It's like everyone here just forgot about the superior format.
I owned a Tenchi Muyo VHS years back. I accidentally sold it in a garage sale. I wonder if I could have made some money off of that.
I want to forget.
Fuck no, the quality would be shit by now.
RMVB is where it's at.
>having to actually meet other weeaboos. or at the very least give them my address and pay to send them shit
Oh god, no thanks.
Good old times when you swapped Anime VHS and had no fucking clue what you are going to get.
I dont miss those times
It would have lost way too much rotational velocidensity for that.
Tapes don't spin that fast. It's the same reason records don't sound that much worse after a few decades of rotating.
Smaller tape, better quality, used by TV studios.
Why use shittier formats?
If you don't watch your 480p anime on a CRT monitor you are literally Ghost Banri.
Control it manually.
every single time.
>subs more expensive than dubs
Every single one of these threads, none of you plebs ever mention Laserdisk. Sad.
>Not saving your anime on 6 MB of God's good, pure format
Have fun in the dark ages spazzes
No. Nobody wants VHS anything, unless it's some ultra rare, never been put out on DVD or Blu Ray anywhere thing.
Anime VHS tapes are 5-for-$4 bargain bin shit.
Though, there are some anime-con dealers that are still trying to sell them at full MSRP.
>needing a CRT monitor
What the hell are these things you guys are posting?
I think it's some stupid stuff old people used before 32 gig flashdrives and the internet were a thing.
Also, I'm twelve and what is this?
Why were these never popular mediums for anime?
