k-on has great music, so why the hate? anime music/k-on thread.

Did you seriously just try to embed that?
I love U&I, it's such a nice song.
Keion thread? everytime
If you don't think the first op is the greatest of all series you are lying to yourself.
this and the song they wrote for Azusa are my favorites.
>so why the hate
Because half the cast is retarded, for a music anime it has very little music in it and very little about music and not enough teacher
What's the best K-ON ending?
Forgot to explain content of this picture
They go to London, end up in the wrong hotel so they are not taking the subway to their hotel but Azucats is walking around in new shoes so her feets start to hurt. Retard decided it would be a good idea to go buy new shoes right away
Love that OP, I almost never skipped it.
I stopped somewhere in the beginning of the 2nd season.
Mostly because it got really dull.
I liked the first season because that's where most of the character defining happened, but then meh...
>I almost never skipped it.
you done fucked up
The first is easily the best op but the others are not so bad either, I didn't like them at first but they get much better with time.
I'm half convinced that most of the London trip is just what happened to the team when they went on their research trip.
That K-On PSP game permanently damaged my tendons. God damn Dear My Keys hell mode is fucking impossible, I swear.
Yeah "research trip"
Way too much moe... Don't hate it, don't love it...
>for a music anime it has very little music in it
Are there any anime actually properly about music?
Well, I wouldn't be surprised, because they sure as fuck didn't do anything in London.
>for a music anime
It is a SoL anime first and music second.
Every time I see Yui, I want to kick her in the mouth and make her swallow the broken teeth. She's that much of a retard.
my african male sibling
>k-on has great music
What hate? K-ON is one of the most talked about and waifued shows on here.
because it's complete bullshit, you don't throw together 5 random strangers and magically start churning out pop singles left and right. Not to mention Yui's adeptness at the guitar is unbelievable, she picks it up and plays like someone who's been playing for at least a few years, being a musician doesn't fucking work like that.
Most likely, going to the wrong hotel is a dead cert.
>ANIME MUST BE REALISTIC YOU GUYS
the bass player for Mio's character songs made me buy a p bass
It seems your ass is itching a little bit m8, you may wanna clean it up.
Don't you think the show would've been slow as hell if Yui learned the guitar like real people do?
I'd say Fuwa Fuwa Time is a pretty reasonable accomplishment to come up with after what, 6 months of being together?
Beck Mongolian Chop Squad
and Detroit Metal City to a certain degree
But it markets itself as a music anime first
>Not to mention Yui's adeptness at the guitar is unbelievable, she picks it up and plays like someone who's been playing for at least a few years
The top of the cherry has to be when Azu and Retard were tuning their guitars and Retard could tell that Azus was off be a tone or two
>you will never be a 17 year old 2D Japanese school girl going on holiday with your friends
Apart from the openings and ending this is one I really like.
>watching a mecha anime
>kid pilot with 0 experience suddenly is a phenom instantly upon touching the controls
>watching a K-On
>kid picks up an instrument with 0 experience and suddenly is a phenom instantly playing like someone with years of experience
they're the same shit, K-On is an insult to every single musician
this is one of my favorites too. if i were to ever own a japanese restaurant, this would be playing.
its not like she picked it up and instantly knew how to play. the only impressive thing she did happened at the first training camp episode which was 4 episodes in when they were listening to Sawako's band recordings
I think you're vastly over exaggerating her ability. All she's able to do is play a song with almost entirely power chords after 6+ months of practicing nearly every day.
Let's face it, at the time K-ON looked great, like Lucky Star round 2.
We tried to pretend it was good, by making the characters seem larger than life and more incredible than they really were.
But looking back on it, it was just bad. I can't rewatch K-ON, it's just painful.
the reason i fell in love with Hikasa Yoko
Don't Say Lazy > No Thank You > Listen
I rewatch it pretty often, and still love it. But I'm extremely weird about SoLs. I can't enjoy most of them unless they are straight comedy or rare exceptions like K-ON.
Why is it painful? Its just and average slice of life show with high amount of moe since it was made by KyoAni. The ending was sweet, it really gets you the feeling that things don't last forever.
you got it wrong, this is the correct way son:
Don't Say Lazy < No Thank You < Listen
What about this?
That is very lovely.
Also best OST, can't hold my shit together when I hear this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyeD6wtyxbk
It's cringeworthy, we did all the cliche anime stereotypes from 2000-2007 over and over. Lucky Star was the parody but then suddenly it was decided that creativity would be given up on and mediocrity would take it's place because there were thousands of weaboo/niwaka juniors who missed Haruhi/Lucky Star the first time round and needed something to fill the hole. Thus, K-ON and Bakemonogatari took their place.
K-ON is too corny to enjoy, it's not even corny in a self-parodying way, it's just painful. It tries too hard to be cute and misses the mark.
I think you're missing out on a really enjoyable watch, but you can't help how you feel.
I can't open the Youtube links right now but I really like Pure Pure Heart.
That's kind of funny, you describe how I feel about most SoLs. I guess K-ON just hit the spot perfectly for my preferences (even though I had seen LS, Haruhi, Azumanga, and probably a few others before watching it). We could just accept that people have other opinions but this is /a/ so eat a dick faggot.
I'm not really missing out on anything because I've already seen both series and I watched the movie in Japan.
I think she's pretty unattractive but I love her voice so much and any character she voices is always my favorite.
Huh, why? Anyway, I'm not saying you're missing out on something world ending, I just mean if you find it painful you obviously can't enjoy watching that particular show, and I think it's fun.
Yeah a lot of people think that from what I've seen. But for me I think she's super attractive ... Other than her teeth which i think is why a lot of people find her unattractive
those eyes and those legs tho
Jesus Christ - it's 4 hours long! Hikkimori's obviously have quite a lot of pent up energy.
not sure why it started there its supposed to be at around 29:42
If they were Hikkis how did they go and see it?
They sold blood and semen.
But if they're hikkimoris they can't leave their houses. Checkmate athiests.
