I arranged a date with a girl on Tinder. Since arranging the date, I've had second thoughts for two reasons:
1. Tracked down her Facebook and found out her pictures are like >6 years old. She also commented on one to the effect that she has set herself a goal to look like this again... (I already thought she looked a little bit overweight)
2. She keeps messaging me to chat and is coming off a little bit clingy already.

She has my number and I'd like to at least tell her the date is off. My question is, how can I phrase this? I'm stuck between trying to be honest and coming across like a dick. Is it ok to lie in these circumstances for simplicity's sake?

I've had girls flake on me before and I guess I'm trying to the right thing rather than just block her and ignore any texts. Help me /adv/
