I don't remember the school being quite that big. Nor floor to ceiling windows all over the place. Shaft takes liberties sometimes, but isn't this suppose to be a public school?
its for the sun to be SHAFTed more
It's just SHAFT being try hard surreal faggots as usual
Looks like a freaking hotel and casino.
Just SHAFT being SHAFT.
Everyone isn't a delinquent, so no, it's not a public school.
Hello, and welcome to SHAFT
Ron Paul will put SHAFT in charge of all architectural and building design.
I would love to go to a school designed by SHAFT.
Reminds me of TWOGK with triangles.
Architecturing by SHAFT
SHAFT loves to do whatever they want with their backgrounds.
On a side note, as generic as Nisekoi felt, I enjoyed the ambient music and visuals.
Will try episode 3 rule before potentially dropping.
He finally won my vote over.
>yfw da onodera wins the nice koi
I'd put an actual shop together but I've got a class at 8 tomorrow so I need to get to sleep and quick.
>voting to give everyone eye cancer
>yfw da onodera wins the nice koi
It fit a lot better with Bakemonogatari and all their other series for that matter.
I still don't know why Shaft is doing Nisekoi.
Shaft being shaft, I suppose.
Interesting composition, but what does it mean?
>Shaft takes liberties sometimes
Shaft's backgrounds don't have anything to do with the literal story most of the time
Same. Shaft might be able to save this terrible story and make a decent anime out of it
God damn it. Some of where these are placed don't even make sense.
Barmind. I can only suppose that there will be changes in the BDs.
It's an eyesore. Shaft tries too hard with their cinematography.
There are university libraries that look like that though
Fuck you Shaft. All I wanted was my stupid generic WSJ romcom.
But it's not a university library, it's a high school hallway.
It will work better in shaft's next anime, which is full of dream sequences, flashbacks, perspective changes, and imaginary naked sky people.
There's definitely someone at Shaft who wanted to be an architect and didn't make it, probably because he kept designing shit that wasn't structurally plausible. I kind of like it.
You know, that would explain so goddamn much of everything that comes out of SHAFT, if it were true.
>making your jungle gym out of bismuth
Now that you mention it..
What the fuck, man
Are people even fazed by this anymore?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I think shaft does some really pretty looking things.
It's just that the majority of it doesn't make structural sense, and doesn't go along with whatever source they're working with.
The surreal and architecture just feels so sterile to me, and it doesn't quite fit what this series is about. I get that Shaft is trying to make this more than your average generic romcom, but if anything the clash made it worse.
But it's fine when they doing something original. Though with Madoka, they get a lot of it out of their systems in the barriers, so the real world doesn't have to suffer from noneuclidean geometry.
Oh yeah, if they're doing their own thing, I don't care if they make a whole building out of stained glass and it's in the style of an MC Escher room, as long as it looks pretty.
Just watched it.
>dat teenaged becky
>dat szs reference
>dat style and cinematography
>dat sense of humor
Shaft, you've done it again.
Anime of the fucking year.
Haven't seen that in over a year.
>Anime of the fucking year
Well, that one too.
And like, 5 others.
There're a lot this season...
But they haven't animated the virgin mary's fluffy pajamas yet.
