Welcome home, /a/.
What moments in anime made you shed bitch/manly tears?
what anime is this
just finished marathoning toradora, it was a nice emotional roller coaster
I forgot to watch Toradora this christmas
The manliest of tears
not OP but I think its Gunbuster, may be wrong.
>also not knowing where it's from
>thinking that is Gunbuster
If you spoonfeed, at least know how it's called.
It's called Mars of Destruction.
Why is Gungrave so underrated and perfect?
I don't think I'll recover from this.
Even knowing it was coming, it still got me.
oh man don't remind me
we will never get an anime adaption
That year, the Wizard did not return.
>actually posting madoshit
When every single character in Hokuto no Ken died.
Even fucking Jagi.
That day we lost something that could never be replaced
Aim for the Top 2?
KIMI TO NATSU NO OWARI
the whole scene wasn't that much of a tearjerker, but the seiyuu was magnificent in that scene, her cries alone made me all teary.
>crying to that shit
let me ruin it further
I'm probably going to be called a pleb but yeah, this scene.
I didn't cry when Mary Sue girl died, I cried when What's his face had to make amends and solve his daddy issues
Felt very Cathartic.
why is that katakana 'i' backwards
>Rewatching TTGL with friend (his first time)
>Get to ep 8
>He keeps asking me whether he died or not
>Tells me he can't possibly die
to imply that it's taken Noriko and Kazumi so long to return to earth going faster than light that the society there now has somewhat forgotten how to speak and write japanese of their era
Episode 20 of K-ON!! was very depressing. I didn't feel that bad but I cried in my bed later that night. I kept on thinking about how 'Ritsu was trying to cheer everyone up with 'Lycopene!' to no avail. That was the first time I cried because of a fucking anime.
I also cried during Nanoha A`s when Fate imagined going back to her mother. It was such a cheap emotional hugbox but I fucking fell for it and again my tears were cheated.
man DtB had many sad moments.
Especially in the OVA's
That was the first time anime made me legit cry.
You're not talking about Nagisa, of course?
I cried bitch tears watching episode 20. When Yui's voice cracks... they just start to flow.
I knew something was going to happen, when she kept hoping for more stuff in Highschool.
>tfw you never reunited with your high school friends after school
>tfw you all went your separate ways
>tfw they go out on adventures from time to time but never invite you
>tfw lonely and abandoned by friends
>tfw doubt I will ever see them again
Kill me please
This, and Tokyo Magnitude.
First episode of Kotoura-san
if only the whole fucking movie was all hand drawn
>tfw you stay with your high school friends after school
>tfw you all went to the same place
>tfw they slowly grew obsessed with changing their image in a new city
>tfw you know they're talking shit behind your back because you refuse to change by going to clubs every weekend
Just finished Gunbuster recently, it was good but kind of underwhelming. Is it actually considered to be some-sort of masterpiece, or did I just get the wrong impression.
now watch diebuster
Does tears of rage count?
Those are the best tears.
Episode of toriko about old man and the tiger chicken egg. Feels came out of nowhere.
m80 u r a tru man
i also get random feels when watching Gintama
When Nunally screamed out for Lelouch after his death.
Still pissed how rushed this was
It would be 10/10 if 24 episodes long
No don't. It's shit, through and through. The only "good thing" about it is the tie in with gunbuster at the end. But in retrospect that is so hamfisted and contrived that it actually insults what the memory of gunbuster.
but that ending is worth it man
no it's not. it cheapens the original gunbuster
JoJo has the manliest of tears.
Wham death was touching. With JoJo saluting
nothing beats part 7 in manly tears though
Did not quite expect it to tear me up like it did.
I loved you Araragi-san.
this. Impressed as OP's.
Don't forget Polnareff and the manly tears he shed for Abdul.
You might want to give this a read if you really think that
Homuras flashback episodes of madoka
Ending of madoka
When akihito finds out he's still in a coma
I've watched like only 5 anime so...
Yup, it needed more episodes, or better focus, to be a true masterpiece. As it stands though, it's a great piece that everyone needs to watch.
I doubt it would have made me cry if had I not read the LNs beforehand. Knowing what he was thinking made it so much worse.
This is what I cried to when I read JoJo.
( I'm in the middle of part 4 now, so dunno if there's anything that will beat this when it comes to feels and tears ).
That scene in angel's egg where you can hear her screams underwater as she starts to drown.
I dont' get it
It's vader's birthday
no one knows or cares but one faceless stormtrooper, and he goes out of his way to tell vader happy birthday.
Grave of the fireflies
And countless of others have made me sad and almost made me shed a tear.
