Does /a/ like Space Brothers?
I've watched 42 episodes so far, and I like it.
It's a nice break from all that random loli shit that eventually turns into a headache.
It's probably my favourite anime.
There's usually a thread after a new episode aired, but they're not that busy.
Weekly dose of warmness and optimism.
Fucking awesome.... but not for marathoning.
But would be even more awesome if we had some confirmation that Serika is also feeling something about Mutta and just doesn't know what it is.
Fucking suffering episodes on the moon.
Ive nearly marathoned the entire thing , im on like ep 75 so far. Its an anime where you can keep watching episodes one after another.
Last week my kid brother watched from ep 1 up to current in about 4 days. Babby's first marathon. It was actually kinda aggravating.
I read the manga up to date though. Not bad. The whole Russia arc with that teen girl was pretty fucking awkward though. Like I know she's Japan-legal, but damn.
I enjoyed it, but I stopped watching somewhere in episodes 30-40, and haven't been bothered enough to find out where and resume watching.
>caring what worst girl thinks
It sucks. Not enough cute girls doing cute things
Overrated circlejerk with a vocal fanbase thread?
I love it but I'm behind.
The pacing sucks, but I do love it.
>When are they going to get to the fireworks factory?
>Overrated circlejerk with a vocal fanbase thread?
I think you meant to reply to one of the Madoka threads.
Anyone following the scanlation? Are there any groups ripping the cr scans?
so how long until the show ends? I dont watch running shows.
Don't bring that now, OP is a faggot but his thread isn't shit.
I wonder how many people that were following this series from the beginning are still here.
The manga has some fucked up shit.
For instance, did you know that in Houston you can order a whole bottle of Jack Daniels in a diner?
Dat huge 10 month timeskip during training, worst pacing or worst pacing ever? I was expecting more challenges like the desert survival and shit.
Anybody have the anime version of this frame? They fucking substituted a kangaroo for wrinkly Sly Stallone.
Papa Nanba is the best
Do Japanese people actually have hair like that? If so why wouldn't they just commit sudoku?
>Starship True Love
>aerodynamics on the moon
I fucking love this show.
I swear, even 2D astronettes are miles away hotter than their 3D counterparts.
Okay, bottom-left isn't half bad.
His ASCAN training, he starts flight training then all of sudden hes a fully fledged astronaut.
Well, I started after ep 3 or so aired.
The only group doing scans stopped when Cruncyroll picked it up for their manga section.
Cruncyroll (appears) to be 4 full volumes behind the fan scanslation, and 10 volumes behind Japan.
The anime appears (through thumbnails on CR) to be roughly where the scanslation stopped (although I'm very far behind on the anime).
was meant for >>100118542
Dropped it after ~50 episodes, I just wasn't interested anymore.
>Cruncyroll (appears) to be 4 full volumes behind the fan scanslation
They've scanlated ahead too leaving a huge gap. I'm aware imangascan dropped it but there should be some sort a ripping group.
Oh, okay... so get this. Check the chapter numbers. For some reason CR has like the last several current chapters... then nothing back until volume 12. The fan releases continue from volume 12, but haven't caught up to current. Mangareader has the current CR releases, plus where the fan releases end... but yeah check the chapter numbers.
That threw me for a second when I saw it. It's fucking irritating.
I'm still here although I'm quite far behind right now, need to catch up.
Best op is still Feel so Moon and best ED is still ED2
So, as someone just joining the fray, was there celebration on /a/ when the "space picture" segment got dropped?
I think it was fine. Apparently, it was mostly flight training. And Sharon's condition getting worse ;_;
I fell behind in it. Then tried to catch up. Then fell behind again. I'm back at Ep 77. The pacing is such garbage. It works for the manga but less so for the anime.
You guys haven't forgotten about BRIAN JAY, have you?
Pacing is fine if you're watching it as it airs, but yeah I could see it being difficult to marathon.
God dat flight training arc. Foreshadowing was fucking obvious, but my god. It was great.
But that was nice. Didn't take up much time, either.
I know Cruncyroll has some of the latest chapters, but when there's a 60+ chapter untranslated gap those 'newest' chapters don't really count from my perspective.
Why would there be? It was certainly better than the dumb rabbit
Why can't ghost banri be more like ghost brian jay?
I have never hated a fictional character more than I hate ghost Banri
I only picked it up at around episode 17, but i look forward to it every week.
The previous OP was also pretty great. And OP2. I also quite like ED1 and Tete.
>dat heart cloud that the Chief thinks is for him
That's some nice piece of art.
If she only showed more of her science/medical side...
The far bottom right and far top right heads look like they were shooped onto space suits.
Holy shit, OP here. I nearly forgot about this thread, but it looks like it finally got somewhere.
I've been watching about two episodes a day. I figure since it's an ongoing series I might as well catch up, an then watch them as they come out. Usually I'd read the Manga first, but I'm already on a roll with the Anime, so I might just try the manga afterwards.
>the pacing sucks
No kidding. It really helps level me out and keep my mind on what's important.
... imageswap? I hope?
fukuda is moe
I nearly fell out of my chair at that scene. Then they had to crush my heart right after.
/co/ tier western pandering bullshit
Everyone, if you liked the anime but thought the pacing was shit, read the manga. Fan releases are, I think, neck and neck with where the anime is. Maybe a little ahead.
Eat a dick.
I've been watching since episode 1 aired, and I love it.
When did this happen?
Are they still on Earth?
That one actor in Aku no Hana has hair like that.
I don't know what they're fighting but I would fucking watch it.
Going all Pug Life and all.
But Anon, Mutta is always on the moon.
Manga Anons - will Olga appear in reasonable time in the anime?
Apparently this is serika but I don't really see it.
>will Olga appear in reasonable time in the anime?
Only bad thing about this show were the HIBBIT bits at the end. Couldn't they just have shown five more mintes of ads or somethign if they were that worried about catching up to the manga? Dumbest shit ever.
Olga is already in the anime
I meant again.
Like video-chat with Hibito at least.
Never seen it. I do love pugs though.
>I meant again.
Olga was last in chapter 147, and the current translated chapter is 159. (technically 220 is translated but nothing between 159 and 220... sasuga CR)
I'm still here.
dat Pico and Vincent backstory
Its too moe.
Is this "mutta special" the milk?
So many adult men blushing.
The scene when they saw the body was really powerful.
It's generally like this with this show - it's pretty good normally, but some episodes are god damn amazing.
I started when 3 or 4 episodes were out.
Even when the show gets slow, the payoff is really great in the end.
I'm about 10 or so eps behind right now, but started watching day 1.
Why did Serika sound so different in the latest episode?
It's a foreshadowing of her cancer
Best headbutt in anime
Started watching from day one and this his been my favorite show for the past two years.
Really, she sounded really fucking different. Like, different VA different
Still sounds like Sawashiro to me.
I don't know, it was just a tad bit deep. Wasn't it?
>This show is harem
>But instead of girls getting converted to the church of MC's D, they're guys converted to the church of Mutta's Brotherhood.
Can't wait for him to be bros with Vince.
Vince is the tsundere. He's already slightly converted with that incident with Pico and their old friend.
Immediately made it into my top 10 at episode 43 because I hadn't been so emotionally traumatized since Erin.
I haven't been following th threads and actually haven't watched the last two episodes.
Since the new years started I haven't been watching much anime.
>Losing both your father and your childhood hero due to the same disease.
I rarely start following series from episode 1, but I had to make an exception for Uchuu Kyoudai since everyone said it was AOTYAY after the first episode.
It was brutal. The delivery, voice acting and music were amazing. I nearly shat myself in the taxi scene.
I wonder what Monkey is doing right now. Fukuda is working on the rocket, but we haven't heard from him recently.
Don't fucking remind me.
All that suffering, amazing music and voice acting. That wavering between resignation and will to survive.
And that episode about young Pico, Vince and their friend.
This series can kick you in your mental balls so fucking hard.
The whole plotline with Sharon.
All of it.
Sharon may never get to see her dream realized. ;_;
She has inspired at least three persons to do great things.
I'll cry bitch tears if they show her dying.
I don't think I'd ever be able to recover.
I do kind of wonder what will happen to Sharon. This show can be realistic enough to have her die. On the other hand, with Serika going to the ISS, she might be cured just yet.
Either way, I'm sure they'll deal with it appropriately. It's nice to have an optimistic show were problems exist, but they aren't magically solved, and people learn to deal with them. Hibito's and Sharon's arc show this quite nicely.
>Serika going to the ISS, she might be cured just yet.
At the state she is, it's irreversible.
Yeah, regardless of what happens, it's clear that they'll handle it with taste.
And I'll cry out of either sorrow or joy.
God, I hope Serika won't get some space AIDS cancer when she will start her research at the ISS.
