Say, I was thinking and now I just have to ask.
What if Light had written his own name in the notebook as "Light Yamagi dies after successfully rooting out any opposition to his rule and happily controls a perfect world for thirty years of old age" ?
Would that have basically protected him from getting Matsu-owned?
That would be cheating.
You can't write your own name in the notebook.
Even foregoing this, the Death Note can't be used to extend lifetimes.
Names written in the notebook die in 30 days, that's the limit.
It has to be possible.
That's like asking what would happen if Lulu had put a geass on himself to "take down the Brittanian empire".
There was a 24-day maximum, wasn't there?
Then he should have written down "Mikami Teru roots out all of my opposition, then dies at the age of 54".
only if he is capable of rooting out any opposition
which he wasn't
it might have made Light have a hax win
but would he still be Light? he'll probably turn into a dead eyed zombie like Naomi Misora, even if he does succeed.
L wrote his name in the novel in the movie.
There's a time limit on the Death Note.
If a name is written on it, they die after 28 days no matter what.
Light wouldn't even want that. He didn't want to trade half his life-span for the eyes, so why would he do that.
if something's impossible then you just drop dead
I'd write my name in it only if I die from the most powerful orgasm in existance.
I was thinking the same thing except for L. Once they got a hold of the death note L should have written his death for like 75 years later or some shit. Then he wouldnt have to worry dying.
have fun with your exploding dick and bleeding out
