So /a/, I just finished Welcome to the NHK, and I'm still wondering about something...
What happened to the president's hair?
She dyed it.
hikki brother stole it
fuck this series
the manga AND the anime
sato should have fucked sempai
Never gonna happen. Satou's a pussy.
why is the anime so LOL GONZO
I cried manly tears when Yamazaki went back home. It felt like the end of an era. And the way he ended with that girl was fucking epic.
What are you talking about? He already did.
uh no he did not
read the manga scrub
and i dont think he went through with it in the anime anyways
Didn't he have sex with her when they were still in high school?
So he did fuck that older girl that married the asshole business guy, or didn't he?
No, she was fucking some asshole during that time.
Oh yeah, what a whore.
She deserved to kill herself.
In the novel, he had sex with her before she graduated.
In the animu and mango, he says he's a virgin.
awesome series is awesome
i THINK the REAL question IS whetherez thizs Series is actually worth enjoying For those thave haven't watched it (by thtat i mean only me and only me, and those that doesn't want to regrade themselves to the sad life styles we have all grown accoustemed too)
Excuse me, but what part of your body are you typing with?
Penis touch typing.
i believe its the index fingure and the middle finger, can't seem to coherently write since at the moment for some rasion
these wine gums here aren't helping either...... btw i've been writing in a number of other recent /a/ threads as well if u haven't noticed alreay with the saem type of style of writing
"A few days before graduation, she even let me do her once.
It moved me deeply to think that the payoff for having kept on her good side over two whole years was that one single act. It was randomly exciting, yet it was also sad. In the end, I was able to do it just that once."
Awesome novel is awesome.
Recently finished the novel, after already reading the mango and animu. I saw the animu too long ago to really remember the differences there. I liked the mango because it had more to the story, but I think the novel is the best. The novel is much more about loneliness and inability to interact, and like the mango has the open end.
Animu = good end
Mango = ? end + Psyco bitch Misaki
Novel = (worse than mango) bad-ish end + cannot escape + drugs
Best part about the novel was when Satou and Yamazaki visit the church in disguises. Funny shit.
A great thing about the novel was that the funny parts were also serious and relevant to the overall story. Novels don't do filler and survive well.
It is worth watching or reading. It's sort of a dark comedy due to the fact that most of us are represented as characters in this series. If you can't laugh in this series at least once, then you truly have a sad life.
Some people cannot watch this without realizing that their life is shit. I say to those who avoid watching or reading this series that they are IN serious denial.
This series is a reflection of our very lives and the majority of anime fans will not attempt to truly understand it. Anime is an escape from reality, this is the exception.
Imagine my surprise when I watched the anime then read the manga. You get a decently sane Misaki in the anime and a batshit insane one in the manga. Fuckkkkk
So each of the ending of the publication is like the ending of a dating sim.
Indeed, though I highly doubt this was intended by the author.
From the book's epilogue, the author states that he is a hikkimori living off the success of his book, but he is still unable to escape. Such a person would not write the animu's happy ending. According to my quick googleing, The author wrote the novel and manga, but he is listed only as original creator for the anime.
Anime will always be sugar-coated one way or the other. It's an escape from reality after all.
