Hi /a/, i'm trying to remember the name of an anime I saw a long time ago.
It was about this girl who moved to a new town i think. I think she had some sort of sailor moon like power where she would suddenly become good with swords. There was also a guy in it that was the best sword fighter in his club and would always include his class and club when he introduced himself which was pretty hillarious. The entire show seemed to be making fun of anime in general by including scenes like that. I think there was also an episode where the girl came down with a fever and her dad burnt his hand on her head in a comical sense, but then had to go to the hospital for it. I don't know how accurate these memories are, it was a long time ago that I saw this.
pic not related
bump, I also think the guy turned out to be a disciple of the overarching bad guy
no she wasn't dead, she was going to highschool or something
Bogu no bigu
Ano Natsu de Matteru
No, it's fate/zero.
none of these ones look like it.
I vaguely remember that when she was good with swords, she would be wearing some green and black ninja like clothing
I remember swords and green and black ninja like clothing in Baccano.
Kage Kara Mamoru ?
The only thing that barely resembles what you're talking about that I can think of is Utena, and it doesn't look like it. I'm sorry, OP, but I can't think of anything.
i google imaged it and it doesn't look quite right
If I remember correctly, this anime was funny in a B-movie sort of way where the dialog felt really stupid
I originally saw it on Comcast's on demand video thing like a decade ago, don't know if anyone else ever used that for anime exposure
Wait a minute, are you guys making fun of OP? Hidoiyo!
OP here, thinking back on it, she may have worn something along the lines of that girl with the giant boomerang from inuyasha
Hayate no Gotoku ?
>dialog felt really stupid
Look at this dialog. They're talking about saving the world by stealing cell phones!
Oh, i know then, corrector yui.
this anime was all about swords and sword fighting in relatively modern times.
alot of it took place in bamboo forests and im pretty sure the main character had black hair
>relatively modern times
It's Baccano, dude.
Fate/zero happens in modern times.
So, does it have historical setting or modern one? You said she was going to school.
Also google found something called "Prétear", but I have no idea if it is what you are looking for.
It had two seasons.
wait no i think this is it!!!!!!!!!!
this is definitely it, thank you so much anon
No problem mate. Just come back here and good ol' /a/ will help you with all your problems. Tell your friends, too!
Baiting too hard there anon.
It's that shitposter that got really mad because we told him off in a rec thread.
I'm worried he might kill himself or something, leave him be.
