Is this an enjoyable show?

Also are there any other "sports" genre anime worth watching?
>>
Ippo.

Other than practically all of them, you mean?

Big statement

It is. But it's true. Ippo, Eyeshield, One Outs, Oofuri, Major... Yowamushi Pedal and Ace of Diamond are airing right now and they're fucking fantastic.

I didn't watch it, I read it - it's rather bland in my opinion which is sad since I love soccer.

Anyway, try Ookiku Furikabutte, Kuroko's Basketball, Slam Dunk, Eyeshield 21 (manga).

All are great.

Prince of tennis?

Hajime no Ippo. Or, alternatively, watch actual sports.

I generally dont give a shit about sport, but Giant Killing was fucking fantastic and the OP is by the Cherry Coke$.
I'm watching and enjoying Diamond no Ace simply because I gave Giant Killing a chance and loved the shit out of it.

on a related note, anywhere I can get a Tsubaki or Gino jersey? shit would be so cash

Never read it but the Anime is pretty good, id suggest you give it a try
>>
Seconding the One Outs suggestion, it's basically Akagi playing baseball.
GK was amazing as well, watch the fuck out of it right now.

Giant Killing is one of the most best anime I've ever seen. Best DEEN anime I've seen by far. Big Windup, Chihayafuru, and Eyeshield 21 are also good sports anime/manga I liked, since you like Giant Killing and I also like Giant Killing.
>>
Nagoya match was the best, because the animation was actually pretty solid. They gave a third of the budget to the Brazilians techniques or something when you compare.

I wonder how they would animate Ken-sama though. That just confuses the shit out of me how he cherry picks so well.
>>
I liked Chihayafuru.

>yowa pedal

ep 14 when?

Giant Killing is fantastic.

For that matter, you should start reading manga, there are lot of sports manga for adults while sports anime are mostly for kids. Some fine sorts manga - Last Inning, Ookiku Furikabutte, REAL, All-rounder Meguru, Ping Pong, Zero, Gaku and Kokou no Hito, though that is not purely "sports manga" but sociological and psychological study of a loner who uses mountaineering as a way to escape society.

I got bored of it
i thought it was about american football when reading the description

>Eyeshield
The anime adaptation was shit though.

Saki
