The greatest gambling manga just finished today. Who else was here for the entire ride?
Everyone Has Super Hearing: The Story
Whoa, it did end today? I watched the anime back then, which I enjoyed a whole lot but never really bothered with the manga.
I wasn't really expecting them to explain where Tokuchi disappeared to, but I was still disappointed.
Suspension of disbelief, anon. I'd gladly accept people have ridiculous hearing in return for awesome gambles.
Manga ended a long time ago, but scanlations have been on-and-off and only recently has it been completely scanlated. I highly suggest reading the manga if you liked the anime.
Did they do the big gap that was skipped because the anime existed? I had to stop reading because of it.
No, that part is still unscanlated. But if you've already seen the anime you can just pick up where it ended.
Definitive tier list of gambling manga.
Why can't I hold all these manly tears?
What? Didn't it end with the Lycaons winning the championship and Tokuchi disappearing? I remember reading scans of that part in about November.
There was another volume with a side story + epilogue that just got scanlated today.
Japs are known for being incredibly quiet and stoic at all occasions. Even at a baseball stadium, one could hear a pin drop amongst the haunting silence
Havent seen this mentioned in so long
What did people think of the live action series?
Mostly because it's been forever since the last chapter release. It's always the series I love the most that aren't on weekly release...
I hope you're only talking about the gambling aspect here.
Akagi is 1000x better than Ten.
>That part where they try to break as many rules as possible in order to delay the game.
If only real baseball was this interesting.
>usogui: shit tear
As far as the games go, it is. It's a great manga that I love.
However you have to be a humongous retard to think that storywise it surpasses Ten. The final 3 volumes by themselves are very hard to beat.
I know. Why does real baseball have to be so shitty?
Thanks for the tip OP, I wondering when vendetta would get around to the last volume
Is that the one where Tokuchi dresses like a ballet dancer or some shit? Or was I just tricked or some shit, I never touched the manga but once saw what I thought was the ending and it was Tokuchi losing a bet or something and having to humilliate himself.
This final volume was a side story before the final games of the pennant race and a short epilogue, yea
That's probably one of the less serious (not really canon) 4 koma included in each volume. Tokuchi gets shipped with Takami a lot
pic related look familiar?
Shinobu was able to make one of the most interesting manga ever written centered around the most boring of sports; he's just that good
Oh man I'm so glad it's a side story and it didn't actually end up like that. I'm hearing the ending wasn't that great but at least it wasn't some stupid shit like what I thought it was.
>centered around the most boring of sports
Now I want a really great dramatic cricket manga
haha that's true
>Ten average tier.
Maybe in gambling, but it surpasses most of the manga there.
but cricket isn't even a real sport
i bet you are hindi or something they are the only ones who like cricket
So the manga is completely translated now, right? Sorry, I'm a bit confused.
Yes, manga is completely done except for parts at the beginning that's covered by the anime.
That's nice, I loved Liar Game and now One Outs. I guess I'll read Kaiji now? I've only watched the anime, but it seems to be the closest thing to the other two manga.
Now that it's completed, I can safely say that this is one of the few manga I consider to be "perfect". Makes me wonder how Liar Game will stand up to it after its final chapter
Does anybody have a chance against Golfing Emperor Zero?
Happens in cricket all the time for tactical and for Paki match fixing purposes.
It's centred around Mitchell Johnson. After the 2009 and 2010/11 arcs he decides to commit seppuku in a Perth maccas but runs into the retired old ace Dennis Lillee who sorts his shit out and he comes back in the 2013/14 arc with a new, secret move
Part 3 when? Anime when?
young Akagi has no match in FKM's works, maybe Washizu would stand a chance against Zero as well
Young akagi would use his sheer pressure to force the ball along it's path.
Too fast paced to be a FKMT anime.
It should have at least 13 episodes of Zero in that room with 21 participants.
As much as I love FKMT I have to admit some of the stuff he comes up with are retarded, and there's LOTS of that in Zero. Half of Zero are shitty math games, I mean the fucking square root of 2? Really?
You have to admit that the finale of Part 2 with the bookshelf-map thing was fucking brilliant though even though it was also batshit insane.
Usogui is MUCH MUCH better than Gamble FIsh. Sry.
A fuckload of things that happen in FKMT manga are retarded. Kaiji being the worse offendor.
Nothing is retarded in Kaiji. A character acting retarded FOR YOU doesn't mean that the act of the character acting retardedly is retarded.
I'm not talking about the characters. Most of the gambles are retarded. The BOG one being the worse offender. It only works because of the characters.
Tilting a casino? Might as well exert all that time and energy towards pulling an actual bank heist
Some stuff in Kaiji is retarded, but trust me, nothing is on the level of some of the stuff in Zero.
Speaking of Gamble Fish, was anyone else upset by this?
>Some random guy from a BL doujin.
Starting the anime tonight, going to see where it takes me.
what is the manga in the same tier as liar game
Zawa Zawa no Pico
