Did /a/ like this anime when it was airing?
IIRC, (and I am not saying I am) it was thought to be alright but there was not much in the way of people watching and discussing it.
/a/ doesnt like anything
It wasn't popular but Dantalian still got a lot of love.
Like many shows, it had a handful of dedicated followers who sometimes raise it up to discuss.
I, for one, loved it. But I admit it could have been better delivered.
Those who watched it tended to like it very much.
I'd call it a cult classic, but it was a little too popular and not quirky enough for that designation.
I didn't watch it when it was airing but I like it now.
I loved the OP.
Wish there was a second season.
Does anyone know if there's enough material? Or did it just not sell well?
I heard the author doesn't want to write it anymore but there's enough for another season.
This always happens when I find something to love.
I wish the manga would be given more love. It's complete, after all.
I love books, and I wish there were more anime about them.
Everyone was wishing Hugh would be the MC in more shows.
You can always read/watch his new series Strike theBlood
Dantalian has a much more interesting story than Strike the Blood. StB has a generic plot but a lot of 10/10 girls though.
i wish MC wasn't so dense, i like everything else tough he's an improved version of touma.
I watched some of StB last season.
I didn't drop it, but to me, it wasn't really on the same level.
Maybe it was just the books in Dantalian that attracted me more.
We need more of that too.
I finished it yesterday.
Dalian was adorable and Huey was a great MC.
Too bad, Huey was a god-tier MC.
i don't compare him with huey though they where clearly different kinds of MC.
I was looking back at it after looking on the thread, and I forgot how badass he was.
>Lieutenant of the British Army
>Earned a Victoria Cross
>travels around with a loli that is also a library
It was not popular, but it was not hated either. Basically a niche show.
pandora!Dalian was my favorite. She won my heart with the way she whispers everything in the introductory scene.
Does she ever come out?
The TV season is pretty disappointing. Though I should finish it one day...
Meh, Yomiko is waifu material, either way.
Only during a flash-forward into the far future. But that was a very moving scene for me anyway.
Why did her hair turn white?
Maybe the green filter
