Is anyone actually looking forward to the Grisaia anime coming this year?
I always look forward to VN adaptations
It'll probably have some good moments but fail as an overall adaption like (almost) every visual novel adaption.
I'll probably watch it for Yuuji hijinks.
The VN is awesome, and the anime is gonna ruin everything.
Still trying to finish it. I'll get out of here before I get spoiled.
Yes, if it covers the 2 untranslated visual novels
Did we get any more information on it?
All I saw was that one picture.
I just finished it and have a question.
Was there really only 5 routes, one for each of the main girls? For some reason I was under the impression that a route for Kazami Kazuki opens upon finishing the 5 main.
If it isn't omnibus like Amagami, it's bound for failure.
>looking forward to a VN adaptation
They're shit at least 90% of the time.
You say that like Amagami was a success.
Even then Photokano was pretty damn bad. But that's mostly due to the time constraints, 12 episodes isn't near enough for an omnibus adaptation.
You say that like it wasn't.
Kazuki comes in third game. You'll have to sit tight for now.
Dude they fucked up Photokano because the first 5 or 6 episodes weren't about anything besides character introductions. Amagami's omnibus format beats shittykano and yosuga no sora's out of the water.
That car reminds me of a Ferrari.
Is it going to be 1-cour or 2-cour?
It can work like Clannad if they pick one route...I'm guessing they will pick Amane or Sachi route.
If it goes down like that I'd prefer Sachi's osananajima route rather than Amane's diary route.
They can't pick one route.
Clannad VN was centered around Nagisa. Technically speaking, Clannad was only about Nagisa. All other routes were just bonus.
That's not really the case with Grisaia.
But clannad animated all the routes.
I'm guessing it's going to end up as bad as Majikoi did.
Will they animate the sequels?
I wanna see these guys in action.
Well so did Kanon. That's just how they were, Amagami's multi-verse 1 on 1 romance beats psuedo-harem multi-route anime like Clannad and Key.
Sorry meant to say Clannad, Kanon and Da Capo
Thank you, kind /a/non. That's a bit unfortunate. Here's hoping the anime sparks more interest in translating the rest.
Majikoi anime was just a glorified ad for the upcoming fd like most vn adaptations.
Grisaia has no upcoming fd to advertise, the anime is meant to be standalone like the WA2 anime.
Started playing this VN last week, am on Makina's route and boy this route sure is long. Got the scene where the bakery burned down. How much longer after that?
You're in for a long ride pal. At least 40 more hours.
Most of which is amane's shitty diary
Who the hell are they?
They always fuck up VN adaptations, also grisaia has serious problems with the pacing.
You will never have a Maguro-man shirt like Robert Wolson
>owning a modern Ferrari
The VN is great but the anime adaptation will be shit
I'll probably watch it anyway
Yuuji's American buddies. They're the most likable characters in the series.
Why are there men and women in the same squad? Couldn't that get... sexual?
So what the fuck is this series about anyway
vndb summary isn't really helping
The first VN is self-contained, I couldn't really tell you what the sequels are about
They're professional soldiers. Don't be stupid.
I don't like JBs voice. Not sure why.
I liked her voice. The cast was pretty solid overall, Makina's voice was grating at times though.
She was grating at first but after a while I just appreciated her comedic timing and delts.
I did have to lower her volume though.
Yuuji still fucks the shit out of Millie and the Capt.
same, had no problem with her voice but I had to halve the volume whenever she spoke out of fear that my neighbors would hear it
I lowered everyone's volume but that was because the entire game was too loud through my headphones
>not wearing headphones
I'm trying not to get hyped because I know it'll suck, but hey
optimism and shit. Hope they pull it off
>restricting your head
In what way?
Oh yes. And I don't see any other way besides Omnibus format.
I am a lot but
Unless it's a 2 cours show, it will get butchered, why can't they adapt something with 3 heroines at least once?
