Hello /a/. I like tsunderes, but I don't like how the animes involving them usually end with them getting a proper relationship going at the end and not showing how they are together. You guys are the experts, so if anyone will know of a series I'm looking for it's you guys, right? This is what I was looking for:
An anime with a tsundere love interest that has the main couple actually get together more than an episode or two before it ends (around the halfway point would be nice), and then actually still has them as a focus for the rest of the series. And preferably still ends with them together.
I remember Da Capo being something like that, except once they fell in love they also fell out of focus because the main girl got sick/cursed or something. Toradora was also close, but it was near the end when they actually started dating. Oreimo was the same with them becoming a couple at the tail-end. Is there any series that has what I'm looking for, oh great and powerful Animu?
No takers, ani-friends?
Krauss-Sama's Wonderful Days is what you are looking for
Boku no Pico and Natsuyasumi are both top /a/ picks.
Oh right, that's a what-if set in the School Days universe, right?
I don't think that one has the sort of story I was going for.
Hello, my name is Ronoue Genji. I am going to take the product of incest rape child of my master, and raise him as a girl with the intention of eventually delivering him back to his rapist father. I will also employ him as a child servant in a job that is universally agreed to be difficult even for young adults by the woman who tried to murder him as a baby. I'll lie to him his entire life and let him go friendless and depending on shit like witch fantasies to cope with his terrible life, but it will all be worth it when my master meets him again, feels better about raping his own daughter, and gets a peaceful death.
Then I guess I'll tell this child they're actually a disfigured man and the product of rape and give him the switch to a giant bomb and a bunch of guns. What could go wrong?
I had to google the second one.
Am I the only one who thinks a Witch actually did it?
Is that a no-no around here?
Stopped reading right there.
>Is that a no-no around here?
Yes. Know what else is a no-no?
Shitty recommendation threads. Like this one.
>Am I the only one who thinks a Witch actually did it?
Gah, not supposed to add an "s", right?
Well damn. Can't hurt to ask.
So how does one go about asking for what I have properly, in /a/?
Why would you give in to the illusion of the witch like that? You probably got stuck around the 4th game.
Or worse, just watched the anime.
You don't. You lurk or you use the several recommendation charts that are made.
I do indeed got it.
I look at it like this: As long as you accept that whether it was a witch or not Battler isn't coming back, then you're just left with whether you believe he died in the disaster or he lives on having word-battles and balls with witches. Pick whichever is most comforting, since they both still have the same truth that he's gone, in the end.
I don't come here very often. I've never seen the charts you're talking about. Could you post them here, please?
Google "anime recommendation charts". Without the quote marks. Look at what the first result is called.
Thanks! I've seen a good chunk of these though, and none of them were really what I was looking for. If I was going to lurk instead, I'd have to wait until someone else brought up what I just did anyway, so isn't it easier to bring it up myself so that if anyone is interested in discussing it, there's already a thread to do it in? It'd help me if they do it here, too!
Well in that case I apologize for my reaction. I suppose the thread would be acceptable. But in general, try to avoid doing these.
It's fine. I'd guess you guys get trolled a lot by people who make the threads on purpose just to piss you off? If it helps, I've only ever done this once before a few years ago.
Hentai and VisualNovels usually have good ends for tsundere.
beatrice a shit & a liar
Which only works becasue they get fucked and then calm down.
Fuck off to >>>/r/ request threads are against the rules.
It's not that, it's that people come here to ask for recommendations a lot and they always make their own thread about it, so you get a lot of threads about the same questions with the same answers all of the time.
I've got a few of those, actually. That makes sense, since most visual novels are about the relationships. Do you know of any good ones? The only VN's I've read are School Days, Umineko (both parts), Saya no Uta, Katawa Shoujo, and Planetarian.
I'm not sure who that is. Looks familiar though.
Oh yea, I've seen a few of these. The first three episodes at least.
Which Beatrice though?
That does make sense, since the belligerent sexual tension goes away once the sex happens. For the most part. Still, I'm mostly frustrated that there's no development in an anime I've seen after the two leads decide to become a couple, since they'll either fall out of focus or something else will come up and they just act like they never got together with random moments thrown in where they maybe kiss or blush or something to show things are a little different. But even that's pretty rare.
Sorry about that. Well, don't think of it like a request thread, then. What if it was more like a discussion thread about what anime have the best romantic developments between a couple with a tsundere involved?
I didn't think about it like that. I apologize, and promise to be more careful in the future.
Still a request threads and you should still fuck off to >>>/r/.
>I'm not sure who that is. Looks familiar though.
Thats tomboy tsundere from The Sagara family. She hits you all the time and wants you out of the house. But if you decide to go her route, she becomes really nice and has one of the best sex scenes and she is too sweet in her end. She gets the stereotypical "Do you want dinner, bath or .." routine.
It should be ok if we change the topic, right? So it's not a request anymore.
That's a common complaint with Tsunderes in visual novels and anime, isn't it? It's hard to nail down the balance between too dere and too tsun, since the character either comes out looking like she changed entirely for the lead or never dropped the wall enough to believably let someone in. I can see why it'd be tricky to write a character that has so much stubbornness as a personality trait while also having an additional wall that should come down when the person they love earns it.
She is IMO pretty good in this regard. In the end, it is said she still acts pretty tsun in public, but goes full dere when she is alone with MC.
I'd get along terribly with that kind of person, in public. I like PDA stuff, so it'd annoy me. I'm sure it'd be all worth it in private, though. There was another girl like that in an anime I watched just recently, but I can't remember the name of it.
You are not true tsundere lover.
Knowing that girl has a cute and loving side even though she tries to act serious and tough is best part of liking a tsundere. It gives you feeling of superiority over the girl.
Maybe not enough to say they're my preferred type, but I do really like them. I just think with that kind of person I'd end up teasing them in public too much and end up with a concussion. I wonder how many tsunderes from anime would end up arrested if they existed in real life?
>Umineko is hardcore shit
