That's quite an accomplishment too.
Galaxy Train part was probably the highest point of the second season.
Oh man i miss Iroh. He was awesome.
When he was still with his sister, Hei used to kill Contractors even though he didn't have any powers. He's just a badass.
That's because Amber reset time every time he got killed.
What what? When did this happen?
He shows up in Korra Book 2 to give some advice. Was chilling in the Spirit World. Some people thought it would've been more in-character for him to die of old age though.
It was stated in the manga, I think. Back when they were fighting in Heaven's Gate, Amber would turn back time every time one of her team mates got killed.
Did Hei killed Suou's fake dad?
Well that sucks. I should probably read the manga now. I picked it up around august and I've been forgetting to read it.
still waiting for S2
You bet your virginity she did.
Hei was pretty sexy with his unshaven hobo look
Suou-san please go and stay go, tell Yin to come here while you're at it
Hei is a total badass.
Shitty pussy-boy Kiritsugu is no match for him.
Dem collarbones and child abuse.
I want to murder whoever at Bones thought making some stupid prepubescent sniper girl the main character was a good idea
But I want to murder a lot of people at Bones anyway for various other shows.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn5SkMa5JZE - It's from OVAs, not DTB s2 I think. But whatever.
This track fucking destroys me every time I hear it.
>Shitty pussy-boy Kiritsugu is no match for him.
Chinese Batman is badass to the core, she's not pretending to be badass like Kiritsugu. Kiritsugu simply couldn't handle it in the end and his facade was destroyed, exposing a broken man.
At least Hei could carry this weight.
Is the manga canon?
>that "HE'S BACK" moment
almost made season 2 worth it
I don't see why not. It fits in well between the S1 and OVA.
He looks like a manwhore
I'll cut ya m8
Still better than the menstruating clone girl.
>He looks like a manwhore
Then how does HE look like?
Hei's gonna get some serious joint problems when he gets older.
That episode was definitely the highlight of the whole second season. I still don't get how they were able to ruin it.
When you look at it, all the bad things that happened were essentially Hei's fault. He didn't really deserve that.
An expensive manwhore.
No one liked Darker than Black Season 2 after around episode 3. We still watched it but it was mostly out of morbid curiosity or prayer for a miracle that would make the show make sense.
There were a bunch of really fun images made in that time, but the best one was the
I will kill her
Image with a submarine sinking the Yin/Hei ship. If anyone could repost that it would be awesome.
Get that shit away, fuck off thick bush.
I thought it was because people pretended to block it out of their memories.
Is she spiderman
I want Hei to a Megane, Megane waited for him
