Hey /a/, do you want some Donuts?
I always wondered if those tasted any good, or if it just taste like rice
i've always wondered what this tastes like
Jelly filled are my favorite!
There's usually something inside of it, so it depends on what else is in it.
My japanese friend gave me one and i don't even know what it was filled with, but it looked like strawberry jelly and tasted like rotten feces.
bean paste probabyu
Nah it was shellfish related
>He doesn't fill his donuts with stringy fetid natto
I fucking love bean paste in stuff. Wish I could get it in the states
It's just sticky rice filled with a preserved filling: some sort of pickle or fish. Not a bad snack, and pretty filling.
Don't forget the syrup!
It's basically just sticky rice. Nothing special, I just never understood how that could be a full meal for a nippon.
>Left to right
HOW COULD I?
Forget, I mean
You fill it with anything, try with mixed eggs seasoned with miso and spring onion.
At least downtown LA has some pretty pimping courts.
>This Yokai village was made by some Japanese immigrants.
>Underwater localization of Onigiri
Can I not?
It's getting pretty silly. Can't wait until they explicitly show some big real-life Japanese landmark or something so I can watch the localization team try to explain why it's now in LA.
hey I was trying to post that
and why was the localization of Phoenix Wright so awful
do these translators assume that we're all just too stupid to understand the existence of other cultures
That would require them to make a sequel.
No, you're just too stupid to understand that part of the charm of the localization was that it was meant to be hamfisted.
oh, so they were just pretending to be stupid
I remember when they inverted that at the end of Justice for All. I had to refer to a walkthrough.
Because the first game was relatively free of Japanese culture outside of the Fey clan.
And then they went all-out from the second game beyond.
I bet if the localization team could go back in time and change the English localization to be set in Japan from the very beginning they would. Alas, it's too late for them now.
