>We discuss the future of /a/nime.
Can someone explain why anime is getting worse with every season ?
And don't give me the usual excuse that the industry is dying.
I know the law is strict recently but that's not an excuse either.
Up to now, i have been following anime for years and i have to say
why are they wasting money on fanservice and moe shit that get the same
sells like any other type, it's not like i have a problem with it but this season ...!?
There are many good manga's, LN's, stories, out there that would make
great sells if they get adopted the right way instead of all of this moe shit they are making.
true anime doesn't need quality or fanservice, it can achieve the same goal with just a good plot.
and I didn't get into anime to watch a whole show full with nothing but fanservice and dumb comedy.
I mean i even began to think that they're doing this on purpose, because no one of the excuses and reasons they're showing are convincing in the current time.
and if this keep up, i can see /a/ ending up as the second /u/ .
Because you're getting older.
I am old too and i am still enjoying my chinese cartoons
I broke my arm thanks to anime
I broke my dick thanks to anime
Not older, just jaded and bitter.
Because you're a faggot.
Anime has been dying since 1990, see the usenet's posts. They were basically /a/ in the 90's.
Because they like where this is going.
There is only one thing you can do
It's not getting worse. There is more high quality anime than ever. If you think otherwise, then it's because you are a faggot that never actually watched old anime. Here's a list of everything from the 90's
90% of that list is garbage that you've never heard of. The reason why you think anime is shit these days is because you just got over the hump of watching only entry-level shit. Here's a spoiler for you: Entry-level shows are things that have already been vetted as good by a large amount of people. If you're only watching things that have already been vetted as good, then it's obvious that you'll think quality has declined when you start vetting things yourself by watching seasonally. This may not be obvious the first or second season your start watching, because you'll be hyped up by all the new shit you're seeing. But then after that you'll start filtering better and realize that a lot of stuff is crap. That's not to say there was better stuff before, you're just being exposed to more anime than you were before. When you first started out, you certainly weren't exposed to forgettable trash like Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, but when you start sampling various shows from a season as they're airing, you'll see things like it. Again, the quality hasn't dropped, you've just started judging things for yourself instead of reading anime recommendation charts.
I see your point, but i don't think that's what he meant by getting worse. we can't denied that there are high quality shows but i think most companies can go with better adaptation and still fulfill what they are looking for but that's the total opposite of what they are doing.
Not really. I age in reverse; last year I was 35, now I'm 34.
>Can someone explain why anime is getting worse with every season ?
It always was, this is why /a/ exist .
I broke them both thanks to anime.
