I just finished the Steins;Gate VN. And I felt moved by it.
What do you expect from the Sci Adv series? Dissapointed that it goes back to the same old highschool student retard? I know I am.
If this is Steins:Gate's choice.
Chaos and Robotics just have unbearable male leads. They are such dicks to everyone, I get that they are shut-ins but holy shit how can you say no to the girls when they ask you for help?
>not liking Taku
Impressive shit taste, anon.
Also, Chaos;Head VN is even better than Steins;Gate, plot wise at least. Characters aren't so good. Protagonist is still a god tier.
Robotics;Notes has pretty okay protagonist too, at least he's better that your average high schooler
He was a whiny selfish twat for 2/3 of the show. Yeah he gets the determination of generic shounen hero #357 later but even then he's still average.
> of the show
You'd better be talking about Robotics;Notes.
I got the true end of Steins;Gate. But there is still a huge mystery.
There was someone else than Okabe who used the Time leaping machine. Who the fuck was that?
Braun's daughter. She used it to get revenge on Moeka in the timeline where Braun kills himself.
Also, if in Steins;Gate movie everyone realizes that Okabe existed through their Reading Steiner-like powers, wouldn't Moeka and Braun remember fucking everything and go full Rounder on Okabe's ass again?
That is absurd. Was she evil this whole time?
No, she used it in the future to get revenge for her dad in her timeline.
She went insane after learning of the true cause of her father's demise. She stole the Time Leap Machine to have her revenge, and to avoid Braun's dead.
Who knows if it's actually a fixed point in time.
Lame ending. Just a ripoff from "The butterfly effect" movie.
Takumi was a fucking bro, the only reason you could hate him is if you hated yourself
whatshisface was a total normalfag though, fuck him
Granted I am only familiar with the VN that did not show anything that supports this theory.
Lets ignore the SG movie.
The short story of Okabe coming into the Chaos;Head timeline to give some tips was fun.
the movie was fucking glorious
>Blah blah blah
>Nothing gets resolved
>Kurisu doing kurisu things
>Novel explaining Mister Brauns backstory
>Drama CDs with all kinds of wacky adventures
Time to learn moonrunes, I guess.
You missed the scene, didn't you? It's missable. What walkthrough did you use?
The movie was shit. It made no sense at all and was basically just an excuse for some /ss/ with Kurisu.
First half wasn't bad, though.
I used http://ibm5100.net/steinswiki/2011/10/22/steinsgate-walkthrough-all-endings-100-cg-achievements/ only for the Kurisu/True Route after playing it blind for the other routes. So the only events I got with Nae was the Moeka stabbing and Train pushing. Naturally it got felt kinda lolrandumb to me.
Yeah, that guide is stupid because it tells you its important to skip the Nae scene when going for the True Ending. That's one of the reasons I made my own flowchart,
>That's one of the reasons I made my own flowchart
Don't be such a tease.
I've posted it here several times already.
I will also be updating this for the official release.
Jesus fuck. I commend you for making this. Mind of steel.
Yeah, I just wish I could get it somewhere more popular than the other walkthrough, so people wouldn't use that one. Well, even though it's a shitty casual site, I could try GameFAQs or something, but I can't do that until the official release comes out.
Is this seriously yours? I saw it on the s;g wikia because google. Well done.
I just finished the movie and I thought it wasn't all that great
Ooh, you saw it? I posted it there several days ago hoping it would show up on google.
Sci what now?
I am infatuated with this game and I feel empty after finishing it. I could not finish Chaos;head before since the protagonist is such a spineless sack of dogshit. Chaos;child and Robotics;notes is probably about the same high school shits.
Pisses me off.
Here's the pastebin I made about the series: http://pastebin.com/DAzu9MaK
Taku is fucking great, pleb. And Kai is fucking cool.
Nigga. I played the beginning of Chaos;Head and almost had to hold back the puke coming up from my stomache since Takumi is so shit. That bitch can't do anything without crying. Bitch nigga.
Just gotta have IMPACTO!
Okabe > Takumi > Kaito
True, but they're all good.
I wonder how Taku 2 will be.
Is it safe to assume that The rest of the VNs in the series take place in the beta timeline without any SERN interference?
Chaos;Head is beta, since that was the world line before shit got crazy in Steins;Gate. Steins;Gate brings things to the Steins Gate world line, which is still the world line as of Robotics;Notes.
>Guy goes on about impact!
>Think he might be cool
>Parrot talks about tits
Of course, of FUCKING COURSE
Guy gets a lot of IMPACTO in his bed.
SG is one of the few stories where It think Time trave/Time Loops are handled in a good way.
Attractor fields aren't real and parallel worlds can't be given numerical values to represent them because every moment creates a new parallel world because of timeline splitting. There are just too fucking many of parallel worlds to give them accurate numerical values.
Which drama cd whynot is going to release next?
The way it was handled good is that they set rules and followed them. It does not have to be 100% correct with reality, just consistent. Ya dig?
>Attractor fields aren't real
No shit sherlock.
>parallel worlds can't be given numerical values to represent them because every moment creates a new parallel world because of timeline splitting. There are just too fucking many of parallel worlds to give them accurate numerical values.
It's divergence from a base, and it is said in the VN that the divergence meter only picks up major changes.
I'm betting Alpha.
Since when basing the entire story off attractor fields and divergence values is consistent?
Then hypothethically, you can assume that there can exist more than one universe with the same divergence number.
Divergence can be negative, as shown in the Faris ending.
>Since when basing the entire story off attractor fields and divergence values is consistent?
What are you talking about. They are consistent by abiding by those divergence values. How are they not consistent with them?
This is where Okabe ends up in the Faris ending. The divergence meter can't display negatives, so there's just no 0, so this is called the Omega attractor field.
It makes sense if you'll view it like that.
Which protagonist is the strongest?
In a fight? Probably Taku since he's a gigalomaniac
SciAdv pastebin: http://pastebin.com/DAzu9MaK
President of the newspaper club, it's sure that his personality is nothing like Taku.
Movie was really shit in that nothing happens but I thought it gave some nice closure to the series.
